The nobles and the guards continue their conversation, not knowing that Takata is listening to them and getting some ideas about her next move. She then looked at how much money she had available and realized that she would need to work off to do what she could at this auction if it would be occurring soon. As soon as the nobles and guards left, Takata slowly exited from under the carriage and used the alleyways as her method of travel since she wasn't too sure about how people would respond to seeing her. While traveling around, she started to listen in on conversations with other people and attempt to gather as much information about the place she was in. According to some of the people, the town she was in was led by a corrupt politician, but no one wanted to do anything to stop them as they had the majority of the nobles and the kingdom under their foot. Takata then heard that there were some laws about other species not being allowed in the town unless they were elves, which made Takata's hope of getting any money go further down the drain. She continued down the alleyway hoping to find a way to get around the area while being different from whatever the norms of this society were until she stumbled upon a scene where three people were senselessly beating a young woman with snow-white hair. Whatever was left of her clothes were in tatters, barely covering her lower sensitive parts indicating that she was being abused by them for a while. Takata remembered how in her previous life she had seen things like this happen so much that she was convinced it was a frequent thing. Not even the law enforcement did much to help in that life nor did anyone even try to help this woman out. so Takata decided to take matters into her own hands by slowly moving to a corner where she wouldn't be easily spotted by them, picked up a rather large stone, and chucked it at one of the assaulters, killing him instantly as the stone's jagged edge made contact with that person's head.

Assault Male #2: "Wha..? Elli?! Who threw that?!"

Assault Male #3: "Oh we got ourselves a hero, eh? Come on out then, hero or the disgusting non-human scum gets to meet whoever their maker is, if they have one."

No answer. The one closest to the woman signaled for the other one to check out what was going on. As the male's friend went towards each corner checking them for anyone hiding in them, the other one decided to roughen up the woman a little more before dragging her up from her feet and holding her in a chokehold. The person kept going and going, but couldn't find anyone until he heard a sound from one of the nearby corners and quickly went to investigate. As he turned the corner, hoping to face his next target, he saw a cat looking for food in the garbage, groaned in frustration and decided to take out his frustration on the poor cat.

Assault Male #3: "Hey! What are you doing back there? Did you see anything?"

No response and the male is getting a bit anxious and takes out a dagger holding it at the woman's neck.

Assault Male #3: "Come out now!"

No response. The man held the dagger closer to the woman's neck and waited for the attacker to reveal themselves from the shadows, but as minutes passed by, the man started to get a bit impatient. He then figured that the attacker wasn't taking him seriously, so he stabbed her shoulder with the dagger causing the woman to scream.

Assault Male #3: "In case you weren't going to take me seriously, here is a reason to change your mind. Now you know I mean business. Come out, or it will be more than her shoulder."
