CHAPTER 91

CHAPTER 91

Wonder Girl looked over at me with furry scorched in her eyes. She charged at me, her fists blazing with electricity. She leaped into the air and threw a punch at me with all her might, and with intention to kill. I looked up at her with a smirk and took a telekinetic hold of her in mid-air. Nullifying the momentum she had built up and the electricity too.

"Such fierce determination from a young girl." I looked her in the eyes and a smirk slowly grew on my cheeks. "I like you." I teased the blondy.

With a swift reflex, I reached for her neck and gave a choking grip. Before yanking her into the air, tweaking with her bioelectricity and magnetizing the ground beneath us. I increased my momentum and acceleration, thereby increasing the power as I smashed her into the magnetized ground.

Every cell within her body reverberated with a sharp neurological pain, like a knife was being pierced through them.

Wonder Girl let out a loud scream before losing consciousness, completely knocked out cold as steam evaporated from her body.

"Well, I guess that was way more than you could handle!" I exclaimed.

"You'll pay for this!" Yelled Superboy.

He dashed at me, faster than the human eye could see. Upon reaching me, he put his all into a punch aimed at the middle section of my face.

I lifted my left hand and held his fist, absorbing the force and weight of his blow. Then transferred it through my body and to my right fist, multiplying its force and momentum by five times their original weight.

All this happened in an instant and Superboy was surprised to have received a cataclysmic uppercut, sending high into the night sky and through a considerable distance.

I flew into the air and increased my acceleration in chase of him, I got to him and multiplied the previous one by twenty-five its last weight and made it a total of one hundred and twenty-five times its original weight, in the process.

I gave a punch that could only be defined as 'Catastrophic' If someone ever tried to describe it.

He rammed into the ground and gave a thudding sound as he created a massive size of craters and debris around him due to the impact. He coughed out blood, his eyes completely white as the black had rolled up.

I looked down at him, completely unimpressed with the young kryptonian as I turned around to face Aqualad and Artemis who were utterly speechless and had frightened expressions on their faces.

"It…isn't over." A voice said from behind, breathing through each sentence as he spoke.

It was Superboy, struggling to get up on his feet. "I've had enough of your nonsense." I said as I darted at him, giving a glitch-like after image as I disappeared and reappeared in front of him like I had teleported over there.

I reached for the knife hostler I had by the side of my thigh and brought out an emerald blade, made from kryptonite. It gave a green and bright glow as it gleamed between Superboy and I.

I held him by his shoulder before he could fall to his knees due to the effect of the kryptonite, "Next time, you'd know to keep your nose off another man's business." I said to him before slowly driving the kryptonite blade into his stomach and gave it a brute twist as I watched him gasp for air and groaned in pain.

I let him drop to the floor as I removed the knife, he was bleeding out and had passed out.

"Superboy!!!" Aqualad yelled, worry and anger harmoniously etched on his face as he watched what I had done to Superboy. Artemis was completely broken by the sight of the overwhelming strength I had exhibited over them that night.

"Enough!" Aqualad yelled as he dashed towards me, reaching for his back and creating a huge mallet made from a mixture of water and electricity which crackled around it.

He swung a blow which produced a huge thundering sound that vibrated through the air, his mallet had hit the deflective field over the upper layer around my body and deflected a shockwave that was twice the original force, back at him.

He was thrusted into the air and smashed through a building, before coming to a violent stop against a truck at the other side of the street, destroying the vehicle in the process.

"That must have hurt." I said as I flew through the man-shaped hole his body had created on the walls of the building filled with people who gave me a terrified look as they cowered underneath the table and in a corner.

"Don't get too worked up, Atlantains skin are quite dense." Aqualad said, wiping the blood on the side of his mouth as he shakingly stood up on his feet.

He stretched his hands forward and with a buzzing sound, two hunter knives which emitted a blue glow appeared in his hands, matching the glowing lines that traced from his shoulders and around his arms.

"They never learn, do they?" I sarcastically said, looking at the young lad who dashed at me on full speed. He turned one of the knives into a whip and swung it around me then pulled at me with the other knife aimed at my chest.

The blue knife structure he had on his hand broken as it got deflected by my field and repelled him, causing him to collide against a thick tree few meters away.

Artemis shot some arrows at me as she started to ran circles round me. I accelerated at her, dashing through the air and choke slamming her against the walls of a near building. She passed out and her unconscious body fell off the wall and dropped to the ground.

"What kind of… monster are you?" Superboy said, struggling to stand on his feat as his wounds had almost closed up.

"Oh, you're up already. I guess I just have to knock you down a few more times and you'll learn to stay down." I remarked before turning to fully face him. He held a beam of laser vision around his eyes and condensed it before releasing the laser beam at me, it emitted a deep red glow which was thicker than the previous one.

I sighed, I knew the recoil of that attack might be too much for his body to handle at the moment and considering the state he was, it might be threatening to his life.

A wide grin crept across my face, I was excited to know the result of hitting him with his own medicine. The beam reached me and I densed up the deflective field around me, it hit the field and deflected back at Superboy with a powerful recoil.

It hit him and thrusted him through the cold night air, making him burst through the windscreen of a truck and bursting out from the back, before smashing into a car behind the truck.

I'm not going to use the kryptonite knife on him again, as much as I enjoyed roughing up the sidekicks, I wouldn't want to kill any of them. It might have an extremely negative ripple effect against me in the near future.

I looked around me and I savored the sight of the fallen sidekicks all around me, completely dominated by me and each given a taste of my overwhelming powers.

"That'll be enough for the evening, I gotta get out of here soon before someone unexpectedly appears again and picks another fight." I muttered to myself and walked over to my bike.

I mounted my bike and was about to leave when a blue beam raced at me from behind. It hit my bike and completely destroyed it in an explosion, while I was thrust into the air due to the explosion. I regained my cognitive control mid-air, and floated in the air.

Turning back, I was aggravated by the sight of BlueBettle with his hand stretched out and transformed into a huge blue missile like launcher and with Impulse who stood above Kid Flash, having a look of despair on his face.

"You bastard." Impulse shouted, then disappeared in a lightning fast blur that zipped my way. He came into my personal space and threw a semi-sonic punch at my face, for an instant his face loosened up in surprise when he realized that his attack did not faze me.

"That's… Quite disappointing." I said as I blew a sarcastic whistle while shaking my head, showing my level of utter disappointment with impulse attack.

It threw him off my personal space and had him crashing into the ground, thrown by the deflected recoil of his own punch. His own fire power and rage was fired back at him like a reflective mirror had absorbed it and blew it all at his face.

Blue Beetle was rattled by the incident and jumped back a few meters, gaining some space for himself as he transformed his hands into a cybernetic laser-beam missile launcher and charged up the blast for a few seconds before blasting it directly my way.

"Oh shit, here we go again." I muttered with an exasperated tone.
