After waking up and surveying the area around her, Takata got up and walked around hoping to find out what transpired, but was instead welcomed with bodies, blood, and flags. Upon closer inspection, there were three flags, one that was red with a black spiral in the middle, another with purple and three white streaks in the middle and a small circle of the same color as the streaks, and the third one which was black with a white skull in the middle. None of these helped Takata have an idea of what happened, but she at least knew that three factions fought each other. After she had finished surveying the area, she picked up a sword and inspected it until she noticed her own reflection on it. Her face was different, had a few scars on it, her hair was not only longer, but also red, but not as red as her face, which was just a tad bit darker and her eyes were a piercing yellow. After inspecting her new looks, she heard sounds approaching her and turned to see what was causing it, to met with an injured woman.
Woman: "Demon scum. Seems I forgot one at some point, don't worry I'll make it quick."
Takata, not knowing who the woman was, knew that talking would be a waste with her as she intended to kill, so she brought the sword close to her and readied for battle.
Woman: "At least you are braver than the ones we fought. Also, don't mind this injury, it won't impede me in bringing your kind's heads for the reward they are worth."
The woman attacked Takata but she was able to block it and push the woman back, however, instead of being pushed back, she countered Takata's momentum and pushed her onto the ground.
Woman: "This is easy."
Takata raised her foot and kicked as hard as she could between the attacker's crotch causing the woman to groan and lose her balance, giving Takata time to escape. After the woman was able to compose herself enough to slowly stand, she cursed herself for letting Takata get away from her. Takata, on the other hand, didn't stop running. She hoped that she would have created a distance between her and the attacker only to trip on a corpse and fall to her knees.

Woman: "Either you are the luckiest demon or you knew about my weapon. Either way, you will be mine."
Takata wanted to know why this woman wanted her dead but knew that trying to ask the attacker wouldn't be a good idea, so instead she brought her sword back up and took a stance that threw the attacker off-guard. In her previous life, Takata was also a Neet and a blade enthusiast. She practiced her swordsmanship with a friend whom she still had no idea was a professional fencer and even taught her some stances and moves from sci-fi movies that she liked. Takata was thankful that she didn't stop practicing and wanted to thank him somehow, but knew it would be impossible.
Woman: "What the hell is that? I've seen your kind's fighting stance, but never seen that before. Could it be... Wait, you are one of the honor guards? No... then again..."
While the woman seemed distracted, Takata took the opportunity to see if she could get her question answered,
Takata: "If I give you an answer, will you answer something of mine?"
Woman: "Depends on the answer."
Takata: "I'm not an honor guard. I'm not a soldier, just someone who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't know where I am, what I'm doing here, who you are, or even why you just suddenly attacked me."
Woman: "Seriously? The insignia on my armor doesn't give it away?"
Takata shook her head negatively and the woman sighed,
Woman: "This is a new one. Alright, I'm a warrior of the Imperial Church of Whiterock, where we were was a battlefield from the ongoing war between your people and almost every other race. As to what you are doing here, I thought you were a scout at first trying to get an idea of troop numbers or something, then I thought you were an honor guard..."
Takata: "And now?"
Woman: "Other than someone who is curious and has memory loss, not sure yet. I guess I can also give you my name... I am Elizabeth Von Ward of the Ward Family tasked by the Church to subjugate your people."
