(i dropped this version, going back to a previous version i’ve made, which is much stronger. you can find it at https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/59015 a bunch of kids find themselves trapped in a house floating miles in the air. though they don’t know it, this is only the surface tension atop an ocean of suffering.  try not to look too hard for a plot. the characters are where the fun comes from.
