AURORA STORMBRINGER POV

Oh, dear me! I'm in quite the predicament, and the gravity of the situation has me feeling all sorts of emotions. Horror, despair, and dismay all bubble up inside me, threatening to spill over at any moment. You see, I thought I had it all figured out. I made a conscious decision to relinquish control of my destiny to the other version of myself, the one that's both different and yet similar, believing that it would guide me safely through it all. I trusted in the unpredictable side of my nature.

But now, as I look around at my current circumstances, I can't help but wonder if I made a mistake. Maybe I should have held onto the reins a little tighter, and guided myself toward a more stable and predictable path. Or perhaps, I simply misjudged the other version of myself. Maybe I overestimated its abilities and underestimated its flaws.

just when things were looking up, life decided to take a sharp turn and toss me into the deep end of a nightmare I couldn't have conjured up in my wildest dreams! It's like reality itself decided to do the limbo under a chainsaw and I'm stuck in the middle of the madness, totally lost and helpless. How could I have been so blind to not see the chaos brewing under my nose?

The misery and affliction I am being subjected to are just too much to bear! The excruciating torment of feeling helpless and unable to alter the inevitable outcome. All I can do is hold on tight and pray to the heavens that I'll make it through this rough patch unharmed. It's like a cosmic joke, a never-ending horror that I can't seem to shake off. It's worse than getting chased by a swarm of bees or being stuck in traffic for hours on end.

I went on a rant, unleashing a verbal storm of utter nonsense! I declared that our time has come, that we must make our mark on the world stage! I boasted about our military might, and even floated the idea of taking over this planet! But let's be real, these wild and crazy ideas are as insane as a three-headed unicorn. My mind can't even begin to comprehend the insane amount of work and effort it would take to accomplish such a lofty goal.

Currently, my crew and I are gathered around a colossal round table fit for a king's feast (or at least a moderately large gathering). And let me tell you, my underlings are bouncing off the walls with glee! They're grinning from ear to ear like they just won the lottery, and their energy is so high I'm surprised they're not floating off their chairs. As the fearless leader of this wild bunch, all eyes are on me, the anticipation is palpable. These guys are hanging onto my every word like it's the last slice of pizza at a party. But what's really got me going is the electric buzz of excitement radiating from my team.

"Before we delve into global affairs, I must clarify my stance. Let it be known that I harbor no intention of subjugating the nations that exist in this unfamiliar world. I have no desire to expand our territorial reach beyond what it already encompasses. My aim is simply to introduce ourselves to them." I begin the 'I'd rather be anywhere else than in this meeting' meeting.

"Indeed, It would hardly be an enjoyable affair to rally our military might for a world as feeble as this," Lyra is the first to speak.

"Should we adopt that very tactic, the world would succumb to our power in a mere day, and without any significant hindrance," uttered Eira, her words dripping with confidence. "Thus, I comprehend your position entirely, your majesty, for your astute mind perceives what it takes to achieve greatness."

As I scanned my comrades, their eyes gleaming with enthusiasm for the impending future, a deafening scream echoed through my head. My emotions churned like a wild storm, leaving me struggling to process the gravity of the situation before me. The thought of unleashing such devastating violence on another went against all logic and decency. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion, and I couldn't look away from the horror unfolding before my eyes.

Oh boy, my heart felt like a sack of rocks when I remembered that I might have had a hand in shaping their minds and personalities. Did I screw up and forget to implant in them the values of peace, empathy, and all that good stuff? Did I accidentally plant the seeds of violence and destruction instead? My mind was racing with these thoughts, and I was left feeling totally confused and bewildered.

"Agreed. So, where precisely do you all suggest we initiate our first encounter?" I inquire, my curiosity piqued. The once lively and spirited atmosphere of the room was instantaneously silenced by a sudden stillness that followed the moment my words departed from my mouth. The sounds of chattering and laughter that had previously filled the air were abruptly extinguished, as if by some unseen force.

"Your Majesty," Draven spoke with confidence, "rest assured that the blueprint has been meticulously laid out."

"Verily, Her Majesty hath withdrawn for a considerable span," Thorne remarked, "Providing us with abundant occasion to order matters as deemed fit, by royal decree."

"We had decided on the nearest country, and from there, charted our course," Magnus concluded.

