No sounds. The male continued to wait for anything, even a drop of a feather to get the upper hand on the person who thought they could play hero. After a few more minutes of long agitated waiting, the last assualter decided to force the knife out of her shoulder, causing the woman to howler in pain again. Before he could start his sentence or even enjoy the agony he was putting the woman in, a purple bolt of magic collided with his head, knocking him back away from the woman. Shortly after, she turned towards the man and noticed that he wasn't getting up, then heard footsteps approaching and saw Takata finally showing herself.
Woman: "Why... why did you wait that long?"
Takata: "If you couldn't see the danger showing up early would possess, then I don't know how to explain it better."
Woman: "Look, I appreciate the save, but... wait, aren't you one of those cursed that those religious people talk about?"
Takata: "I just got here, and you are already the fourth person to ask that. What did I do to any of you to deserve that title?"
Woman: "Not you specifically, but your race is cursed in more ways than one. Do you not know your own race's history?"
Takata let out a sigh and let the woman start her story. She had it in her head, that whatever she said would be fact-checked as soon as she found something resembling a library or at least someone else who resembled something similar to whatever her race is.

Takata: "Look, I was searching for information and saw you were having trouble. I could have ignored what was happening and continued my search."
Woman: "However, you didn't. This means you either are expecting info from me or, and this is a very big rare thing as in would never happen, you have a good heart. Which is it?"
Not wanting to converse with this elven woman anymore, Takata turned around and started to walk toward where she came from but was stopped by the woman placing her hand on her shoulder.
Woman: "Weird, I just felt some intense magic from you... Anyway, I might be able to help you depending on the information you are looking for."
Takata thought for a second about properly asking the question about a possible auction and finally asked the elven woman. She rubbed her chin and pondered on how to ask the question. During the short pause, a couple of guards appeared from the path Takata entered through earlier and saw the two women standing near the dead bodies.
Guard #1: "Stay where you are, dirty scum! Do not make any sudden movements!"
Takata looked at the guards and noticed that their uniforms were fancy with all sorts of decorations, meaning they were either high-ranking or special types of guards. Either way, she wasn't going to fight them head-on, however, that didn't stop the elven woman from stepping infront and glaring at the guards. The guards stopped in their tracks and stood at attention,
Guard #1 and #2: "We apologize, Overseer Campli."
Takata: "Overseer? What is going on now?"
