[Chapter 3]
Mazir slowly clenched the blue root of a flower, which released a green liquid into a small glass. This wasn’t the first time he had done it, as the glass was half filled with such a liquid.
Finally the small glass’s liquid started to shine. Mazir’s face shone with excitement. “Finally! Now I can temporarily raise my strength enough to face the Mutant Tiger head on! Hehe.” This liquid was a type of medicine called “The Strength of Twenty Elephants”.
Of course it didn’t give you actually that much power but surely you had the strength of at least three elephants. Due to Mazir still not awakening to Qi he could only use half of it. That was his limit, his master Azrael had said that too.
Thus Mazir wasn’t going to go insane and drink it all.
“Hopefully this will enchant my spear too. I read a book saying that it was possible for some medicine to be used on weapons. My master said that this kind of medicine could enchant my spear. Hopefully he wasn’t lying to me.” Mazir exclaimed.
He gulped as he slowly spread some liquid on top of the wood. This wood was a special wood capable of absorbing most liquids. Thus Mazir was half sure it would work. He had nothing to lose anyway.
It seems it partially worked as a bit of the liquid was absorbed. But Mazir was a bit disappointed at the absorbing capacity of the spear’s wood. It was simply not even a half!
Well at least now it was way stronger than steel.
He waved it. It was like three times heavier. Not only that, it felt like each wave of the spear created a small shockwave which was impossible to notice unless you were extremely close to it.
“RAAWWR!” Dozens of birds flew away as a terrifying roar thundered out! Mazir was instantly startled as he was slow to organize. It took him like ten seconds to grab his spear and get ready for the incoming beast.
He took a long breath as the bushes moved. The beast was close!
Mazir could already see it’s shadow which was huge!
He took a random stance. He was not sure what he was supposed to do, defend or attack? The beast advanced revealing itself…
It was the Mutant Tiger!
He gasped. This Mutant Tiger was most likely an adult one. Because he was four times bigger than a normal Tiger! And that wasn’t all, his claws contained far more power! Mazir was shocked.
‘How could this Mutant Tiger be so strong? I doubt that even with the medicine I created, I can win. I can’t Win!’ Mazir thought deep in his mind.
He closed his eyes for a moment which was something he couldn’t afford! However it seems the tiger didn’t attack him.
When he opened his eyes they flashed golden as he suddenly dashed forward, in his hand he held the Wooden Spear which was enchanted with special medicine.
His small body made it possible for him to be very agile, he dodged many branches and in a breath he was already less than a meter away from the Mutant Tiger which roared and and also ran towards him.
However Mazir wasn’t stupid. He was pushing his body a little bit forward, so when the two hit Mazir would have the upperhand. He had already applied medicine into his body allowing his pores to open. His weight and height could never compare to the tiger but he could push him!
They were just a few cm away from each other!

Mazir’s eyes flashed with fear for a moment however it didn’t take even a slight second for the fear to disappear.
He wished that he could just return to being just a slave…
HOWEVER HE HAD ALREADY DECIDED
“I’M A CULTIVATOR, DAMMIT!” He roared as he thrust his spear forward with both of his hands. His hands bled and his eyes turned red. He had used all his power in a single attack!
It was a smart decision by him.
There were several reasons he had to end it in one blow. There was no way Mazir could have more stamina than the Mutant Tiger, thus due to their similar power he had to end it in one blow!
That was his only chance! He couldn’t risk everything in a long battle with dozens of exchanges of moves between the tiger and him!
The Mutant Tiger had a slight trace of intelligence so it knew what Mazir was trying to do, but it was a only a slight trace, thus he didn’t react at all to it.
*SCRRI*
The sounds made from his claws and the spear of Mazir wasn’t pleasant at all to ears.
The Mutant Tiger was injured so badly that a 50 cm wounds appeared on it’s body. The Tiger screamed. The pain was probably too huge for him to endure. Mazir was barely any better, his hands were injured as blood fell from them each second.
He was just six years for god’s sake!
Usually children that age ate candies or played around. Mazir?
Oh he ate medicines which caused him pain and played aroun- oh that’s called training here.
“Dammit he’s still alive.” Usually by now The Mutant Tiger should’ve been unable to move but he knew better.
“I can’t use my hands anymore! If The Tiger tries to kill me I will be unable to defend!” Mazir sweated slightly as he looked at the barely scratched wooden spear.
He shaked like his death was very close. However he had forgotten that even if the tiger managed to stand up and attacked him he could outrun the wounded tiger!
Fear had already captured his heart!
His fear already became true as the Mutant Tiger growled and slowly stood up the wound had already closed a bit, it seems he used Life force in exchange for a chance to kill Mazir!
“Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap…” Mazir muttered “crap” a hundred times. Was he really going to die?
“It Was OVER”
Mazir’s mind flashed his life a hundred times in less than a second.
“Wait…”
He roared as he grabbed the spear with his teeth!
His teeth started to slightly crack under the great power of the spear!
“THE PAIN” He roared as he swung the spear and injured the tiger’s eye.
Again…Again...Again...Again...Again...Again...Again...Again...Again...AND AGAIN.
The Mutant Tiger finally died…
“HahahahahhahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA”
Mazir let a huge proud laugh as he fell down.
“I did it master…” He smiled as he crushed a small jade in his hand.
Suddenly Azrael appeared and looked calmly at him.
“Good.” He only muttered a single word, but for Mazir that single word was worth a thousand words. It meant that he had left a good impression on his master and also completed the training mission Azrael gave him.
“I did it master.” Mazir’s words sounded wrong as his teeth had almost shattered completely. Azrael sighed.
‘I have to change his teeth pretty early huh.’
Azrael chuckled as he punched Mazir, somehow his teeth healed and he wasn’t injured at all. However, Mazir was knocked out after that, so Azrael had to drag him out of the forest alone.
“I choose a nice disciple…” He smiled....

Two months later - Time Dimension
Mazir’s power rose crazy since that day.
While he certainly wasn’t strong enough to kill the Mutant Tiger in one blow he’d kill it way easier than before without any sacrifice.
His hands took a few days to heal thanks to his master otherwise, they’d take months to even years to heal at all. He probably wouldn’t be able to survive it, but thankfully the time here is slow that he doesn’t even age at all.
He took a huge breath and clenched his fist. It was already fortunate that he was apprentice of such a strong person, but it also meant that he had to work hard so that he didn’t disappoint Azrael. That was what Mazir thought for the last month.
While his improvement was insane, he really thought it wasn’t that much. After all some people could shatter this dimension easily, but only if his master wasn’t close to maintain it that is. He really had no idea what were his master’s limits.
“Hopefully Master managed to get that rare elixir so he can breakthrough to the next stage. That’s all he can do as he’s blocked inside my medallion.” It was weird how he was actually stuck inside his medallion.
All his master could do currently is cultivate.
Well not like he could do many other things too. He was stuck inside this small dimension until he managed to control Qi which despite him training was still nearly impossible.
Despite nearly four months of being here his improvement like I said before(oops) was nothing compared to true geniuses, but it was insane for a mortal!(remember he still can’t use Qi/Qi/Spiritual Qi/Ren whatever you prefer okay?)
Mazir gasped as he looked at the book he was reading. It contained stories about legendary heroes who chased devils from heaven to mortal realm to hell and down to Void. It was an epic tale which turned legendary.
He dreamed of actually doing the same things these legendary heroes had done. But even now he knew it was impossible(This is going to be an important word SO BE CAREFUL), what could a person like him achieve? He was a mere slave which was going to start cultivating soon. Compared to the other cultivators he might start a little bit earlier but the difference wasn’t as huge as they think.
Right?
