----------------------------------------
'By the time I arrived at the Elder’s house, all of the 20 Crop fields had been cleared and somewhere in the middle of having seeds being planted.'
-Alright, things are looking good. The exploration of the houses is wielding a lot of useful resources, I even got several rations…
-Plus all of the special items and other things… I think I can start part 2 of my "Grand plan".
-First, I will explore all of these blueprints. I need to know what I can do.
-Then I need to fix the houses, but that is pretty simple. I imagine the same thing is going to happen right? One of the villagers will go and fix the houses while gathering some materials…
-The problem is the speed… I already noticed that when I give an order through the system, the villagers change.
-For example, a task that would take 10 hours to complete would take only 2.
-They might not find anything to be wrong, but the other villagers will surely suspect something.
-Another thing that I need to pay attention to is that when I give an order, I need the resources inside the village tab.
-Lets say a house costs 10 wood to be built, it doesn't matter if I have a pile of wood in the warehouse, the village will only act if I have 10 wood in the village tab.
I know this because I tried to construct a building which I didn't have the materials to finish and I ended up receiving a notification that I couldn't build it.
Even though I know we have the materials in the village.
I also have a theory.
I think they need a way to access these materials.
So. I first get the material, then I store them outside my inventory, then I give the villager a order. This way he can go and grab the "System originated material".
Time to start part 2
-First, I should check the villagers.
'I opened the Tab and started to go over one by one'
…
-This isn't good, but it could be worse.
From the 30 inhabitants, we have:
15 Tier-0 Farmers
5 Tier-0 Villagers
2 Tier-1 Villagers
1 Tier-1 Woodcutter
1 Tier-1 Woodmanson
1 Tier-1 Cook
1 Tier-1 LeatherWorker
1 Tier-1 Doctor
1 Tier-0 Stonemason
1 Tier-0 Hunter
1 Tier-0 Blacksmith
I also noticed that some people can actually have more than one job, like Richard, who is a Tier-1 Doctor, but he is also a Tier-0 Herbalist.
When I first read this, my first reaction was to laugh.
Like, I always thought that a Farmer was the trashiest job you could have, until I saw Villager.
What does a Villager fucking do?!
Until I noticed… The Villager is the strongest job.
Why?
Because they can do every job!... If they have the Tier for that there is.
A Tier-1 Villager can do the same jobs as a Tier-0 Stonemason for example.
A Tier-2 Villager can do the same jobs as a Tier-1 Stonemason and so on.
Tier-0 Villager… Everyone starts from somewhere right?
As long as I have a single higher Tier village... I can do anything.
After this I noticed a big problem.
We didn't have a single guard!
I know there are monsters in this world. And we need some sort of defense in case one of them appears!
After I deal with the closest problems, I will select a few of the Villagers to become soldiers. I did get a few old "weapons" while they explored the houses after all.
More like rusty trash, I am afraid that holding one would give me tetanus.
-Yeah, its better to throw them away...
In the meantime, the Hunter is going to have to do the job of guard...
-Also… How do I increase someone’s Tier?
Sign... No matter. For now, let's wait and have the people do their jobs, I already scheduled a meeting later at night with the villagers.
-I will take another look in this place. I might have already explored it based on the Village tab, but there might be some things hidden here and there.
…
-Okay, this is the last place.
-I checked the attic, the third to ground floors, but did not find anything.
If there is something hidden in this place it's inside the basement.
-... But there is nothing here.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Just a stone room filled with nothing.
No matter how much I gaze at the stones, they all look perfectly placed.
-I guess I was being a little bit too paranoid. Just because that Elder was a tyrant ruler it doesn't mean he has a secret basement.
‘I decided to place my hand on the wall to rest since I already did a lot when…’
/Clang/
/Kathing!/
-What?
‘I quickly removed my hand from the wall as I heard some strange metallic noises’
‘A section of the wall move slightly before stopping’
Is my luck finally making a turn?
-It looks like a door…
I placed my hands on the edge and pulled.
-ARRRG! This shit is fucking heavy!
My hands hurt!
-Urrrg! Deep breaths! Come on! Move you piece of shit!
‘Finally, after pulling with all of my strength, the door opened a little. But it was enough for me to pass’
At least being skinny helped with something
-Hurf… This was though… I really need to find some time to train this body… I should start with some basic routine every morning.
