Raylen raised his hand, lightning coiling around his arm like a living serpent. "We can't wait any longer. Those creatures will come for us, and if we're not ready, we're dead. This is our only chance."
The awakened students nodded, their resolve hardening.
But Nyx remained in the shadows, hidden among the terrified faces, his cold eyes watching everything unfold. "Raylen might have the power of lightning, but he hasn't gotten used to it yet"
Raylen had gathered inspiration from those around him, a female student wielding the a talent of fire, Livia and another female student that wielded a talent of Telekinesis, Neille.
'The classic heroine trope' Nyx thought
Nyx wanted to say something to get more information
"Where are we going after we get out of here?"Nyx asked loudly. Others around had searched for where the voice ha came from however Nyx had already changed his place among the crowd
"I'm going to get stronger and create a safer place, those who want to come and join are allowed, as for those who would'nt should wait for help from the military" Raylen said
'Not all Justice, I see' Nyx thought to himself
The instructors and some others would love to go, however, they had neither the ability nor the trust in Raylen full capabilities to move forward and made up their mind to wait for help.
The atmosphere was thick with tension, the faint echoes of thunder still lingering in the air from Raylen's display of power. The others had rallied behind him, their gazes filled with hope—or desperation. But Nyx? He wasn't interested in following.

Raylen had already left
Nyx had already known what he wanted
While the others rushed toward the front, ready to fight or flee, Nyx moved with quiet precision, slipping away unnoticed. He had spotted the back door earlier, and now, just as he expected, it was no longer locked.
"Stronger" Nyx whispered to himself "Strength, that's what I need" Nyx followed up and said
"Stronger," he whispered to himself, his voice low and resolute. The word lingered in the air like a vow.
"Strength... that's what I need," Nyx muttered, his cold eyes narrowing as he stepped further into the darkness.
Moments Later....
The silence was short-lived, interrupted only by the distant sounds of chaos.
"I may have said I wanted to reach the Tower," Nyx murmured, his voice barely a whisper. "But the Tower is where the true danger lies."
Nyx's sharp eyes scanned the horizon. He could sense it—the Tower was the epicenter of the chaos. Yet, here, the streets were already teeming with monsters. Goblins, primarily. But something told him there were worse things lurking in the shadows, waiting.
'It seems like there is where they're all coming from,' he thought, his gaze trailing the destruction around him. Fires burned brightly, casting an eerie glow over the mangled wreckage of vehicles that now served as makeshift barricades. But those flames weren't enough to hold the creatures back.
ROARRRRR!!
A chorus of snarls erupted as a horde of goblins crested the blockade, their hideous forms silhouetted against the burning wreckage. Their numbers were growing, the scent of charred flesh and smoke mixing with their growls as they clamored forward.
Nyx remained perfectly still, his cold, emotionless gaze fixed on the approaching mass. The stench of death and destruction that filled the air didn't faze him in the slightest.
His focus was elsewhere—on the prey that had just revealed itself.
"Just in time," Nyx muttered, his lips curling into a chilling grin. The thrill of battle coursed through his veins.
