The buzzer of my phone vibrated like an annoyed rattlesnake living in my pocket. I scooped it up, spoke into it, and listened for a moment. It was the usual, my father had an emergency case he couldn't leave and that meant bye bye family dinner, but I guessed this was a good thing, this would give some time to calm myself and arrange my thoughts.

I took a deep breath, let it out, took another one, and breathed it out again. I needed a solitude to think about our excuses. And just when the gear on my brain started rotating, the noises engulfed me, completely stopping the rotating gear, rendering any logical thought or conclusion impossible.

What was I thinking?

On the top of my head, a raven with the feathers as black as tar stood. With its ebony beak, it repeatedly pecked my head, pulled my hairs, and paid no attention to the neighbour when it croaked for as loud as it could.

Resting on Sora's hand was a falcon with the feathers as grey as ash. With its golden beak and talons, it silently stood on her right hand, while creating crunching sound as it munched the chocolate cookies. 

And being hugged by Miku was an owl with the feathers as white as snow. It had fluffy wings and a bulky head that made it look larger than the most owls, it was throwing its feathers into the air as it was trying to get away from Miku's hug.

So how did I can explain to my father we suddenly got three birds?

Yes, with a single glance I knew it was Artemis's messenger. Why? Because the birds literally broke into our house. The raven came by unlocking the lock on the windows and the falcon knew how to open the refrigerator and the cookie jar. Anyhow, I couldn't think off any good excuses about how we got those birds, well it wasn't like our father would come home tonight, so I guessed I had another day to think about our excuses.

And as both of Sora and Miku were busy playing with their birds, I continued to explore the menu. Offering appeared to be a shop, the place where we could buy equipment or item, and God Point seemed to be the currency to buy those things.

When I chose Communing, another screen popped up.

Hattori Tsubasa communing time: 59 seconds left.

Huh? Then what? What kind of feature was this?

How about my messenger? Do you like it?

Suddenly I heard Artemis's voice rang inside of my head, just like the time when I was in the accident. It felt weird if I had to say, hearing someone else spoke into your mind but it seemed Communing was where we could talk to her?

Maybe in a sense, this was what she meant by the replacement for praying.

I vaguely had an idea that Communing was the only way for me to talk to her. But with a limited amount of time and hundreds of question I wanted to ask, I sorted my priority.

Yes, I can... then, can I ask about something? It is about using the Blessing, more precisely how to use the Blessing.

There are several ways to use the Blessing and each one of it has their own perk.

As she was explaining everything in a single breath, I was trying at my best to not question or interrupt her explanation while my thumbs were dancing on my phone screen.

Just as the timer reached zero, I couldn't hear her voice. And when I tried to use Communing again, it said I had to wait for another 168 hours before I could do that again.

Anyway, several things that I managed to get from her: 

First was Chanting. By using Chanting I just needed to concentrate my attention when I wanted to use the blessing and chant the spell names, but there was a limit of how much I could save the blessing in this way.

Second, it was Gesture. It needed the body gesture and depended on how fast my body could do the gesture it could be faster or slower than the Chanting. On the other hand, by doing Gesture meant I didn't need to speak or make any unnecessary noises.

The third was Material. When using Material I needed to burn the necessary materials to use the blessing and the blessing power could be modified by the quantity or the quality of the material I burned.

And lastly, it was Formation. This was the longest and the most complicated method but this method would allow me to save the blessing and use it on a later time.

So that’s it, at least that was what I got in 60 seconds, and It seemed depending on the blessing types, some could only be used with one specific method while others needed me to use more than one method.

Anyhow after I reread the method. I opened my blessing screen and checked Snare Trap.

I could use it with three methods: Chanting, Material, and Formation. Just for the sake of my curiosity, I touched the Snare Trap for a few seconds until the letters turned red.

" [Snare Trap] "

As soon as I said that, I had a feeling that my whole body had lost some strength, and then my right hand began to give off a delicate light.

I used my glowing hand to touch the floor. The light on my hand slowly dissipated into the floor and around 15 seconds later the glow was completely gone.

Using the same hand I beckoned Sora to walk toward my direction.

Even though she was complaining, she put her falcon and walked to me, seemed like both of her and Miku were to busy to play with their own birds.

And just as her right foot touched the floor right  around 1-meter away from my position, 

A circular rope made from a vine appeared right where Sora's foot stepped, it was tightening itself around her ankle and tripping her down with her face going directly onto the floor, creating a sound loud enough to 

Anyway, it was a successful one I guessed? And in the span of 15 seconds, I could choose the anchor point, the rope length, the rope weight, its tightness and et cetera. In this case, the anchor point it was the floor, the rope length was short enough to instantly trip her and for the weight, I used the maximum weight, 40 kg.

Speaking of successful, silently I turned around and creeping my way out of her face, but...

"Oi, where are you going?" Sora said that with monotone as her face still kissing the floor.

"...Making some dinner." I said in a low voice.

And just as I finished my words while trying to run away.
