(I did it....? I managed to pull it off?), thought a boy in disbelief as he ran absent mindedly, following the frizzy blue haired boy in front of him who was also running rather quickly through a set of alleyways.
(No....... It's not that I was able to pull it, this guy is just amazing. His skill, timing and positioning were all on point, who is he.....?), thought the brown haired boy who gulped as the two managed to get out of the alleyway. The street they arrived at was a half empty road with a few adults walking around the pedestrian sidewalks. Apparently, academy time had already started and the two boys were inexplicably late.
Haku urked as the brown haired boy beside him panted as he tried to catch his breath while he rested his back on the bulding behind him.
"Tired already? That's not good, we'll still need to run.", said Haku a bit dissapointed as the boy sighed before standing up straight and looking at Haku.
"W-we escaped?", asked the boy as Haku shrugged. "Probably.", responded Haku as he sighed and took his messenger bag from the boy and wore it.
"W-who were they? What did they want?", asked the boy as Haku tilted his head. "That's my question to you. They were after you.", said Haku while the boy hung his head in both thought and confusion.
"Oh dear, do I spot a few ruffians skipping school?", cut a haughty voice as a blonde haired lady with almond eyes wearing a beret and a police jacket walked up to the two with a dissapointed look. Haku and the brown haired boy's focus shifted to the prideful looking woman.
"Uhh, no Ma'am. I was running late when I saw this guy stuck in a ditch. I had to pull him out, see all those stains on his clothes?", asked Haku as he pointed at the boy whose uniform was dirty. The boy looked at himself before gasping.
"Oh no, I'm going to have to do some extra washing......", muttered the boy, seemingly discouraged as he sighed. The police lady raised both brows before shrugging.
"I see, well, at least I won't have to waste my precious time wasting a report on some delinquents. Carry on~", said the woman arrogantly as she walked off gracefully. The two stared at her before sighing at the same time.
"I-I never knew the ACP allowed that kind of attitude amongst their officers.", muttered the glasses boy, a bit confused as Haku urked.
"Oh god, I know someone who wouldn't get along with her.", muttered Haku as the glasses boy looked at Haku curiously. "Hm?", asked the boy as Haku shook his head. "N-no, it's nothing. Come on, we don't wanna be any later than we already are.", said Haku as the boy nodded in agreement.

After walking for a minute or so, Haku and the boy finally arrived at St. Camelot academy, Haku stared at it with his eyes filled with wonder. A cobblestone wall modelled from what seemed to be a castle around 10 feet tall surrounded the perimeter of the school, infront of the wall were flowerbeds filled with flowers of various colors and fragrances. Haku looked further inside to see a large courtyard with stone tiles leading to the main building which was made of cobblestone, topping of the third floor of the school was a castle style roof painted a royal blue, there were even side buildings which looked like castle towers. To top it all of, at the very top of the school was a large white and blue flag with the emblem of the academy swaying in the wind.
"Wow. what am I supposed to be looking at?". asked Haku as he quickly glanced at the glasses boy who seemed to not have any problems with the academy design. He looked at Haku mysteriously, "Hm? Something wrong?", asked the boy as Haku hung his mouth slightly before closing it again.
"Who the hell decided to make this school look like they ripped it straight of disneyland?! What am I-", muttered Haku before stopping midway to massage his temples, clearly stressed out, he groaned before shaking his head.
"Y-you know what, I-I give up.", muttered Haku as he sighed beforee nudging the brown haired boy. "Hey, where's class 2-C?", asked Haku. Upon hearing that, the boy raised both his brows, "W-wait, we're classmates?", asked the boy, a bit suprised and excited. "Oh, we're classmates? Guess that makes it easy then. Lead the way, er......", said Haku, a bit confused as to what the call the boy who pushed his glasses up with a relieved smile.
"My name is Eliott Chase. I'm still confused as to what happened earlier, but well, it's nice to meet you.", said the boy named Elliot as Haku smiled.
"Well, it's a start. My name's Fuyukaze Haku, a transferee, thanks for the assist awhile ago. Nice to meet you as well.", said Haku who shook hands with Eliott, and thus began his stay at St. Camelot academy as both a student and a vigilante.......

