the author is really not in the mood to describe in detail what happens next, so I'll paraphrase.
when the house was teleported into the air, everyone dissapeared from it. all except 12 kids. there's actually thirteen, but you don't know that yet.
the Old Man sent those kids up there as like a test or something. remember the King from last chapter? he's fucking omnipotent. he's in the process of taking over the world, and these kids are the only ones who can stop him.
see, these Kids have """"powers"""". absolute BULLSHIT powers. borderline useless. pretty much the only thing they have going for them is the fact that the King can't harm them directly. they're called Untouchables because of this.
This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.
the Old Coot put these twelve(thirteen) """""Untouchables""""" in the sky house to help """train""" them. they must find their powers and figure out how to escape. spoiler: the only way back to the ground is through an elevator that will take a week to get there. while they wait, there's ANOTHER shitty plot twist they have to deal with: you know how i said there were 13 kids? there's only supposed to be twelve. one of them is Evil.
the author planned to make this big dramatic scene about this development, but in case you can't tell, he's fucking pissed right now and wants to make a rash decision or two.
hey, look! some angsty dialogue!
