Jie returned back to his master’s residence.
The Tiandi School Master was as still, he didn’t look back just grunted as if to say, ‘good job, you barely made it in time’.
Jie approached his master, and just moved into the lotus position. The Tiandi School master began slowly, ‘Jie, you’ve made it to the third star rank, your capabilities far outstrip this current small world. Such a talent has blossomed in such a small world. Even in the inner conclave of planets a sage master’s rise is extremely rare. Do you... know what a sage master is?’ when he finished speaking, the Tiandi Master looked intriguingly at Jie.
‘I don’t know much about it, but from what I know master, from what you told me that is. It’s a Martial Artist who is able to combine two elements together, utilise two separate elements to bring forth much greater power to amplify one’s own body.
However, the rarity of such a user, you said would number in the 10’s of thousands even throughout the whole galaxy...’
‘Aye. Part of that is true. In actuality there is more than one way to become a sage master. You don’t have be born with double seeds. There are more malicious ways of attaining the title of ‘sage master’ with a thought the Tiandi School Master looked a little sad at such a notion. Jie interjected caught in the moment of talking of great power his adrenaline was pumping throughout his body. ‘Yes master, the other way to kill opposing martial artists and absorb their seeds. However... you said such a sage master is a failure, and will never attain a true sage master’s power or capabilities of moulding both elements together?’ Jie finished his words with curiosity on his face.
‘Aye... Aye that is what I said. The true amount of sage master’s in this universe numbers in the thousands.’ Jie jumped at the notion, ‘only a thousand!? So master... then me! I am a true sage master?’ The notion of being in the top one thousands of power houses was truly too tempting. Even for a child who has been training his heart and mind since little of age to become a true master.
‘Yes. It is true. When I first touched your seed and inspected your body I was truly astounded. The reason why such bodies are rare is because they drive too much power from the world to create such magnificent seeds and power. If too much of these seeds are born the world would be unbalanced.’ The Tiandi master looked back at Jie, then he slowly raised his head to the sky and continued, ‘Jie there is also more approachable methods to become a sage master or something of a similar calibre which the united nations martial arts federation has been trying to achieve for quite some time now and they have made amazing progress on that path... however to me if that power is not yours then it is impure and isn’t natural and will upset the balance of the world even more. Jie looked much more lost in thought at what was said. Jie, trying to calculate and understand the world on a greater spectrum. But how could he? He has only seen this small planet and nothing else.
‘Let us not get carried away by such magnificent notions. Let’s focus on what is before us. You have already reached the 3rd stage of the Tianshang Jiang. I have already provided you with the later stages of the breathing technique, and a few of my clan’s secret techniques. I am not able to pass everything to you, as the Tiandi clan is a major clan and requires greater efforts to become a core member. But with your abilities that shouldn’t be too difficult, and not to mention you are my direct disciple.’
Jie suddenly had a thought and asked, ‘Master, I have always trained, fed and lived with you. But you never spoke of why you, who seems to suppress all other masters of this planet, lives on such a small planet. If I was to guess, I wouldn’t dare say you are lower than a clan master...’ Maybe he overstepped, but Jie wanted to learn more of the Tiandi School.
‘um, it could be said. Once I was the true leader of the Tiandi School. I gave it all up though, I was carried away by power once and sought to do something I should never have. It affected my heart and my martial arts. Now I am cursed forever to give into hatred and pain.’ As he said so, his face was filled with resentment. Jie had wanted to say something, but to cheer up a man with such deep pain would be fruitless. Better they both swallow the pain together, as he thought so he put his hand on his master’s shoulder.
‘Haha. But you came along Jie, once the Martial Arts convoy comes to greet me, and the Iron Body School arrive. I will arrange for you to be taken to the next sector, to continue your training without any problems. There will be no need for you to look or be selected by any other schools as the Tiandi School is already the greatest. Under their tutelage you will excel further than anybody...’
Jie turned slowly, to look at his master, he sounded out in a low volume, ‘so, will you be coming with me master?’ The tiandi school master looked at the ground, the ground was crystal clear without a spec of dirt or dust. Images played out slowly atop the stones. Images of the past seven years, a kid growing up unable to understand martial arts, slowly eclipsing his own master. Images of love and life filled his mind...

