Cole Family Compound.
Underneath the central part of the family compound, was a large area that only a select few within the family could access. It was a large underground warehouse a few kilometers in area. The roof was a hundred meters high.
Despite the fact that there was so much space in this cement laden space, only a small portion of that space was actually under use. Kenshin and co had already taken action; Bastian couldn't be left behind in the process now would he?
At the center of the warehouse was a ball of light the size of dishwasher. It was a spherical orb of energy that floated a meter above ground. All the colors of the rainbow filtered across it's watery like surface creating a psychedelic effect that could entrance ones visions
Anyone who was a cultivator could feel the incredible amount of World Energy coming from that energy orb. But Bastian was different, at least his eyes were.
The Orb was surrounded by countless magic circles, runes and matrix. It was a truly marvelous sight. One that Bastian never got tired off.
'The Coles went to a serious extent to hide this; alas it couldn't hide from my e vision.'
Bastian was jubilant at the moment but didn't show on his face. Although he was still uncomfortable with what happened earlier but there was nothing he could do.
'That doesn't change the fact that my mind is still fractured but I can still do whatever I want. Including tinkering with this hehe.'
E vision was in full swing as Bastian moved around the energy orb. His fingers were the brushes and the orb the canvas. Line after line after line of incredible complex symbols were being drawn by Bastian onto the orb with incredible precision.
Even if one was a complete amateur in knowledge of spells, it was clear that Bastian was up to something complex yet orderly.
Sula and a woman wearing white robes, in other words, one of Tino's Sisters, were observing Bastian at work.
'I can't believe that we are actually working with the legendary Falsified Daughters. But he is even more of an oddity.'
Sula shifted her gazed back at Bastian. The latter was now looking at the ground with a look of wonder mixed in with a frown of what seems to be comprehension.
'What is he doing, can he see the enchantment spells on the ground? But that's not possible. Someone in the Foundation Realm shouldn't be able to sense energy lines yet. What is up to?'

Sula wasn't the only one who was observing Bastian. The Falsified Daughter was looking at Bastian with incredible curiosity.
'I underestimated this boy. He is a strategic prodigy. He was born for war.'
The Falsified Daughter in white was lost in her own thoughts as well.
'Tino and the other sisters have drastically underestimated him. Once this incident is through I need to make sure I properly report on what I have seen to Prince Tendai...'
Sula noticed the white robed woman's interest and came up with musings of her own.
'Before they arrived here, Bastian and Phantasma went to meet Bastian's Master. What on earth happened during the meeting?'
Sula remembered that yesterday, when the plan was finalized and everyone was making preparations, the woman, Phantasma, was introduced to the crew as the one who will be by Bastian's side most of the side. Tino was assigned to Kenshin and Mirage to Guy. Phantasma Mirage and Tino were the most skilled among the falsified sisters. This was all Sula knew at this point.
She expected that Bastian would have had the strongest and most capable Falsified Daughter, Tino, by his side. Yet the man chose Phantasma instead. Phantasma was below Tino in stature, but her gaze contained the most disdain.
Every time she looked at Sula, she made the latter feel somewhat insecure. Sula was incredibly beautiful, wealthy and talented; hence she was not accustomed to having such feelings.
When Phantasma was first introduced her eyes were filled with unveiled scorn. She clearly looked down upon Bastian and co. But she did not see the name of the Falsified Daughters. She did her work diligently and was incredibly skilled. What bothered Sula was that the way Phantasma looked at Bastian had changed.
The gaze she had toward Bastian now carried a Hint of respect and fear. This was no ordinary respect. This was respect for the strong.
Sula was no stranger to the battlefield; hence she had learned quite a bit herself during her time in the Great Desert of Shandelar. She knew the gaze those had to the strong. She had seen such a gaze given to her and Sula by the soldiers of the Flaming Winds Army. Another reason Phantasma pulled Sula's attention was her mysterious disposition.
Most of Phantasma's face was hidden beneath a white scarf with only her eyes being visible. Phantasma had dark brown skin and odd moon grey eyes that had small piercing black pupils. Even though only her eyes and the bridge of her nose was visible, there was no doubt she was a beauty, just like her other sisters.
'She thinks she is superior just because she is from the Thunder Tiger Empire. Wait until she learns who is backing us.' Sula cast one last side glance at Phantasma before focusing once more on Bastian.
Bastian ignored the looks from the two women and focused on his work
"Incredible, to think this little thing was able to hold Kitrid and his entire army in there." Mumbled Bastian as he stood up. Bastian speaking was an indicator that he was done with what he was doing so Sula took the opportunity to try to regain some face for herself and her clan.
She flung her hair sideways and said, "Of course. This is a genuine portable pocket dimension. Capable of storing living and none living organisms of any type. You can fit an entire city into that space. If we had more resources to feed it and expand it, it could even become bigger than Yani City itself!"
Pocket dimensions were a type of folded space that could store living and none living things. There were different types with different functions. For example, most could only hold none living things. The next type were ones where the time within the space was adjustable. The most expensive type were the kind that could hold life, like the orb in front of the trio.
Kitrid and his troops were a group of orphans that we're systematically recruited outside and trained secretly within the Pocket Dimension. Using their long Range teleportation, the Cole Family would find war orphans with decent talent and recruit them into their fold. They would be placed in the Pocket Dimension and trained there.
The more capable and trustworthy ones were allowed to leave the compound and masquerade as Cole family guards. Soldiers such as Kitrid and Meera we're already quite familiar with Yani City. But the others spent most of their lives in the small training city that exists in the isolated space within the pocket dimension.

"I don't understand how he was able to analyze the Orb so easily. To be able to analyze a spell matrix and directly imprint his own energy on a complete matrix. How is he doing this?"
