It was a rather cloudy day with only a bit of sunlight seeping through the heavy clouds when Haku strolled along the academy city streets. District 1, the academy district where most schools were built on was a rather far destination for Haku who lived in district 5. He had to take the subway to arrive at the school district. Upon arriving at the station mixed with both hopeful looking students and tired looking workers, he looked around the station lobby as he brought out his flip phone.
(Which line was it again? Er..... It should be-), muttered Haku in thought until someone bumped into him. "Oof!", shouted the voice from behind Haku as he was shoved forward, making him drop his phone.
"Ah.", muttered Haku.
"O-oh crap! I-I'm so sorry about that is your phone okay?!", asked the boy while Haku picked it up and turned around to look at the person who bumped into him. The boy was wearing the same uniform as him, he had groomed brown hair and square eyeglasses. The boy had a seemingly gentle and unthreatening disposition as he bowed apologetically.
"Uh..... I don't think you have anything to apologize for. I was the idiot of just standing in the middle of the corridor.", said Haku as he pocketed his phone. "B-but your phone.", muttered the boy as Haku sighed.
"Come on, we'll be late.", said Haku as the boy raised his brow.
"Huh?", asked the boy in confusion. "Uhh, you're a 2nd year at St. Camelot too right?", asked Haku as the boy straightened up and nodded shakily. "R-right!", responded the boy, a bit rattled.

"*sigh*, I really am sorry for bumping in to you, I just feel off lately.", said the boy who was standing up beside Haku as the subway train moved. "Nah. It's fine.", said Haku as he opened a cookies and cream stick and reached out to the boy. The boy raised his hands in a refutal, "Er..... It's fine.", responded the boy while a green eco bag fell beside him.
"Oh.", muttered the boy as he picked up the bag and gave it to the old lady beside him who dropped it. "Oh, thank you dearie...... It's quite hard carrying bags when you're in my age, hahaha.", joked the old woman as the boy smiled in understanding. "If it's alright with you, I can carry your bag for you.", said the boy as the old woman raised her brows.
"How sweet of you, dearie. Alright then, I'll take you up on that. You St. Camelot students are such a nice bunch unlike those ruffians from Silverfang....... ", continued the old woman as the boy laughed along.
(How courteous.), thought Haku, seemingly not suprised as he looked at his uniform before sighing. After one stop, Haku and the boy finally had seats to spare as most of the passengers, including the old lady, had already left. "Hm, I haven't seen you around, might you be a transfer student?", asked the boy as Haku nodded and took another cookies and cream stick. "Yep. I dropped out of school for two years, including the academic freeze.", said Haku boredly as the boy listened.
"I see. Well, you seem much more competent than me, I have a feeling you'll do pretty good.", said the boy as Haku chuckled amusingly.
"Nope. My aptitude for channeling Asterium is horrid. Believe it or not, it's E ranked. The only thing I got going is my combat training and a few other techniques.", said Haku casually as the boy shrugged.
"Well, at least you have that, I'm no good with combat you see, I only got admitted here because of my technician skills.", said the boy. "Technician huh? Is it your passion.", said Haku as the boy nodded enthusiastically, "Yep! I've always admired the engineers and technicians working on Asterium technology! Especially the Aurelia.", said the boy enthusiastically, different from his usual spooked self. Although upon hearing the last word the boy let out, Haku's disposition changed.
"That so.", said Haku quietly as the boy nodded. "Heck yeah, to think that people could borrow powers from historical myths and legends, man, I'm always curious on how it works, can't get my hands on one either since there's only seven out at the moment. You need to be a real genius to actually merit one!", said the boy excitedly as Haku stayed quiet while the train ride continued.

The two finally arrived at the school station where Haku saw multiple students wearing school uniforms bustling around and chattering happily. The station was rather large, with a hangout area and a mall right outside the station, students usually gathered here, reminiscent of Shibuya's station in Japan, "This place never changes huh.", muttered Haku who looked at the boy who seemed to be a bit on guard, looking around the place as if wary of something.
"Something wrong?", asked Haku a bit curiously as the boy shook his head. "U-uh.... It's nothing. Come on, let's get to school already, I know a quick shortcut.", said the boy, a bit in a rush as he walked off while Haku raised his brows in suspicion.
