The goblins quickly noticed Nyx, their snarls growing louder as they surged toward him.
"This isn't the best place for a fight," Nyx muttered, glancing at his surroundings.
Suddenly, he shouted, "Follow me!", ensuring the goblins' attention remained fixed on him. It was a calculated risk, one that could easily backfire if more dangerous creatures lurked nearby.
'I could attract something far worse,' Nyx thought, his mind racing as he darted toward a narrow stairwell leading up a nearby building. His plan was simple—lure them into the tight space and eliminate them one by one.
The roars grew louder, the goblins' heavy footsteps shaking the broken concrete beneath them as they pursued him. Nyx reached the top of the staircase, gripping his sword 'Brunsteel' tightly. He positioned himself on the high ground, his cold eyes locked on the creatures below.
One by one, the goblins funneled into the stairwell, their numbers forcing them to attack in a line rather than a swarm. It was exactly what Nyx had planned.
"Perfect," he whispered to himself as he swung Brunsteel with precision, cutting down the first goblin with ease. Another stepped up to take its place, only to meet the same fate.
Nyx's advantage was clear—the narrow staircase limited the goblins' numbers, and his elevated position gave him full control. He dispatched them methodically, each swing of his sword clean and deliberate.
But the horde didn't stop. More goblins kept pouring in, their snarls filling the confined space.
'This might take a while,' Nyx thought, unfazed by the endless wave. 'But this works in my favor.'
Moments passed, and soon the staircase was littered with the bodies of goblins. Nyx stood atop the pile of corpses, drenched in blood and sweat. His chest rose and fell as he caught his breath, but his eyes remained cold and calculating.

Nyx stared at the panel, wiping the blood from his face. "Titles, huh?" he muttered, a cold grin spreading across his face.
"You learn something new every day," he added, his voice filled with dark amusement as he looked down at the carnage he had created.
BOOM! BOOM!
The ground trembled violently beneath Nyx's feet.
'Did I attract something else?' he thought, his pulse quickening as beads of nervous sweat dripped down his face.
'It must be the blood,' Nyx reasoned, eyes darting toward the carnage he had left behind. The thick stench of goblin blood likely drew unwanted attention.
Without wasting another second, Nyx bolted down the stairs, adrenaline surging through his veins. He glanced back at the building he had just vacated.
To his shock, a massive, hulking figure emerged, casting a long, dark shadow over the now-ruined structure.
A giant bull-like creature loomed before him, towering over the battlefield, its muscular form dwarfing the crumbling building. The beast's breath was heavy and ragged, its eyes glowing with primal rage.
"Shit!" Nyx hissed under his breath, his voice barely audible.
'Offsight,' Nyx thought, activating his ability to gather information about the beast.

Nyx's heart fastened. The gap in strength was enormous—this wasn't something he could face head-on.
With a deafening roar, the Minotaur swung its enormous two-sided axe, the spear-tip glinting menacingly at its center. The weapon collided with a nearby building, pulverizing the concrete and sending debris flying in every direction.
CRASH!
The structure collapsed under the sheer force of the blow, nearly disintegrating into rubble.
Nyx stared at the destruction, his mind racing. 'I'm not strong enough for this... not yet.'
This was a beast of a different caliber—far beyond the goblins.