‘Master master! Looook at this ball of wind hehehehehe, now I can fight you!’ ... ‘great, great Jie my boy!’ slowly he was being lost to it.
‘Master prepare yourself for the canon!’
‘Hold on you darn fool don’t splash the water on me, its super cold!’
‘Arrgh to late! God dammed....’
‘Hahahahahahaha....’ Voices of fun and playfulness flooded throughout his mind.
A little while later, ‘Master?’ The sudden call awoke the Tiandi School Master.
‘Aye Jie, I am still alive an’ kickin’. Ha. No I must say, I can’t go back, I don’t have the desire nor will to go back to such a chaotic scene. It will only add fire to the fuel. I think, I will farther one more child and die a happy man. Maybe I’ll even name my child Jie... haha wouldn’t that be amazing, so even after you leave I will still get to speak and train with you...’
Jie looked back at his master, he didn’t have anything to say. Listening to his master expound on Martial Arts was what he liked the most... but maybe he should have talked a bit more with this man he came to love and learn more about him. He had come to understand he knew very little of him, so he asked as a question sparked up in his mind. ‘Master. If I am to not see you again for a very long time, would you mind telling me your name... I know you once said you feel shame carrying this name, but to I Jie, my master’s name is my honour.’
A gaze flickered of deep love in the Tiandi School Master’s eyes, it was a gaze of love and pride. Such a student had been brought up by him, he said with pride ‘It is Heiran... Heiran Tiantang.’
Student and master, sat in the courtyard quietly. Nothing able to affect them.
A chaotic air filled the lower region of the planet, winds raged and the sky burned. The ground glistening with crystals lit up the ground rummaging of the night sky making it look even more spectacular.
Leiming sat atop Ban Ban, in the lotus position trying to recover from his miserable state. Chihong of the side, was giving cautious looks to Wenrou, with a hint of maliciousness contained in her eyes. She kept thinking ‘I was only in battle for a mere five minutes, how could a boy who hasn’t practiced martial artist injure Lei?!’
Wenrou’s whole body still looked strained. The grunting sounds coming forth from him was extremely unsettling. Neither Chihong nor Leiming knew what was exactly going on. However, deep inside Wenrou’s mind a turmoil of pain and darkness was taking place.
A darkness surrounded him, in the distance twelve seats stood alone. He tried to move closer to no avail.
A hand moved from behind pulling him further back!
He looks up he sees a black mass burning the world!
He didn’t know why. Only he was there, only he stood in it’s way only he could stop it! But why him? ‘Why me?’
He looked down, but nothing. It’s empty.
He chooses not to fight it! He drops his guard.
The fiery mass eclipses him!
He died, burnt to ash! Nothing left. Just darkness.
‘Arrgh! Master!’ Wenrou woke up from his deep slumber panting and coughing. ‘This feeling! The world it’s changed?! How?! Why is it so hot, why does the ground feel so wet, what is this noise it’s so loud!?’ Master, my eyes it’s so bright! What’s going on!?’
Wenrou awoke from confusion into confusion. What we’re those images he saw? Never mind that, Wenrou didn’t understand this change that happened to him. The world had changed over night. He felt something surging inside him, like a swirling hunger, deep chains attached to his body locking him to this world. He felt extremely strange, yet extremely satisfying at the same time. What was this change? The world was filled with brighter, vibrant colors. The wind felt gentler, yet felt like he could let it take him to greater places. Everything changed, his perception had increased.
Leiming noticed the strange looks on Wnerou’s face. The motion of his hands the position of his body. Wenrou slowly discovered the acute changes all around his body. Leiming looked at him smilingly he waved his hand to get Wenrou’s attention, ‘your body has now felt the movement of Qi, it would be strange to see or feel the world as you did earlier. There is so many minute changes taking place upon your body that the world before was, how can I put it? Dull, void of colors. Now Qi is making you feel ecstasy, everything is changing for your body. Doyou feel that rush in your body?’
‘I.. I do, it feels so great. I feel so powerful like I could crush rocks with my bare hand! This feeling is amazing’ Wenrou could only stare at amazement his body felt so elated, so jubilant his cells his skin was undergoing extreme changes every second.
