Right in front of my eyes, I could see Sora was rushing straight into the mysterious woman, and without hesitation, she swung her leg right into the mysterious woman's face but...

"Guogh?!"

But why the hell she was kicking me?! I was sure I stood at the entrance and Sora was in the middle of the living room, and yet here she was, with her leg kicking straight right into my stomach.

"Oh my, what a high spirited wench thou art." Said the mysterious woman.

"Hah?!" Confused, Sora was looking back and forth toward me and the mysterious woman. "But how?!"

"Ufufu, now why don't thee two joineth us?"

With a snap from her finger, suddenly I was sitting in the middle of the room, Sora on my left side and Miku on the right. "First thing first, why don't thee two said thanks to your brother?"

"Thanks~" Miku stood and bowing her head while she said this.

"But... I was standing over there." On the other hand, my other sister was blankly looking back and forth toward the entrance and her current position.

Yeah sis I had the same feeling like you right now. And I was wondering how Miku could you stay calm in a situation like this and did you let a stranger entering our house?!

I cradled my head in confusion, this wasn't good, my brain had stopped working, there were too many questions, like too many even I couldn't decide what I should do right now.

"Ufufu~ as I thought, thou doth not remember anything." Said the mysterious woman. "No wonder you guys hadn't contacted me."

"But I guess that can't be helped." Said the mysterious woman. "Then allow me to explain your situation."

With a friendly smile, the mysterious woman was stretching her hand, showing off her palm to me and Sora. "C'mon you two, grab my hand."

Nervously I reached out to her hand, my palm was wet and full of sweat from the nervousness alone. I meant... besides from my mom, Sora and Miku. This was the first time I made a contact with another woman, and a beautiful one if I must say,

Ah...

As I felt the smooth skin on her palm, I began to remember what was going on. I was bathing in my own blood, the amount... I was sure I was lost more than a lethal dose. Under my body, I thought I was protecting Miku, but the truth I was squashing her down, and Sora was getting stuck on her seat, hanging upside down.

And I made a contract. In exchange for our life, without considering their consent, I agreed that we would become her follower.

And as I snapped back into the reality, I felt someone was pulling my collar and lifting my body. "You!!! Why didn't you ask me first?!" Said Sora.

To be honest, words left my mouth either it was because of the amazement that she lifted my body, or because I got choked or because she asked something very stupid and unreasonable.

Though, seeing her lifting my body made me remembered an important question. "Erm... Mrs Goddess, I'm wondering, did you do something to our body?"

"Ufufu~ that's only a small bonus for my follower." Said the Goddess. "And you guys have a duty to be fulfilled after all."

Duty? huh... I didn't know why but I was shivering when I heard that word. Though, another question popped up into my mind.

"When you said you guys... is that only us? how about the cab driver?" I said as Sora was wildly shaking my body.

"Oh... that's a shame but god and goddess have their own limit, as for me, I can't help those who have already died." Said the Goddess.

"Then, why us? and what's our duty?"

With a friendly smile, the goddess spoke. "It isn't us, but it's you. but it has been a very long time since I see a sibling that receive my blessing, so why not?" 

"And about your duty, I'll tell it when the time comes." Said the Goddess. "Now, why don't you two sit down first?"

Once again, with a snap from her finger both of me and Sora was sitting on the floor.

Standing up, with a proud face Miku walked next to the said Goddess and clearing her throat. "*Ahem* Lief brother, lief sister. Here I act as the messenger to introduce the goddess of the hunt, wild animals, and the moon to thee."

I could only tilt my head when I heard Miku spoke like that.

"And I have many names, Artemis, Diana, Bendis and many more, feel free to address any of those names." Said Artemis.

"Hey! Mrs Artemis! Do I do that right?!" Asked Miku.

"Ufufu~ not bad for a first-timer." Said Artemis.

"Then what about my reward?!" Asked Miku.

