New World Order - Chapter 21: Vision of Tomorrow

In his reverie, Dannish heard his own heartbeat. What's the matter? Where is this? Too dark! He did not see any light. Is this real or a dream? Dannish staggered away. He was like a blind man who forgot his cane. His hands stretched out in front of him, groping the void. He walked slowly. Dan couldn't see anything, just darkness before his eyes. Suddenly, a "bang" sound, in front of his eyes, in the distance, a pillar of light shines from above. Dannish felt like he was in an underground passage, and that light was an exit. Dan felt a glimmer of hope. He always thought he would be locked in here forever. He quickly ran over, clinging to that light of hope. But the closer he ran, the more unwell he felt. Getting closer, Dan heard strange sounds. His footsteps suddenly slowed down. Is that the sound of battle? Dannish stopped walking, something in him hesitated. He hesitated, not knowing whether to move forward or step back. But then whatever comes will come, Dannish cannot return in that dark darkness. He decided to move on.

A space opened up before him. Isn't this Arglohandre? But… Why is it so strange? Why did Arglohandre once again crumble before his eyes? Isn't that the Palace of Glamgmar? Wait, what's going on? Is this before or after their story? Why has everything become so desolate?

Dannish was like a lost man. He stood helplessly in the middle of the dead land. No more signs of life. His legs trembled again. Dannish sat down, frightened like a child hearing a ghost story. What's going on?

While he was bogged down with questions, Dannish felt the ground shake. A cry roared in the blue sky. Dannish looked up. Dragon! A dragon! He stood up and sighed. It's the Dragon, indeed! The dragon flew overhead, but its splendor was enough for people below to see it clearly. It roared with a loud noise, not forgetting to spit out a large pillar of fire that threatened the morale of the enemy. Wait! Looks like… Behold! Someone is sitting on its back! Dragon rider? That's it! It's true that someone is sitting on its back! Dannish chased after the dragon's flight, even though he still felt a twinge of fear at the sight.

The dragon swooped down, spewing a huge pillar of fire that burned the enemies right in front of him. Its rider jumps down skillfully like a magician. Dannish stood watching behind a rock. That's it! Lapunta's undead army! But what he doesn't know is when did this event take place? As he watched, his heart felt like it was burned by dragon fire. A group of people tried to fight those undead with something colourful. Is it magic? It sure is! He had just witnessed with his own eyes a woman among them summoning a giant tree branch from beneath the ground and piercing hundreds of enemy troops. Are they witches? While still not understanding the end of the story, Dannish accidentally backed away and hit something. He rolled his eyes. A sword? Since when? Why is the sword strapped to his belt? But now is not the time to ask questions, the battle right in front of him is the key.

Everything happened so fast that Dannish couldn't keep up. Look! Are those the Sacred Treasures Jon brought? Pyrossid, that's it, but was unharmed. And isn't that the Sagigandro of Lamstrong? So maybe this is the future? But if that's the case, will Lapunta be reborn again? Damned! That's right! Damn it! Lapunta will once again bring darkness down to Arglohandre. So isn't all their hard work today in vain?

At this moment, darkness gradually drew in the sky. A terrifying roar that seemed to tear the earth apart. From within the rolling black cloud, an omen of misfortune spread in all directions. It's Lapunta! It was him, and no one else! That's it! Dannish remembered well what his face looked like. No matter how far away, that Emperor was unmistakable.

Lapunta in a robe made of swooping evil spirits. A single flap of the wings is enough to level everything below. The Warriors were also unable to evade the blow. The shock wave sent the Warriors flying in all directions. One of them was pushed over to him. It was that woman. She was knocked backwards, hitting her back against the rock he was hiding in. Dannish fell back hastily, shocked to see what was going on. He imagined, if he was the one to take that impact, wouldn't it be flesh and bones? Dannish heard the girl groan in pain. Is she still alive? Dannish really wanted to step out to help, but for some reason his legs were stiff. Is he not ready to accept death? He did not not know. He did not know anything.

The girl sat up in pain. The zombies saw her and walked over. The girl tried to forcefully attack them with the twigs from the underground that she summoned, but that was not the way. The zombies were too many, while the woman was alone. The exhausted girl could no longer use her power. The undead approached, holding a longsword firmly in his hand, preparing to finish her off. What does he do here? He couldn't stand to see her killed like this, but he also doubted himself. Dannish's heart burned like fire. Standing in the middle of a restrained position like this, he didn't know what to do. At this moment, the sword once again caught his attention. Sword, what does it want to say?

The woman closed her eyes, then let out a sigh, even though her hands were still trying to cast magic but were already unable to. The undead lowered his sword horizontally, intending to cut her body in half. But just before that fateful moment, Dannish answered his heart. He is the Chosen One! He must have something to be that person! He is the Resistance Army! There was nothing to fear anymore. If he couldn't even do this, then it wouldn't matter if he returned to become an Emperor.

Dannish parried the undead's blow with his sword, knocking him back. The girl looked straight at him, with a surprised expression, but then lost her mind. Dannish didn't understand what it was, but he was still busy fighting some of the enemies in front of him. After temporarily killing some of them, he asked:

"Did Lapunta come back to life?"

The girl panicked and looked at him like someone who had just met a ghost. She staggered to her feet, her face still as if she couldn't believe her eyes. Dannish's sword slashed through the undead man's body, his face still towards the woman. He asked:

"What's going on?"

“Are you… Darren the Great?”, she cried.

"What? I… No… My name is Danish Howmen”, he replied confusedly.

“It is indeed Him! You are the founder of the Howmen Dynasty!” the woman cheered. “Why are you here?”

"I don't know!" Dannish replied. “But leave it alone. Tell me what's going on?"

“Lapunta will be back…”

But Dannish could no longer hear anything. The girl's voice also grew smaller, and the whole atmosphere was like quicksand that crumbled from time to time. A sand pit opened at his feet. Damned! What else is this? Before Dannish knew it, the rest of the story had been sucked into the sand pit.

Another disgusting feeling!
