Hum… It's a lot to consider, but time is what I have the most.
Let's go one by one.

‘The other elemental items were pretty similar to the first one
Hum… I am very interested in those 50 stones.
They aren't that expensive, and if I get even one gem, wouldn't the price be paid for all of them?
But this is fishy. They wouldn't allow such stones to be sold for such a low price right?
This means the chances of something being inside are pretty low.
As for the elemental material…
This is the first time I am actually in contact with something magical… This makes me remember that I am in a fantasy world.
Sigh… I will buy one of each since they are very pricey, each for 10 Silver!
And considering there are 3… That's one and a half Gold!
Almost 20Th of my wealth…
As for those Books… I found quite a nice collection.
[Guide to medicine, Guide to herbs, Guide to hunting, Guide to...]
An entire collection for all sorts of Jobs.
But I wonder if those are for me or if I can share them with the villagers…
Whoever, they are all part 1. And according to the System, that's only enough for Tier-1.
But it's worthwhile if I can raise a specific Job to Tier-1 as long as he reads the book…
I would even be fine if he didn't.
Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
“Hum? What are these things?”
[Broken receiver x1; Wood fist style; Bolt; On the intricacies of the Inner pathways; Fragment of something; Old King Biography...]
‘There was still a few more items on the list’
“OH! I see those got your attention… I won't lie, that's mostly trash that accumulated over time. This tends to happen anyway, I have a bad habit of buying useless things, and this is the end result.”
Hum…
[Wood Fist Style
Description: A regime that reinforces one’s fist. It has 2 Tiers and at the end, your fist will be capable of revealing wood.
Effect: Use this book to learn the Wood Fist Style

“Ha! I see this old martial Book has caught your attention. Forget it, it's not worth anything.”
“Why? I thought such things were valuable?”
“They are! A lot in fact! This book came all the way from the extreme North of the continent, where the ‘Murim’ is located.
The problem is that this book is extremely ordinary and it's already known by everyone, even the peasants in the area know.”
“So why sell it in the first place?”
“Well… I didn't buy it, I got it for free when I was trading in the North last year. I haven't managed to sell it ever since.”
“A martial art is a martial art. What's the problem with this book?”
“It takes way too long for you to get anything out of it. Think. you could train your body for 10 years in this technique and yet, the end result is simple, your fists would be as hard as wood.”
“And in Murim… That's nothing. In one month, by joining a large organization and gaining a decent technique, you could surpass this easily. And you might think: Isn’t it hard to join an organization? Yes, it is!”
“But even for peasants, there are some better options than to waste their time on this.”
“I understand, But what is even Murim?”
‘The fat man was stunned, before revealing a smile’
“I thought you knew it… I guess we are in a remote area.”
“Murim is the collective name for a secluded area far in the North. It's an area delimited by a massive and dangerous mountain range. The only way to access Murim is through boats.”
“They are a society based on martial arts above all else. sometimes, even above morals.”
“Their government is not centralized like ours and is instead managed by several dozen organizations. Mainly, the Alliance and the 10 Palaces. The Power and Ritual Cults.”
“All of those who aspire to become Martial artists go there at least one point during their life. And things couldn't be easier since going there is much easier than 100 years ago. As I said earlier, Murim is going through rapid development and with it, the ways to access it aren't limited to Nobles and the rich anymore.”
“Interesting… Let's go back to the products.
“Well… Going over everything quickly. The broken retriever is part of a complex Magitech machine… It alone can't do anything and to repair it you need to be a Magitech engineer...”
“Bolt is a wizardry spell… But it's completely useless. It doesn't do anything.
And to even cast it, you need to be a wizard. Not an apprentice. You see what's wrong with this?”
“The two books: On the intricacies of the Inner pathways and the Old King Biography are outdated books that no one uses anymore.
A biography of a tyrant and foolish king hated by all, and an outdated book from Murim that is supposed to teach you about the inner pathways. The problem is that the book was written 60 years ago, hence, it's completely useless.”
“Murim has been advancing at a terrific speed in the past century, so this book is equivalent to several centuries of normal development.”
“And finally… Just a piece of trash that I thought was cool. The only thing interesting about this, is that it glows in the dark”
‘As he said, when he places the stone in a dark pot, faint light exuded from inside the pot’
WHAT?! IS THAT SOME RADIOACTIVE SHIT!? GET IT AWAY FROM ME!
“The rest is...”
“You know what mister. I also like to collect strange things. How much for all?”
“Will you really buy it? All at once even?!”
“Yes, I will… But we are going to have to discuss this price...”
‘For a good 10 minutes, Jonathan discussed with the fat man over the price of the items.
He eventually settled on a nice deal by bringing other items like the elemental stones, almost getting all of the items for free’
“You… You are truly a fierce friend. Almost made me give those to you for free!”
“Aren't you too clingy? You said it yourself, they were trash! It's just normal to give it to me as a bonus for buying so much.”
“You are right in a sense but… A merchant can never make a loss!”
“How short-sighted, if a merchant doesn't know how to take a loss, how can he look at the long run?”
“!”
‘The Fattie was surprised. He was right, the line between a profit and loss is very thin… Sometimes, you can make a quick profit but lose in the long run, and other times the reverse happens.’
Wise words…. Perhaps I have been a little too greedy recently…
[Arlon Merchant Union + 5]
What did I do?...
‘After saying goodbye to the fat man, he made his way to the final merchant. The slave trade.'
I am not into buying slaves but if I can get a good workforce, the pressure in the village would decrease.
Perhaps I can find some guards and…
Now that I think about it. Can I even see their stats?
I have been under the impression that I could, but these merchants aren't being contained in the number of inhabitants. For obvious reasons.
‘Jonathan opened the map and noticed he could access the System Tab of the merchants, so he went to one of their guards and opened his Tab.’
“You can't be serious...”
