Nyx, having perfected his method of using the foolish goblins against each other, moved through the building systematically.
Class by class.
Goblin by goblin.
His approach was cold and relentless. He didn't waste energy where it wasn't needed, using 'Command' to have his minions eliminate their kin while he struck from the shadows. One by one, the goblins fell, and with each fallen creature, Nyx collected another mana stone. Eventually, his total rose to ten.
He paused, glancing at the shimmering stones in his hand.
"I wonder if a new tier skill can be awakened with these ten mana stones," Nyx mused aloud, his cold, calculating expression betraying a glint of curiosity. His mind raced with possibilities. "Although I can generate things other than skills, what use is equipment or weapons if one can't protect them?" His voice was calm, logical—like a scientist observing a test subject.
"Generate," Nyx commanded, watching with an expression of mild detachment as the ten fluorescent mana stones dissolved from his pocket, vanishing.

A satisfied smile crept onto Nyx's face. "This is quite useful," he murmured. His sharp mind quickly pieced together how the new skill would enhance his combat efficiency.
"If my theory is correct, each tier will require exponentially more mana stones." He mentally calculated. "One mana stone equals F-tier. Ten equals E-tier. It's likely a hundred stones are needed for the next level... whatever that may be."
He grinned, a flash of malevolent excitement dancing across his face. "I wonder what kind of power lies beyond."
With that, Nyx turned his attention to the final unsearched area. "No matter, let's keep going."

Standing before the last classroom before reaching the roof, Nyx felt a familiar surge of anticipation. "This is the final class before the roof," he said under his breath.
"Insight," Nyx commanded, allowing the system to scan the room and provide details of its inhabitants.

Nyx's face remained expressionless as he took in the details. "The improvement is subtle," he muttered, "but it's there." This upgrade was exactly what he had anticipated
A few moments later, Nyx exited the classroom, his mind already focused on the next stage: the roof. He had cleared every room, eliminated every goblin in the building. Now, only the final challenge awaited him.
Creak... creak...
The metal door groaned as Nyx pushed it open, stepping onto the rooftop. His eyes narrowed as he took in the scene.
There, standing in the center of the roof, was a hulking figure clad in heavy, dark armor. Its enormous frame cast an imposing shadow across the concrete. Blood-red eyes glared at Nyx with a burning intensity, the creature's presence radiating danger and malice.
Nyx's eyes sharpened as he analyzed the figure. This was the boss—undoubtedly the strongest foe he had faced so far. His pulse quickened, but not with fear. Instead, excitement stirred in his chest.
"I knew it," Nyx whispered, his voice barely audible. He had anticipated an opponent like this—a final test before he could claim this place as his own.
The armored figure shifted, its heavy footfalls echoing across the roof as it turned fully to face Nyx. It was massive, nearly twice his height, and the glowing red eyes in its helmet burned with fury. The air around it seemed to crackle with oppressive energy.
Nyx smiled coldly. This was exactly what he wanted.
He whispered under his breath, "Offsight."
