Chapter 673

Grace was at a loss for words.

Brian held her hand and left. He was very eager to buy her a ring.

"Brian. Why don't we talk about buying the ring when we get back? Do you have money to buy it now?" Upon hearing her words, Brian stopped in his tracks. He thought about it seriously and nodded. "Alright, then I'll have to keep you waiting and make you feel wronged for some time."

Grace pursed her lips. "Don't be silly. I don't feel wronged. I'm more than happy to be with you. It doesn't matter even if I don't have a ring."

Brian looked at her blankly.

Grace was also shocked by her own words. Jesus Christ, what exactly was she talking about?

Brian looked at her with stars sparkling in his eyes. A gentle smile appeared on his lips. He held her hand and asked, "Honey, did you mean it?"

Grace bit her lip, feeling herself in a difficult position. In the end, she braced herself and nodded. "Yes, of course, I did."

He leaned over and hugged her. As if exclaiming, he whispered in her ear, "I love you."

Grace's heart trembled.

After returning to the hospital, Grace called again, but there was still no answer.

The next day, the doctor came to examine Brian.

"The blood clot in the patient's skull is slowly disappearing. His condition will be quite stable soon. You can take him out for a walk or exercise.

When Grace heard the good news, she smiled happily.

After the doctor left, she asked Brian, "The doctor said that your illness had improved and I could take you out to play. Where do you want to go?"

"As long as I'm with you, anywhere is fine," answered Brian.

Grace's face heated up under his burning gaze.

"Then... then let's go and visit the fisherman who saved us. Anyway, we'll return to Capern City in two days."

Brian had no objections and nodded obediently.

The middle-aged fisherman was collecting peanuts in the fields and pushing a cart to transport a cart full of peanuts home.

The little girl was also wearing a straw hat and pulling peanuts in the field.

When the fisherman saw the two of them, he revealed a simple smile. "Miss, why are you here again? Why haven't you returned to Capern City yet?"

"We're here to see you. We plan to go back in two days." Grace bought a lot of gifts and handed them to the fisherman.

The fisherman wiped the dirt from

his hands on his clothes and carefully, took the gifts from her. "Miss, thanks a lot. You shouldn't have brought so many gifts.

"I'm really ashamed. I don't have much money on me, so I can only buy some small gifts for the child," explained Grace.

The fisherman's swarthy face creased with a smile. "You're too kind. Sweetie, come and guide the guests back to the house for coffee."

"Don't bother, sir!" Grace hurriedly said, "Since you're so busy, I won't hold you up. How about this? I'll help you collect the peanuts."

"How can I do that? The farm work is too dirty. Come on. Go back to the house to rest."

Grace smiled and said, "It's fine. I did these chores when I was young. You saved my life, and I don't have anything to repay you now."

As Grace spoke, she rolled up her sleeves and went to the field to pull the peanuts.

Brian stood at the side. He looked down at his muddy shoes and then at Grace.

Grace remembered that Brian was

at the side. Just as she was about to

tell go back and rest, she saw

him

into the field and bend

down to work.

She was shocked.

Even though he had lost his memory, and his intelligence had reduced to seven or eight years old, he was still so outstanding. It made Grace feel that doing farm work was a waste of his talent and looks.