After walking through a series alleys, Haku and the boy arrived at a rather large space in between buildings. It seemed to be a container area filled with metal containers at the side. In front of them was another alleyway leading to a street outside. The brown haired boy seemed to be anxious of something as he tried pacing himself faster, that was, until Haku suddenly stopped quietly.
"H-hm? What's wrong?", asked the boy as Haku drew the metal stick he hung from his pocket, he stayed quiet as the sword extended as dull blue light formed a blade on it. "H-hey.", muttered the brown haired boy with fear in his voice.
"Barrier.", muttered Haku. A thin blue barrier spread out, covering his back as an arrow hit the barrier, making it shatter. He held up his sword in front of him, ready for a fight as clapping was heard from in front of them, behind a metal crate.

"I didn't expect a student to catch on to us so quickly. How interesting.", said a voice as a man appeared from behind the crate, he had a metal platelet covering his face, but the voice beneath the mask was a deep and rough voice. Haku smiled as he faced the man off, "I was expecting to snuff out some bored delinquents waiting to ambush this guy but man this is one big bruh moment.", said Haku as the brown haired boy shook in fear and gulped.
"H-hey, s-so I-I was b-b-being watched this all this time a-after all.....?". asked the brown haired boy in a very shaky voice as his legs trembled in fear. The man chuckled amusingly, "To think you'd spare us the trouble of nabbing you by passing through this solitary alley. You're either very brave, or very foolish.", said the man as Haku sighed.
"No, I just didn't think you'd be after this guy. Who put you up to this?", asked Haku calmly as the brown haired boy was paralyzed in fear. "Well, you're free to guess. What I'm here for is that boy over there, I need you alive though.", said the knight as the brown haired boy shook his head. "I-I haven't d-done anything, l-leave me alone......", pleaded the boy, clearly rattled as the knight sighed. "No can do, a job's a job. I suppose I'll have to finish this quickly.", said the knight as he took out a stone with some sort of rune inscribed in it. Haku grew even more wary as the stone glowed, quickly transforming into a sword, light enveloped the man's body as armor platelets formed around his body. After a few seconds, the man was clothed in a distinct mail with markings unknown to Haku. Blue lines pulsed on his sword as he stood in front of the two menacingly. However, despite the transformation the enemy had gone through, Haku who was stiff slowly lightened his stance.
"I see now.", chuckled Haku as the brown haired boy looked at him in confusion. Haku's face of amusement immediately turned dead serious, he immediately threw down a small ball as smoke enveloped the area, blocking everyone's eyesight. "It's no use, you can hide behind these crates but you're trapped, like mice..", exclaimed the knight as the smoke faded, the two were no longer there.
Behind a crate at the side of the opening between alleyways, Haku let go of the brown haired boy who he pulled over before the smoke faded. Haku took out his flipphone before typing into it and showing it to the boy who read it shakily as desperation rocked his look.
(You feeling okay? Too bad, It doesn't matter for now. But if you wanna live through this, you have to put it together. It's do or die.)
The boy gulped as he shakily hovered his hands mid air as if typing something, after typing something mid air shakily, he showed a hologram to Haku with an incredibly mistyped sentence.
(Wgat are yoi goinh to do?)
Haku sighed as he typed another sentence then showed it to the boy,
(Dude's not bothering to look for us. He got us cornered after all, I'll keep this short, do you have any Astrium gadgets with you?)
The boy gulped before shakily nodding and typing another sentence as quickly as he can with his fingers that he wouldn't stop shaking.
(I onky havr 1 mass distabilizwr)
Haku read the message before typing a long message into the fliphone before handing it to the boy who received it. Haku stood up with a sigh as he sheathed his light sword. The boy shook his head rapidly, as he whispered,
"W-where are you g-going?", asked the boy shakily and insecurely as Haku gave an amused smile as he took a miniature dragon mask, which expanded into a fully sized mask. He wore it and smiled,
"Isn't that obvious? I'm off to fight.", said Haku.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A frizzy dark blue haired boy with a dragon mask casually walked up to the man in armor who stood guard in front of the exit, upon seeing Haku casually walk up outside his hiding spot he chuckled,
"Oh? You're approaching me? Instead of staying behind you're approaching me?", asked the knight as Haku smiled.
