A note from the research book of a mysterious black robed researcher.
Have you ever wondered why title given skills do not have a skill rank like the other system given skills? Well I have and I have also succeeded in discovering the reason why the title given skills don't have a skill rank and that's because the skills given by a title are unique as they are not skills which the system granted us but instead we earned them through our own efforts because of which the system can't comprehend where the limit of a title skill is. Which also implies that a title skill has infinite potential and that the only limit is our imagination.

Chapter 4: The spirit wilds part.1
Will had now finally calmed down after getting angry and swearing at the Black humanoid entity for putting him in an supposedly inescapable prison.
He also noticed that only one minute was left of the active period of the skill so he would lose the effect of the skill spirit body in one minute.
Huh oh no only one minute is left, oh shit I have to hurry and find a place to hide because I don't know if any of these weird creatures are hostile or not and to add to that I don't have any offensive skill which could help me fight.
Then I started to frantically look for a decent safe spot to hide in the surroundings and to my great fortune I actually did manage to find a small hollow in a sturdy and strong looking tree which was also hard to see due being high up the tree.
Though that was no problem for me as I could just float up to the hollow and even a small hollow is sufficient for me as I don't have much mass and am just a cloud of gas which is somehow alive, and could only be due to magic existing in this world.
Then I took another look and noticed I only had half a minute remaining so I floated as fast as I could towards the hollow and just barely managed to make it in time.
“Phew, thankfully I made it on time”. I signed in relief and then got cosy in this hollow and opened the system shop as I had gotten some skill points which I could use to buy a skill according to the tutorial quest so I mentally said the word ‘status’.

Alright so it looks like I have levelled up to level 2 though the experience required for the next level up has increased which is concerning because if the exo required doubles each time then when I am high level it will take forever to level.
Anyways that's not what's important right now I have to see what skills I can buy from the system shop. Then I mentally chose the system shop option from the status window which opened up another new system window which had a skill search option and also had four other options though they appeared to be locked at the moment and it also showed how many skill points I had.

Alright let's see what type of skill do I need right now hmm, of course I need an offensive skill and a danger detection type of skill would also be very useful at the moment so let's search for offensive and detection type skills which I can afford at the moment.
Found six matching skills which are compatible with the user.
Four offensive type skills
Two detection type skills
Offensive skill: Wind slash(E) lvl.1
This skill allows the user to use mana to create sharp blades of wind to launch at its enemies to attack and if the user hasn't unlocked mana yet then it will also unlock the users mana pool to allow the user to use the skill.
Cost:3 Sp
Offensive skill: Water bullet(E) lvl.1
This skill allows the user to use mana to create bullets of water to shoot at its enemies to attack and if the user hasn't unlocked mana yet then it will also unlock the users mana pool to allow the user to use the skill.
Cost:3 Sp
Offensive skill: Spirit shot(D) lvl.1
This skill allows the user to use spirit energy from the spirit realm to create an arrow with spiritual damage property to directly attack an enemy's soul.(It can be resisted if the enemy's soul is strong enough). Uses 3 spirit energy per shot.
Cost:7 Sp
Offensive skill: Earth bullet(E) lvl.1
This skill allows the user to use mana to create bullets made of earth to launch at the user's enemies and if the user hasn't unlocked mana yet then it will also unlock the users mana pool to allow the user to use the skill.
Cost:3 Sp
Detection skill: Spirit sense(D) lvl.1
This skill allows the user to partially sense the spirit realm from the physical realm thus allowing the user to detect any nearby hostile entity or spirit energy rich herbs. Uses 1 spirit energy per minute.
Cost:5 Sp
Detection skill: Vibration sensing(E) lvl.1
This skill allows the user to be able to feel any vibrations in the air through their body allowing them to feel every sound in the surroundings.
Cost:2 Sp
Well I kinda expected more options for detection type skills but I guess beggars can't be choosers and the spirit sense is actually a pretty good skill according to the description.
So let's see, I am definitely going to take the spirit shot as direct damage to the soul sounds amazing and for a detection skill I am going to choose the spirit sense as it has more functionality than the vibration sensing skill.
And as for the remaining three points i think I will choose the Wind slash skill as a sharper blade will be more useful than a blunt bullet.
Then I decided to brace myself for the incoming onslaught of information about using three entire skills entering my mind at once.
Then as I braced myself and mentally confirmed which three skills I am choosing, a second later it felt like my mind was about to explode from the immense amount of information which was currently filling my mind though some kind of mysterious energy which I could only presume was the system's doing was continuously stabilising my mind and stopping it from my collapse and that was the thing which I could remember before losing consciousness as I curled up into a ball in pain inside the small hollow I was hiding in.
