Chapter 3: Don't Make This A Timeskip Now! It's Only Been Three Chapters!

Before and after becoming a Xiantian lifeform in both body and ki, Adrian cultivated in fire-type daos and ice-type daos. When one cultivated the [Divine Asura Idol], that person would usually gained minor insights and affinity to certain elements.

The beginning stages of the [Divine Asura Idol] involved creating divine tattoos that were divided into three tiers. At the third tier, one would have affinity to one element, at the second tier one could have the potential to control two elements, and at the first tier it would be three elements.

He created his tattoos a year ago and managed to get a second tier divine tattoo with the affinity to fire-type and ice-type daos. That was primarily because he created the tattoos during a spar between his parents. His father emanated fire energy while his mother used ice energy. He silently absorbed them to form the second tier divine tattoo of fire and ice.

Since then, Adrian mainly focused on cultivating fire-type daos and ice-type daos. Even when he broke through to become a Xiantian lifeform, the elements of fire and ice was exactly what reformed his body. Now, his body was reformed once again with fire and ice along with the green mist.

Adrian sat within a sea of flames while icy clouds floated above his head. Two lotuses, one of ice and the other of fire were also spinning around him.

He opened his eyes, revealing heterochromic eyes. His left eye was white-blue in color while the right eye was golden-red in color. Those eyes were like the radiant golden sun and the beautiful azure moon, but within those colorful pupils were complex diagrams and runes. They were part of the runes of his divine tattoos. When he entered Xiantian, his eyes changed colors; colors of that symbolized fire and ice.

Although they were beautiful and were now his true eye colors, Adrian willed his eyes to become black again. This was to hide the runes in his eyes and also to conceal his true power.

Sighing while also smiling, Adrian left his room and decided to walk around his father's manor.

.....

He walked around for three full hours before deciding to "rest" near a lotus pond. He leaned against a tree and watched the lotus on the pond.

Some servants spotted him and whispered and gossiped amongst themselves. Though he was only five, Adrian had a glossy long black hair and equally pleasing eyes. He also had the noble and warm aura just like his father, but his face resembled more like his mother's.

Sitting there, Adrian's appearance was no different than a child from a noble family or a little prince of royalty.

Although the servants were staring at him intently, Adrian's mind was wandering off to somewhere else. During times when he didn't felt like ki or body refining, he would spent time with the [Realm of the Heart] and practice his heartforce.

The [Realm of the Heart] was a strange method to cultivate heartforce as it requires one to train by looking at nature. The plants, the water, the lakes, the rivers, the mountains, the seas, the land, the sky, the animals, the trees, the forests, the hills, the landscape, and even insects.

They were all a part of nature and every slight movement was a new scenery. Every new scenery, when added together, could create something like a film. This film was called nature.

Adrian immersed himself into the [Realm of the Heart] and slowly his heartforce was completely centered onto the lotus. He felt his heart becoming like a lotus and the lotus was becoming something like his heart. This feeling went on and on and on.

Soon, Adrian awakened to the sound of maid calling for him.

"Third Young Master, Third Young Master!" The maid called out.

"Is there something to matter?" Adrian retracted his heartforce.

"The Grand Patriarch has called for you, young master."

"Gramps need me?" Adrian nodded at the maid and made haste to the clan hall.

.....

The Tang Clan's clan hall was located atop Westwind Mountain. It was built like a monastery and even had golden statues of deities standing tall and proud, overlooking the mountains from above like guardians.

When Adrian entered through the opened doors of the clan hall, there were already dozens of people there.

There were his uncles, aunts, parents, cousins, and various servants. However, they were all sitting at the sides on mattresses, forming two lines.

At the end, but in between these two lines were three people who sat on meditative mats.

On the left was a middle age woman who had black hair tied into a bun. She wore a long robe over servant clothes. Although that was the case and many people sometimes mistaken her as a servant, she is fact the Vice-Matriarch of the Tang Clan, Adrian's grand-aunt, and the Grand Patriarch's younger sister: Tang Bingtian.