"Ufufu~ then as the reward you'll be the one to receive the first blessing between your siblings."

Artemis was stretching her hand, signalling Miku to grab her hand, in which she silently followed her.

Though, at first, I thought there would be something like a big shine or magic circle or something like that. But a second later, Miku was shouting while showing off an adult thumb sized deer tattoo under her right wrist.

Wait...

Tattoo?!!! No, no, no that was too flashy!! And was they okay to receive a tattoo?!

But even before I moved or asked for another alternative, she already grabbed our hand. For Sora, it was a bow and arrow tattoo and as for me, it was a crescent-shaped tattoo.

And before I was able to protest or comment about the tattoo, she had already gone, leaving only a small note, telling us that she would send a messenger to us, and how to pray to her.

"...Touch the tattoo while thinking about the symbol or calling my name three times." Was what was written on the paper.

"P.S or you could just pray like the old day."

"P.S.S For my offering, I prefer honey."

"P.S.S.S Cookie is fine too."

Truth to be told, once she was gone thousand of question suddenly rose into my mind, like why was she stopped using Shakespearean?! what was offering? and she didn't tell the duty!!

But.. no matter how much I shouted her names, she didn't come back. 

In the end, I touched the tattoo and thinking about the crescent moon, a game like-screen appeared right in front of my face.

There were several options that I could access, it was: Status, Blessing, Offering, Communing.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw those options, curiously I touched the first option: Status. And instantly my lips curled up, I knew this wasn't the right time for me to think about this kind of things, but I just couldn't contain the hype when I saw the rpg-ish status screen.

Health: 25.

Mana: 7.

God Point (GP): 0

Muscles: +2

Increasing physical power, increasing muscles mass, increasing health.

Bones: +1

Increasing jump distance and power, increasing bones density, increasing stamina.

Nerves: +3

Increasing running speed, increasing body control and flexibility. 

Vision: +3

Identifying weak spot, Increasing visual acuity.

Hearing: +1

Increasing body balance, increasing hearing radius and sensitivity.

Sensing: +2

Identifying mana and increasing mana perception range.

Fortitude: +3

Increasing physical damage resistance, increasing stamina, increasing health.

Increasing reaction speed, increasing thought process.

Resistance: +2

Increasing magic resistance, increasing the ability to recover from negative effects.

Increasing magic power, increasing memory capacity.

Increasing the ability to influence others, increasing the ability to increasing or decreasing magical presence.

Increasing the ability to concentrate longer, increasing Mana.

For me, the term of health and mana wasn't something weird or unusual. And the rest of the status also gave a simple explanation, leaving God Point as the only big question and the numerical problem as the small questions.

Next, I opened the Blessing screen.

Blessing

Snare Trap (Artemis): Create a magical snare trap made from a vine. Mana cost: 1.

I rubbed my chin as I thought blessing was another way to say it was a skill menu if this was a video game.

"Oi! how do you do that?" Asked Sora.

Silently I gave the note to her, and just as I wanted to check the Offering menu.

"What's Mana?" Miku tilted her head as she watched her screen. "Hey, Nii-chan what's Charisma? what's visual acuity?"

"What's muscle mass?" She continued. "Can I shoot a laser beam from my eyes?!"

I turned my head, looking at her, watching her tilting her head left and right with a dozen of question mark flying out. "What's thought process?" "How do you read this?"

It wasn't like I know the precise answer either... but I briefly explained about the function of each status to the best of my knowledge. "And visual acuity is the sharpness of the retinal focus within your eyes."

"What's retinal?"

For each question that I answered, another question arose... yeah... I sucked on this kind of things.

"Oi! How do I use the blessing?!" Asked Sora.

"Duh... I have no idea too."

"What's a negative effect?" Asked Miku.

"...Something bad, like sickness maybe?"

"Oi, why is your health is higher than mine?!" Asked Sora.

"What's thought process?" Asked Miku.

...Seemed like this would take a long time to answer their questions.
