Xiang walks around the city hall. Stumped for how to get to David, he walks towards the tree in the middle of the street.
“Hi, you remember?” Xiang hears from behind it.
A familiar face pops out behind the tree.
“AGH!” Xiang says.
The tree falls onto the street, and Xiang jumps out of the way. The golem who gave Xiang the medical goods presented himself.
“Friend, follow,” he said.
Xiang, confused, followed.
They trekked through the city towards the mountains.
“I’ve never walked this far and long…” Xiang said.
“Well I did,” he said. “Me called Granite. You call me Gray.”
They walked until they made it to the caves.
“This I’s home,” Gray said.
They both walked in.
“You know nothing, sit,” Gray said, pointing at a chair.
Xiang sits down and is handed a large book named “Basics on Aura”.
“You read and learn.”
Xiang opens the book and begins reading…
Aura is power. The more Aura you have, the more power you have. This book will teach you all the ways to use Aura.
Shared Techniques
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
Shared techniques are attacks, defenses, basically anything aura can do that is passed down through families.
“What shared techniques do I have?” Xiang yells out
“Maybe none. Maybe all. I no know,” Gray replied. “Read more,”
Innate Techniques
Innate techniques are powered by Aura and is the pinnacle of Aura power. If you have a lethal Innate technique, you pretty much have won the fight, unless your opponent has a more lethal technique.
“Well I have a innate technique, right?” Xiang yells to Gray.
“Think so,” He replies, “Everyone have one,”
Xiang reads the rest of the book.
“You learn?” Gray asks.
“I sure hope so,” Xiang grins.
“Show me double jump,” Gray commands.
Xiang sweats, trying to spread his aura around his body.
“You bad at this,” Gray says. “You practice.”
Gray walks toward a cabinet. A green rock is inside. Xiang walks over, trying to see what it is. Gray picks the rock up and puts it on Xiang’s head. Xiang slumps down due to the weight of the rock.
“Aura spread, Stone light. Aura not, Stone heavy,” Gray said to Xiang.
Over the next 5 months, Xiang has the stone stuck on his head.
5 months later…
“Gray, I think I got it! The rock is light!”
“Really?” Gray said. “Try remove rock.”
Xiang pulls the rock off his head with relative ease.
“Wow. Now try Double Jump.” Gray said in shock.
Xiang jumps in midair, just as asked.
“You ready. Go to Afar tomorrow.”
“Wait.. What?” Xiang questioned.
“You want kill… David Baszucki? Right?” Gray asks.
“Y-yeah. I do.” Xiang states.
“To kill… We get 5 thing.”
“5 things? For what..?”
“To go David Castle. Now rest. Tomorrow important,” Gray said firmly.
Meanwhile…
“Sir… There seems to be a rebellion brewing in the game you’ve been deleting… They seem to have consciousness…”
“Good work… Señor Habanero. But I doubt they gained consciousness alone. It was caused by… A human.”
“But… That’s not possible. How could a human enter his conscience to a game?” Señor Habanero exclaimed.
“Oh, Habanero… The human… Knows something we don’t. And I believe his name is… Xianghui Lu.”