Elara gracefully extended her slender hand as a glimmering and radiant hologram began to materialize in front of us, its luminescent beauty immediately captivating our senses. The dazzling projection displayed a cartographic representation of the nearest nation to our continental realm, offering an awe-inspiring glimpse into the world beyond our own. Despite the enormity of the planet we inhabit, it was surprising to see that the cartographic image portrayed an islet of modest proportions. This small patch of land, seemingly insignificant in comparison to the colossal land masses that dominate the globe.

"Our plan entails dispatching diplomats to establish communication with the leaders of this nation." Elara's fingers danced across the holographic map, conjuring up a world that seemed to belong to a bygone era. A nation emerged, its landscape dotted with sprawling castles and quaint villages, and its people dressed in clothing that spoke of a simpler time.

She gestured towards the map, and the image zoomed in, revealing more details of the medieval kingdom. From the bustling marketplace in the town square to the imposing fortifications of the royal castle, every inch of the nation was steeped in history and mystery.

"Is it that none of you will be attending in person?" I inquired with a hint of curiosity.

"Assuredly not, Your Majesty. It would be beneath our station to attend in their place," Thorne declared with utmost respect.

"I understand, so it seems that accompanying them wouldn't pose any issue," I remarked.

Tick tock, tick tock. Suddenly, the room went as quiet as a mouse. It was like someone hit the mute button on the world, leaving us in a surreal, almost spooky silence. Everyone's gaze turned towards me, like I was the star of a dramatic movie. The way they looked at me was so intense, it felt like they were trying to bore holes through my skull with their eyes. The weight of their stares was so heavy that I could almost feel it physically pressing down on my shoulders.

It was a scene straight out of a drama series! The air was so thick with emotions, you could practically cut it with a knife. All eyes were on me, and boy, were the expressions on their faces a sight to behold! Some were staring at me with jaws dropped so low, you could hear a pin drop. It was as if they couldn't believe their eyes or ears, and I almost had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Others looked like they were trying to decipher some kind of secret code, with their brows furrowed so deeply, they might as well have been doing calculus. They were definitely scratching their heads trying to make sense of the situation.

But wait, there's more! There were still others whose faces were a mix of different emotions, like a complicated cocktail. One part surprise, one part confusion, a dash of curiosity, and just a hint of suspicion. It was an extraordinary moment that had everyone in the room captivated. The energy was palpable and the air was electric. I felt like I was in the middle of a whirlwind of emotions, with every single person around me experiencing something unique.

"I-It would be preposterous beyond measure for your Majesty to personally visit a feeble, weak, and undeveloped nation. The mere act of Her Highness setting foot on their soil would be far too great for them to bear," Lyra broke the silence.

"Truth be told, Your Highness," Draven spoke up, "Lyra's words ring with unwavering veracity."

Well, well, well, it seems like I'm stuck in a fancy birdcage, barred from the outside world like a precious jewel. I mean, seriously, they act like I'm made of the finest porcelain, afraid to even look in my direction in case I break into a million pieces. I don't know about you, but being treated like a museum artifact is getting old real fast. How much longer do I have to endure being an untouchable, unviewable gem? It's time to spread my wings and fly free like the majestic bird I am!

At first it felt pretty good being treated like a superstar with people worshipping my every move. But now, I'm suffocating in this sea of adoration. I crave adventure, spontaneity, and some unpredictability in my life. But how in the world am I supposed to get that if everyone around me is too chicken to let me out of their sight? Come on, people, give me some breathing room!

"Please, do not worry yourselves unduly," I declare, seeking only to sate my inquisitive nature. "If any of you harbor concerns for my well-being, they are quite unnecessary. You all understand better than anyone else the extent of my strength and resilience."

"Undoubtedly, though..."

"Nay, my stance has been taken and it shall remain unchanged," I declared firmly. Just as Gwyneth was about to chime in with her two cents, I ninja-ed my way in and slammed the door shut on her thoughts, halting any further words from escaping her lips.

"Should her Highness so desire, let it be accomplished," Thalia uttered with a respectful bow.

The poor souls were backed into a corner and had to swallow their objections and give in to the proposal laid out before them. It wasn't exactly a voluntary agreement, mind you - they were more or less coerced into concurring with the plan, lest they incur the wrath of their fearsome ruler.
