Two good friends converse on daily life. Damien is a workaholic whose projects often interfere with his relationships. Aevum is quite the opposite, more compassionate if not very smart. Aevum is a loyalist, completely infiltrated with national propaganda. Damien becomes suspicious of others supposedly spying on him.