On the right was a large and muscular young man whose hair was just like everyone else in the Tang Clan, but his eyes were concealed by white bandages; a clear sign that he was blind. This man was the Vice-Patriarch of the Tang Clan and the Grand Patriarch and Vice-Matriarch's younger brother, Tang Xiaotian.

Finally, in the middle sat a middle aged, black-bearded man who was handsome and valiant in appearance. He look just like a general of an army; large, strong, and heroic. This was the Grand Patriarch of the Tang Clan and Adrian's grandfather: Tang Haotian.

These three figures were the great founders of the Tang Clan. Despite the clan being "young", it was one of the top three clans in the Cloudsea Country.

This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.

"San'er." Tang Haotian looked at his third grandson with adoration. "I didn't believe it at first, but now that you're in front of me, I can see that your true essence has reached the Xiantian-level."

Adrian only nodded his head.

"Hah...the speed of your improvement is very good and you will definitely be a powerhouse in the future. Even in the Divine Realm, your speed is quite fast." His grandfather smiled then frowned slightly. "However, your speed is too quick! In the lower realms, your cultivation speed would shock countless worlds!"

"Throughout the years, there has been fourteen assassination attempts targeted at you. All of them were from three different clans and sects; two clans from the Cloudsea Country and one enemy sect in another country. We eliminated them already, but if news of your achievement today were to be heard, there will definitely be more assassination attempts and most likely from higher-tier organizations as well."

Seeing Adrian's shocked face, the Grand Patriarch smiled in his heart. "To protect you, the clan has decided for you to stay in the clan for four years! Here, we will give you any resources, techniques, items, and cultivation manuals that you want and need. At same time..."

He glanced at his younger brother, the Vice-Patriarch. "Your grand-uncle will teach be teaching and monitoring you during those times, okay?"

Although this sounded great to anybody, to some kids who were generally excited and playful, they would definitely disagree and throw a tantrum. However, our protagonist wasn't some brat.

"Yes, grandfather." Adrian nodded while smiling. If he had access to as much resources as he want, he could breakthrough much easier. Ever since he started cultivating, the only 'cultivation resource' he ever got was the fire and ice energy from his father and mother's spar. If he had actually treasures and items, he would have the power to ascend to the heavens! Or the Divine Realm, as they called it here.

"Ah, you agreed?" Tang Haotian blanked. "Uh...yes, Xiaotian, go bring back him back to your place. Training starts today. Dismiss!"

Everyone left the hall and Tang Haotian sat there while humming and drinking tea.

The reason why Tang Haotian was stunned was because most kids wouldn't do this kind of thing. Cultivation was an extremely boring thing to do and most kids don't actually start cultivating until nine or thirteen years old. It was extremely rare for five years old to cultivate, much less Adrian who started at four!

Reaching Xiantian at the age of five and cultivating for only a year. Even the Tang Haotian only reached Xiantian at the age of thirteen and Tang Huotian, his second son and greatest talent of the Tang Clan's second generation, reached Xiantian at age nine. Although their talents were great, compared to Adrian...

"Hah...never thought this kid would agree. I was expecting to have to use this candy and bribe him, but looks like he's pretty smart." Tang Haotian took out a chocolate ball and gave it a look. After humming for a moment, he threw the chocolate in his mouth and ate it.

.....

On the west side of Westwind Mountain, in Vice-Patriarch Tang Xiaotian's training hall.

The Vice-Patriarch and Adrian were sitting in front of a golden statue that had a fierce expression and herculean shape. The moment the Vice-Patriarch took him here, all he said was to sit and meditate.

Adrian opened his right eye and took a peek at his blind grand-uncle. In truth, the Vice-Patriarch once did have eyes. However, to train in a secret art, he voluntarily took out his eyes and blinded himself. Once he did that, the young Vice-Patriarch from back then exploded in power and was given the badass title of "Blind Asura."