‘After resting for a few minutes I entered the room.’
‘It was a room just like the basement, stone walls and ceiling.’
-There is nothing? Come on!
I guess the Elder truly took everything with him.
-... Hum… I can make use of this place…
I deposited all of the items I found inside and left the room.
-It 's not enough… Once it's time I can… Hehe…
[DING]
[Hidden quest completed. Elder’s treasure room]
-I did what this time?
[You have gained, ‘How to rule’ book, 10 Gold pieces, 34 Silver pieces, 130 Bronze pieces, Old resource map, Account book]
-How lucky! Money and some items.
Let me see what these are…
…
‘I sat in the old desk on the second floor.
In my hands was a book, one that I just finished reading’
-How boring. I don't know who wrote this book, but this person was clearly a supremacist. So many stupid asumptions… Although this book was still rather useful in teaching me some common knowledge about this world.
[Communion Lv1, Influence Lv1, and Command Lv1 have leveled up]
'I almost threw the book on the ground due to how sudden this was'
-... This always surprises me… So this was a “Skill” book. It increased my skills related to this area… Good for me anyway.
-Old resource map… Its your turn now.
[DING]
[The village tab has updated]
Since it was a map, my first target was the map option.
...
-Oh… So it added a series of resource points… How handy.
This is going to be useful in the future.
-Next.
I opened the book, but nothing happened.
-A list of expenditures over the years… Damn! At one point this village actually made around 100 gold pieces a month! Whatever that means!
But this actually proves to me just how much money I have right now…
-That reward was truly juicy…
There are 4 main types of currency.
Small Bronze piece, Bronze pieces, Silver pieces, Gold pieces. Although... Each Barony has their own currency, so in a territory far away, the main shape and size of each coin might be different from the ones here.
-As far as the books indicate, Tarta is actually a fairly successful Lordom… Why did they adopt such destructive tactics in this village? Shouldn't they have let it grow?
-Is the Lord so greedy for Gold that he would kill the duck who laid the golden egg?
… I can't imagine what these nobles think.
-It seems this book is just for that, to help me gain a better grasp at the economy of this territory and how I should set things over here.
Of course I have to change some things, I don't want the village to go back to what it was a few days ago.
/DING DING/
-They are here… It's time
…
Richard was waiting for me on the first floor.
-How was it Richard? Do we have any injuries?
-Nothing of the sort! Although the morale is a little low…
-Why?
-The search group did not find much at all… They found some coins and smaller items, but due to the condition of the houses, most of the items were damaged or broken beyond repair, so they are a little sad that's all.
Hum, I expected that. My main reason for sending them to explore was just so I could get the exploration rewards.
-It's better than nothing, keeping the people occupied during these trying times is very important.
-...
…
-Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well!
-I know many of you are still worried and somewhat depressed, so let me go over the good news first!
-Today we made great progress! Our heroes managed to clear and successfully plant new seeds in the Crop fields.
-Not only that! But the storm might’ve been a blessing as the old non-fertile land was cleared revealing the extremely fertile soil underneath! Give them a round of applause!

Good. The villagers wake up at 6 Am, if I have them start working by 7 after breakfast…
To make this faster, I will do that.
-I think this is all for now everyone, it's getting late and working at night is dangerous. You can all go rest for now.
‘Everyone started to leave with smiles on their faces’
This Skill truly works, they trust me so easily…
-Richard, can you call those two guys over there? You can go home after doing that.
-Yes Elder
‘Richard went to the guys I had pointed at and they soon came to me’
-Do you require anything Elder?
-Yes I do. Can you make this for me…
‘While they looked at me, I ordered the construction of a Food station near the warehouse’
-So it was that, we will start construction immediately.
'They acted as if I had said something, when in fact, I didn't even open my mouth'
‘They went to the basement and collected the materials, they were very efficient’
Quite creepy but okay.
What is a Food station you ask?
Its simple. Since all of the food is in the warehouse, problems such as distribution may arise. So the construction of a Food station will resolve most of those.
It's nothing more than a small cooking stand. I will assign our only Cook to there and she will make all of the meals for everyone.
At least for now. If our number increases one day, she may find herself overrun.
-Now I wait. Once they finish that, I will assign the Cook and go to sleep.
This isn't as bad as I imagined