"Would you mind explaining why you're 31 minutes late for the first day of school?", asked an old lady with gray hair in a bun, wearing a white cloak, she sat down on an oak office desk. Facing her were a bored looking Haku and a tense Elliot, both were inside a room covered by cobblestone walls. On the walls hung school banners and trophies from contests coupled with bookshelves.
"I apologize, Dean Carla, but I saw Elliot here stuck in a ditch on the way to school. He was rather stuck in there so it took me quite a bit of time to get him out.", said Haku as the Dean looked at Elliot's clothes which were worn out and dirty from throwing down the metal container from a while ago. She sighed as she rested her head on her two hands.
"Well, that being the case and since this is our first day, I will simply overlook this matter, although I will have to tell your guardians to make sure this won't happen again. I'm sure your sister will give you a proper talking, do you have any objections?.", said the dean, a bit amused, looking at Haku who shuddered at the thought.
"N-no Ma'am. I understand.", said Haku weakly as Elliot listened curiously to their conversation. The Dean closed her eyes as she smiled before looking at the two with a hopeful expectation.
"Sir Chase, you're a talented Asterium technician, on par with Technista's finest, I'm expecting a lot from you.", said the Dean as Elliot stood straight tensely. "Y-yes, Ma'am! I will live up to St. Camelot's reputation.", said Elliot with determination in his voice. The dean looked at Haku who was pretty relaxed.
"As for you, I'm expecting you to live up to Yuki's achievements in here.", said the Dean as Haku chuckled a bit.
"Well, I'll try. Although I can't possibly match her.", said Haku, with a hint of respect in his eyes. The dean smiled before standing up, "Very well, that's all I have to say. Do enjoy your stay here.", said the dean as the two bowed before leaving the room.
Outside the dean's office, Haku stretched his arms along the hallway with a royal blue carpet. Through the glass windowstill, Elliot looked at the empty streets before sighing.

"Something wrong?", asked Haku who approached Elliot who shook his head. "Man, you're a natural Aster, cool headed and to top it all of you're the little brother of one of the most record breaking students in the academy. I'm so jealous.", said Elliot as Haku looked outside silently.
"I've never thought of myself like that. In fact, I feel stupid compared to Yuki, she's out there working hard to support the two of us while trying to reform society while I'm......", muttered Haku who trailed off as he clenched his fists in frustration for a bit.
"I see...... looks like you have it rough as well.", said Elliot who sighed, "Well, never mind our pasts, let's just move forward from here yeah? Come on, we need to go on to class, follow me.", said Elliot as he walked off.
"Never mind the past huh....... Kek.", muttered Haku who snirked before walking off as well to follow Elliot.

'Woah, is that him?", muttered a male student from the back of the lecture room, where slight chatters could be heard as Haku entered the room. The lecture room was pretty wide, shaped like an auditorium, the room had around twenty students all sitting before long shared polished tables. On the center was a large blackboard and in front of it was a well groomed man in a coat, he gestured Haku to come in.
"Wow, this late for the first day.....?", muttered another student, with a bit of dissapointment in her voice while Haku heard similar chatter at the back as he walked, to the podium.
(This late....? Bruh, it's only 30 minutes.), thought Haku as he sighed while continuing, the teacher smiled at him before patting him in the back as he faced the class which piped down their noise.
"Go on, introduce yourself.", said the teacher kindly as Haku mentally sighed.
"Nice to meet you all, I'm Fuyukaze Haku. You can call me Haku.", said Haku, unimpressingly as the teacher nodded with a smile.
"Thank you, Haku. As for your seat...... you can take the corner seat beside that Lady Risa over there.", said the teacher as he pointed at a woman who was looking at Haku with expectant eyes.
(Oh God, not another one.), thought Haku, seemingly fed up as he reluctantly went up to the very back and sat beside the long hazel haired girl who took glances at him in expectation periodically, incidentally, Elliot was seated at the very front.
"All right everyone, now that we're all complete, I'll be resuming the lecture about Asterium history, in 2023, people have observed the very first set of natural Asters, you could think of them as actual born espers with superpowers which our curriculum is based on, and since then, scientists have searched for ways............",
As the teacher continued the lecture, the girl beside Haku slid him a paper hologram with manificent cursive handwriting and drawings, Haku was relatively impressed....... until he read the contents.
"Hewwo, I'm Risa Uwu, how awe you?"
Haku considered crumpling the paper then and there with a smile, but suddenly, he heard Yuki's voice in his head,
"Haku! There's a time and place for everything but not now."
(Bear with it, bear with it, bear with it........), thought Haku who was mentally struggling, but was interrupted by another paper that was slid to him,
"Is somethwing wong? :<"
Haku took the paper with a mental sigh and took out a pen to write on it as well, he took out what seemed to be a stylus and started writing on the air right above the paper, and writing started to appear over it, like a tablet, except it was on paper.
"No. I'm Haku nice to meet you :)"
The girl took the message before giving a innocently dumb smile as she wrote on it and sent it back to Haku,
"Oh! Nice to mweet you twoo! Hey, hey, let's share chat ID's >-<"
(Bruh. I-is this person sane, I'm seriousl-), thought Haku until he took a glance at her who took out her phone under the table, Haku noticed a familiar black and white phone strap before dropping his jaw. He quickly took the paper between them to write on it,
"Is that the limited edition Pengu phone strap they gave out last month?!"
The girl curiously read it, her face lit up in happiness after reading that and wrote on it excitedly,
"You know pengu?!?!? :DDDDD"
Haku took the paper again and wrote,
"Heck yeah, I've kept up since season 1 aired >.<"
"OMG same! I love how they made a slice of life show about penguins, its so wholesome ^^"
"Yep, and the characters are all so lovable"
Risa excitedly took the paper once more, but unfortunately, the teacher noticed,
"Lady Risa, may I request you to stop bothering Sir Haku? We're in the middle of class.", said the teacher sternly as Risa urked.
"U-uh, yes sir.", said Risa, who was given dissaproving looks by the other students. Elliot sighed as well as if this was a normal occurence. Upon seeing the looks given to her by the others, he willingly raised his hand.
"Sir, I was the one who initiaited the conversation. I was asking about the school, Miss Risa just responded to my questions.", said Haku as mutters could be heard around the classroom. The teacher sighed,
"Well, I'm sure you're anxious and excited about your transfer. But you have all the time outside class to ask.", said the teacher as he smiled at Haku who nodded.
"Very well, I'll continue the lecture now.", said the teacher as he turned his back to draw up the chalkboard and resumed his lecture. Risa, who was now less excited slid another paper as subtly as possible,
"Why'd you do that?"
Haku sighed as he wrote a longer response,
"Hey, I was talking to you as well, so I'm as accountable. Besides those judgemental looks the others gave you were so prententious, it made me feel nauseated,"
Risa read the response before giving a genuine smile
"Heh, thanks. I feel like we'll get along just fine as misfits :)"
Haku read the response before giving a relieved smile as his first lecture went on.

