Takata: "Subjugate? What have we done?"

Elizabeth: "That is not too important, you need to face judgment for your crimes."

Takata: "What crimes have I committed? If anything, wouldn't you also be a bad person?"

Elizabeth: "Excuse you?"

Takata: "You and the church are going to wipe us out, yet there is no legitimate reason as to why you are doing that, or at least you haven't told a reason."

Elizabeth: "Fine. I don't have a reason why they want your kind dead, but we don't question what our priests say because it is the will of the gods and their will must be done."

Takata: "But I have done nothing wrong and want to learn about how people interact with each other."

During the talk, a roar was heard and the two women looked towards the sound and saw a black bear on its hind legs. Takata stood her ground while Elizabeth slowly backed away. The bear went on all fours and started to charge at Takata, but she swiftly avoided it and attacked one of its legs, causing it to roar in pain. The bear swerved around to face Takata again and sized each other up as if they were fated enemies. Neither of them attacked or paid attention to the fact that Elizabeth was backing away slowly until she was sure that none of them would notice her if she started running. The bear used its paw to swipe at Takata, but she dodged at the last second before the paw quickly adjusted and knocked her off her feet. Takata quickly got back up as the bear went to attack her again, jumped in the air, and drove her sword into the bear's back causing another roar and some violent thrashing. The sudden thrashing nearly threw her off the back but she continued to stay on the bear's back and keep the sword plunged into its back until the bear stopped moving. Then she finally removed the sword and looked around for Elizabeth, only to notice that she was nowhere to be found.

Takata: "I don't know why I expected her to stick around. Guess, I'll have to make my way around this unknown world. Just have to figure out where I am."

Takata walked through the massive gravesite of bodies until she finally found a clearing and continued making her way to the closest town. After almost a full day, Takata finally made it to a small town, but had to stop and think about how she was going to get in.

Takata: "If what Elizabeth was saying is true, then if I simply walk in there, things will get hairy quickly. I need to find another way in, perhaps hiding with other people's cargo or using the sewers."

Takata looked around the area for any carriages with plenty of cargo and saw at least 5 carriages waiting to be checked and decided to go to the last one. Upon reaching the 5th carriage, Takata's head started to hurt a little, but she did her best to ignore it and continue with her plan. As soon as she started to climb in, she realized how silly it was, since they might check everything and decided to follow the last carriage and wait until the people doing the checks were done. When she looked back at the small town's entrance, she noticed that there weren't as many guards as she thought and wanted to see how well they checked the cargo. After a while of waiting, Takata noticed that they only paid attention to carriages that had little to no importance, but ignored the carriages of royals and nobility, so she decided to wait for an important person's carriage and hide somewhere on that carriage, even if it has to be on the roof if she is lucky enough to get there.

After a few more minutes and some stone counting, another carriage showed up and to Takata's surprise it had a bunch of royals in it. Takata excitedly got up from where she was and waited for the guards to do their checks. After the checks were close to done, she made her way to the carriage and slid under it, then climbed on the underbelly to make sure that she stayed hidden when the carriage entered through the gates and upon climbing in, she noticed that she had a tail and hid that as well as getting caught now would only be a bigger disaster for her.

After successfully entering the town via undercarriage, Takata started to slowly lower herself onto the ground before the door opened, and a few nobles stepped out along with their armed escorts laughing about something.

Male Noble #1: "Then I told the bandit, 'You wouldn't last a minute against my soldiers, let alone a sip of Frostwine.' Fool had no idea that was a distraction the whole time for the guards to dispose of them."

Male #1's Guard: "Quite right, sir. Thank you again for that distraction."

Male Noble #1: "Not a problem. Now, is that.... thing you captured ready?"

Female Noble #1: "What thing?"

Male Noble #1: "You didn't receive an invite?"

Female Noble #1: "Wait, oh you mean to the auction? Yes, I received that invite. Wasn't aware that was where the creature was taken."

Female Noble #2: "She is a rare one, right?"

Male #1's Guard: "Correct madam. She will probably have a high price on her."

Female Noble #2: "How long will the auction go on for?"

Male Noble #1: Another week or so. We are having folks from far lands coming here too, so they may chime in with loads of money for this creature."

Male #1 Guard: "Do you think they will notice those things on her?"

Male Noble #1: "By the time any of them do, we will have the money and be gone."
