Chapter 7: The Might of the [Ultimate Brick] Secret Art

The Red Crown Horned Dragon fainted after the 15th talisman.

After checking that no else was nearby, Adrian cautiously walked to the beast. He first touched its horn and caressed them.

The horns of the dragon was about one meter in length and, according to records, should weigh about a ton each. Each were beautiful and red like a ruby and silky smooth. At the tip of every horn was a bit of golden hue that made the horns more beautiful than they already were.

Adrian tried to break the horns off the dragon's head since he didn't have a blade to cut them off. However, no matter how much he pulled, the horns would budge at all. He even fell on his behind because his hand slipped.

"Damn, how will this work." He decided to just sit on its head and think. "The horns are too firmly implanted to its scalp and it’s too heavy for me to drag it somewhere. Even if I do bring it somewhere else, how would it benefit me?"

Apparently, he was too deep into his thoughts that Adrian didn't notice the eyes of the dragon below him twitching. It was after a few seconds until the dragon completely woke up. However, it stayed completely still.

When it woke up, it noticed that a creature was on its head and after hearing a few noises from the creature, it determined that it was a human! The flames of wrath raged in its heart, knowing that this little human was definitely the reason it was currently on the ground.

It really wanted to jump up now and eat the human, but it knew that it had to be patient; it had to wait until it knew that the human was distracted.

Several minutes passed by and Adrian and the dragon has yet to move. One was concentrating and the other was waiting. One was calm and the other was fuming.

Noticing that the human on its head was still unmoving, the dragon launched its attack!

Adrian felt the dragon below him started to swiftly raise its head and launched him into the air.

"Crap! It's awake already!?" He thought that after 15 Electric Fire Talisman, the dragon would be knocked-out-cold for several hours. Unfortunately, this Red Crown Horned Dragon wasn't the average beast.

After launching Adrian into the air, the dragon jumped up as well. It open its jaw, wanting to devour the human that caused it harm.

Seeing the nasty, smelly mouth of the dragon, Adrian felt a sicken feeling welling inside his stomach. He ignored it and used the [Spring-Autumn Leaf Breeze] to dodge the Red Crown Horned Dragon.

After doing so, he circulated the green mist energy inside him to maximum power and form a fiery lotus and an icy lotus.

He crossed his arms, sending the lotuses towards the dragon.

[Twin Lotuses of Fire and Ice], pincer attack!

The two lotuses collided into the dragon and exploded. The shockwave created from the explosion send several nearby trees and Adrian flying several dozens of meters away. He stabilized himself using the movement-type divine ability and managed to stand still.

However, the booming sound of footsteps rang in the distance as the Red Crown Horned Dragon was currently charging at him!

On the sides of the dragon were two different marks. One was white and frosty and the other was dark and charred. While the dragon was injured from his attack, it was completely enrage to the point that it simply ignored the pain.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

Now, Adrian was panicking. Earlier, he used over 90% of the green mist energy to use that attack and thought that it was enough to kill it. However, he wasn't expecting the Red Crown Horned Dragon to be so strong in both defense and will!

"Damn!" He threw out the last remaining talismans in his ring and as the dragon came in close, he ignited them. However, before he could ignite them, the dragon turned around and swiped its tail.

The tail attack managed to knock back ten talisman, but five of them were attached to the tail.

BOOM!!!

The moment the five Electric Fire Talisman exploded, the Red Crown Horned Dragon's tail was completed obliterated!

As for the other ten talisman, when they were knocked back, they all landed and exploded in the forest. Now, a massive wildfire was starting to spread from tree to tree. Several creatures living within the tree or around the area started to move out as soon as they saw fire.

Even some strong beasts that can completely leave a town in ruins were running in the opposite direction as soon as they saw the massive storm of flames and blazing trees.

However, neither Adrian nor the Red Crown Horned Dragon had time to pay attention to the natural disaster taking place.

In this battle of life and death, only the two of them existed within the fighting arena known as a forest.

Since the dragon's tail was destroyed into nothingness, it decided to open its jaw once more to eat Adrian. Its eyes flickered with murder as it came closer to its adversary.

Seeing that mouth like the grip of the Reaper coming closer towards him, countless thoughts stormed inside Adrian's head.

Was he going to die here? After training and living for nine years, was he going to die just like that?

Ah hell no!

In this state when he's about to die, Adrian took out the brick! Raising the brick, waiting for the head of the dragon to come closer, Adrian smashed down the brick!

Bonk!

When the brick struck the dragon, it immediately stopped and went into a daze. It's eyes spun in circles as though it was being hypnotize.

"A chance!" Adrian used this time when the dragon was in a daze to move back. Although the dragon only went into a daze for 2 seconds, it more than enough time for Adrian to move back several hundreds of meters.

Adrian stared at the brick and pondered. When the beast charged at him again, he struck it with the brick and it immediately went into a daze again.

"T-This...," Adrian stuttered. "Could it be? Could it be that this brick... has a stun effect?"

No, it couldn't be! When Adrian first touched the brick, all he noticed was that the brick was just like any red brick, plain and simple. It had no magical enchantment nor was made from any divine material. It was just made out of clay and the only thing it could be enchanted with was dust and dirt.

The only other logical answer would be...

"No way, the [Ultimate Brick] Secret Art!?" Although he had great doubt, the more he thought about it, the more Adrian was convinced.

The crazy old man told him that as long as he reach the small success stage, with "Revolving Core" level power, he could easily defeat those of the Divine Sea realm and below. Now he understood.

Whether it were battles between Immortals or between martial artists, the battles that they fought were extremely fast. Even a second was considered slow for these figures.

With the ability to stun his opponent as he wish for 2 seconds with a brick smack, in the span of those dazed time, he could easily send dozens of attacks at opponents or travel several hundreds of meters away from them and those numbers were only because of his current power! If he was more powerful, the numbers of attack he could do or distances he could travel would increase dramatically!

Better yet, in the time span of two seconds, he could deliver a deadly blow and kill his opponent!

The old man was right! This technique is overpowered as f*ck!

As all of these thoughts were going through Adrian's head, he spent every second smacking the dragon. At some point in time, his nerves were relaxed and now he was performing a few experiment. He found out that no matter where he hit, for the target to be stunned, they had to be struck on the head.

He also found out that the stun effect would reset after the time he would smash the head. Much to his disappointment, that means that the stun effect can't be stacked.

Once he ran out of ideas, Adrian send a lotus of fire into the dragon's stomach. The fire lotus expanded in the dragon's body and then transformed it into a pile of blood and gore. Then, the fire lotus burned away most of the blood before it dematerialize.

Adrian looked at the corpse of the dragon and bowed slightly. "Thank you for being my 'science' partner. Your sacrifices will not be in vain. Now then, these horns..."

Just as Adrian was about to grab the head of the Red Crown Horned Dragon, an abruptly loud voice from above sent shivers down his spine.

"Disciple, where are you?"