*Ding* Dong*
An old fashioned bell tolled throughout the academy as the students stood up and shuffled around for lunch time, Haku and Risa and Haku slumped back to relax for a bit. Risa gave a sigh of relief as the lecture finished.
"Oof, man, classes suck.", said Risa as she sighed while Haku nodded.
"Well, just do some reading in advance and you won't have to listen. By the way, do you know where the faculty meeting room is?", asked Haku as Risa tilted her head.
"You need something from there?", asked Risa curiously as Haku nodded. "The teacher told me to see him for my ID picture and a chat.", said Haku as Risa stood up proudly.
"Heheh! Looks like Risa here has no choice! Fine then, I'll give you my time.", said Risa with a bit of arrogance in her voice. Haku rolled his eyes,
"Yeah, yeah. I'll follow you everywhere~", said Haku jokingly as he stood up and walked out of the room with Risa,
Meanwhile, Elliot who was done fixing stuff in front, where he was seated, he looked back to Haku's seat expectantly, only to see an empty seat. His excitement eventually turned stale as he sighed,
"G-guess I'll eat by myself again.", muttered Elliot who sat down in his seat again and brought out his lunch to eat.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Risa and Haku walked along a corridor with a blue carpet rolled around in the center, just like any other hallway in the school, the two passed by the third year classrooms, which were on the first floor, to reach the faculty meeting room which was in a separate building. At least, that's what Risa told Haku.
"Hey, I really haven't said it yet, but thanks for sticking up to me there.", said Risa gratefully as Haku shrugged. "It was unfair that I didn't get punished as well. Besides, one of the things that gets to my nerves are high and mighty people who disapprove of others because of their egos.", said Haku as Risa sighed.
"You find those kinds of people here man, I'm not sure why you enrolled here, but really, in this place, if you're slightly bit different, they'll label you pretty easily. I expected you to be pretty tight when I heard your sister was THAT Yuki, but the moment I saw you, I knew you were different from these guys.", said Risa as Haku snirked.
"My older sister IS a bit strict, but other than that, I think she's just as normal as other people.", said Haku as Risa nodded.
"Ah well, let's just watch out for each other yeah?", said Risa as Haku nodded. Sooner of later, they stopped in front of a room with a plaque that says Faculty Appointment rooms.
"Ayt, I'll go in now. Thanks for showing me the way.", said Haku as Risa nodded with a smile.
"Yup yup! GLHF, I'll be back in the classroom if you need me.", said Risa as Haku nodded in understanding. After that exchange, the two finally separated. Haku looked back at the door and breathed in and out,
(Internalize in front of the teacher....... Okay.), thought Haku as he knocked softly before opening the door slowly.
"Excuse me, but is- what.", muttered Haku who attempted to greet the teacher inside the room courteously...... Only to find the same well groomed teacher a while ago, sitting down with his legs on the table while playing a handheld console. He stopped to look at Haku before sighing and putting his feet down.
"Yo. You actually came.", said the teacher whose voice was formal, was now rougher and was devoid of formality. Haku could only look at him disbelief and mutter the words,
"Wait, what?"
