“MOM I CAN EXP-,” Xiang blurts out after taking hit after hit. The broomstick forcefully pounded on Xiang, helpless to the mother's overwhelming power. Xinhui Lu, Xiang’s brother, was in the living room and was scared after hearing the endless amounts of terrifying screaming coming from Xiang’s room. Xin walks over to the room and peeks from the door, seeing what the commotion is about. All he hears is, “YOU USELESS AS HELL BE MORE LIKE XIN, HE GETS THE GOOD GRADE AND YOU STUPID. WHY I GIVE BIRTH TO YOU!? YOU SO STUPID AND A FAILURE! GO GET JOB YOU DISAPPOINTMENT,” shouted from his mother's voice.
“Mom! I HAVE A JOB!” Xiang says. “I’m a full-time Doscob mod!” The mom looks at him with a flabbergast expression, wondering what Doscob even was and she drops the broomstick. The mom asks Xiang, “How much you make from Cobdos?” Xiang, scared for his life, frantically replies, “Mom i-it’s Doscob, and well…” Xiang looks away and scratches his arm, trying to shake the question until he thinks of an answer. “HOW MUCH, BOY?” the mom lashes out at him. Xiang hesitantly says, “I-I make well, erm.. I make 1500 a month.” The mom gets close up to Xiang, looking him dead in the eyes. When Xiang is lying, he violently scratches his arms like he was doing right now. In a cold blank stare, Xiang feels threatened even more and the mom, in a cold tone, asks him, “Why are you lying to me?” Xiang felt his heart drop, not only was he caught lying, his mom was so angry that she spoke good English. Xiang then proceeds to get beaten nearly to death, losing his electronic privileges.
Fuming, Xianghui goes to his father’s room, snatches his father’s work computer, and goes downstairs. He opens the computer, logs in, and downloads Anime Crusades. He then starts to use his remaining money to gamble on the game to get good units. He rolls 200 times and wins only one rare character, the Quimic. Instantly after, he gets a friend request. It’s a girl! Xiang, frothing at the mouth, instantly accepts the request. She immediately asks him if he wants to be her boyfriend, and he accepts instantly. His deprivation of women had driven him insane.
He and the girl got to know each other, even exchanging contact info. Xiang and her were on a call, when she suddenly asked, “Hey, Xiang. Can we trade on Anime Crusades?” she asked. “Anything for you, Veronica,” Xiang stated, clearly not noticing the voice getting deeper and deeper. As they started the trade, Veronica would give away Jameson Table, the most valuable character in the game. In return, Xiang would give away his Quimic. As he was about to trade, Veronica switched out Jameson Table for a Shivi, the most common unit in the game.
“AGAHJ!” Xiang exclaims as he loses his top character in the game. Veronica then states in a deep voice, “By the way, I’m not a girl,” then, “Veronica” logs out of the call with Xiang, and unfriends him. In an act of frustration, Xiang screams. Putting his hands on his head and yelling extremely loudly, his pupils disappearing completely in the fit of rage.

“What the problem!?” Xiang’s father says, walking towards Xiang. In frustration, Xiang punches a hole through the computer’s screen, breaking his father’s computer.
When the father walked in, he saw the broken computer.
“What the hell you do, boy.” Xiang’s dad said.
Xiang winced in fear. Not a moment later, he went black.
The loud sound of the door closing right in front of him woke him up, only to bring excruciating pain to him. He tried knocking on the door and shouted, “LET ME BACK IN PLEASE!” He was replied back with nothing but silence. Xiang turned around, putting his hands in his pockets, he started walking away from the house. He was now a homeless and cold Xiang. He tries wiping his tears away but is only met with more tears running down his face. In just a few steps, he collapsed onto the floor, questioning his life choices. Why did it have to be this way? Why did I have to be catfished? Why did Anime Crusade get taken down? Why did I rage? Why? Why.. WHY!? Xiang tries comforting himself, curling up into a ball, he can’t do this anymore. As tears continue to run down his face, the coldness of the harsh snowy weather starts affecting him more than expected, he shivers and sniffles. He completely collapses onto the floor, being held up by only his two very cold and shaky arms on the ground. He screams. A scream so loud it caught the attention of almost everyone in the neighborhood, but only one took notice. Growl. Xiang heard. He very slowly turned back to see what that noise was, and his heart stopped, his eyes widened. From crying and hopeless to scared and still hopeless. It was the most wretched individual in the neighborhood, a force not to be reckoned with, a calamity, and a natural disaster. Princess Cupcake, the neighbor’s pitbull.
Xiang, with no hesitation, got up and started running away from the pitbull, Princess Cupcake. Xiang was crying and shouting while running across the street but getting chased violently by Princess Cupcake. But, Xiang played League and even Anime Crusade, so his running barely lasted. He tripped over a stick and ended up breaking his right leg, unable to run, he saw Princess Cupcake looking at him, hungrily and viciously. Like a wolf chasing a bunny, it would be a one-sided massacre. His clothes were filled with the red of his blood. No physical trace of Xiang was left other than his clothing. His body was consumed by Princess Cupcake, not even leaving his bones.
Xiang is trapped in a dark hallway. As he walks through, the echoes of his footsteps form a soothing melody.
“What brings you here, child?” A deep and ominous voice spoke out to Xiang...