The Blind Asura has retired from the scene and spends his days cultivating peacefully. However, this was only a half of the truth. In reality, while the outside thinks that Tang Xiaotian is a solitary figure, he is in fact the sole trainer for the younger generation of the Tang Clan. This man single handedly refined the second generation of the Tang Clan and unleased their talents!

It could be said that without the Vice-Patriarch, Adrian's father, uncles, and aunts’ generation wouldn't be as strong as they are today. Of course, they had masters and other teachers, but Tang Xiaotian built their foundation.

Now, this low-key, but wise master was going to teach him today.

As though he could sense Adrian's stare, the Vice-Patriarch smiled and said, "San'er, do know why the Grand Patriarch wanted for me to train you?"

Adrian shook his head, but thought in his head, "So I can become OP and use this training period as an excuse for a timeskip, right?"

"Every month, you are allowed one week of free time and any other days, you will learn and cultivate under me, got it?"

"Yes, sir!" Adrian's eyes burned with passion.

The Vice-Patriarch thought to himself, "He's just like his father..."

"Okay then, we are going to start now."

"Huh?" The Vice-Patriarch lifted him up and threw him towards the golden statue. His body sunk into the statue as though it was water and he landed on mysterious grounds.

Adrian looked around and saw numerous golden statues like the one in his grand-uncle's training hall, but the only difference was that all of them had red eyes.

"Grand-Uncle, this is..."

"This is a separate dimension called the Fierce Deity Realm; I named and created it myself. Here, you must fight all one hundred statues within four years." The Vice-Patriarch's voice rang from above. "All of these statues are of my creation and I suppress their power to only be at the Houtian level for now. Once you defeat ten, I'll increase all of them to be at the Xiantian level. Once you defeat ninety in total, I'll increase the difficulty to the Revolving Core level."

Ignoring the sweaty and scared looking Adrian, the Vice-Patriarch continued. "You may spend as much time as you wish, but you have to be able to beat them all within four years. You managed to reach Xiantian within one year of cultivation so the clan has high hope for you to possibly reach the Revolving Core realm or even Life-Destruction realm during this period. Of course, if you do, the difficulty would go up. Hahaha..."

"F*ck!" Adrian roared in his heart and immediately felt like he was set up. Even if he was a genius, minus the fact that he has the multiple memories from Immortals, he was still an ordinary guy and still five years old right now. "This is abuse, child abuse!"

But what else could be expected from the Blind Asura, a man who blinded himself just for power?

What Adrian didn't know was that the second generation of the Tang Clan, including his father, were currently sweating and some even had tears in their eyes as they pray for Adrian's health.

They were once trained by the Blind Asura as well and they knew that the training he giving to Adrian was much harder than the one he gave to them in the past. Some of them shuddered and immediately went into deep thoughts.

.....

Back in the Fierce Deity Realm, Adrian was currently fighting one statue right now.

He clenched his fist and the statue was knocked back onto the ground.

"Whew."

"Not bad." The Vice-Patriarch said. "Seeing that you're not tired, go fight the second one now."

Another statue smashed into Adrian and he was knocked far away. He would then come back up and battle the statue. This type of scene continued until he was tired. The Vice-Patriarch would bring him back to the real world, teach him a technique and give an advice or two and returned him back to the dimension. This went on continuously.

Day by day, month by month, year by year. Time flashed as Adrian continue to train under the Vice-Patriarch.

"Wait, don't make this a timeskip now! It's only been three chapters! I haven't even decided if I like this story and want to be its prota-"

.....

And so, four years passed as Adrian walked out of the Vice-Patriarch's training hall and took a deep breathe in. Then, he suddenly went on one knee and raised both of his arms up.

"I can finally see light. Praise! Praise the sun and all of its glory! I'm finally free, b*tches!"