"I can't ask you a few questions without getting closer.", said Haku.
"Hou, then ask as you like.", said the knight as Haku nodded contently.
"That unknown Aurelia of yours....... It wasn't given to you by who I think it is right?", asked Haku as the knight tilted his head. "Of course, there's only one man who can make them.", said the knight as Haku chuckled while deep blue sparks lighted in his hand.
"I see then, looks like I won't have to go easy on you. You see, I've got a few personal issues with your employer.", said Haku as his smile faded into a face of seriousness. Lightning sparks erupted around him as he glared down at the knight who grew even more wary and raised his sword which pulsed even more.
"Who......the hell are you?", asked the knight cautiously as his hairs stood on end at the shoking atmosphere Haku gave off. Sparks erupted around Haku as he glared at the knight, without contempt, without prejudice, just like a wolf staring at his prey, he spoke as he held his hands forward as if grasping a sword while sparks ran everwhere.
"I'm Fuyukaze Haku, remember that name, because I'll be the one to bring that piece of trash Aurelius down from his seat. That is my rebellion.", said Haku coldly as a shining platinum blade with a dark blue hilt manifested in his hands, seemingly making the lightning even more agitated. The man grasped his sword, ready to fight.
"That's why if you're still going to stand there, then you're going to be first in line!", shouted Haku as he dashed forward, the sparks trailed in his wake as he ran up to the knight in an inhuman pace. He waved his sword against the man's who showed a suprised expression for a second before regaining his composture. Sparks flew as their swords collided, the two clashed their swords once more, it seemed as first that Haku was faster, but surely, the knight's strikes were heavier and more composed, compared to Haku's lighter yet faster and more rushed blows. Haku's face was a constant face of silent concentration as he tried hitting the man's vital spots only for the man to adeptly block his strikes. Clearly, the man was incredibly proficient. Haku then tried to circle around and hit the man from the side, seeing Haku take this approach, he immediately backed away from Haku, without letting his back unguarded.
(Hmph. This guy.......), muttered Haku as he sighed and brandished his sword, with sparks flowing around it. "Hey, how about we finish this up? I still have school to go to y'know.", said Haku as he breathed deeply and focused, making the sparks turn into cracks of lightning as his mind grew sharper. "I agree, I didn't expect to fight someone of your level, much less a student, but I'm afraid I still have a job.", said the man as the lines on his blade pulsed even brighter. Haku's sense grew sharper as electricity gathered around his blade even more furiously as he put his all in one final strike. Doing so, he ran up to the man with his sword held low and aimed upwards. The knight smiled under his platelet as if he had already won.
(He's gonna strike from below. Once he does, I'll stop him even for a second, then Robin wil have the chance to shoot him. Victory is mine.), thought the man as he looked to the back where his partner bowman was waiting to strike. But at that moment, Haku's movement swiftly changed.
"NOW!", shouted Haku as if he was talking to someone else, he threw his sword at the knight. The sword immediately became one with the lightning sparks and turned into a stream of lightning hurled at the man. Such a move was a complete throw, at least, normally. At that same moment, the brown haired boy pushed a crate that was placed right above another crate behind the knight and sent it falling behind him. Meanwhile, Haku had already rolled past the man after throwing his sword, bypassing the falling crate that had it's mass altered by a gadget that the brown haired boy had. Behind the crate, the knight heard voices,
"Glasses! We're bouncing for now!", shouted Haku in a rush as footsteps were heard.
"M-my name's not glasses!", shouted the other boy as their voices faded off from the site of the battle. After the last bit of lightning faded, the knight stared back at the crate and sighed at how he had been pulled one over.
"Wow.", said the knight dissapointingly as a man in a hooded cloak appeared beside him, at his belt hung a bowgun.
"Hahaha, that was pretty amusing.", said the man who seemed to have gotten entertainment out of the skirmish that had just occured. "Hm, to think we'd find a real Aster so brazenly.", said the knight as the man in the hooded cloak hummed in agreement.
"The frizzy haired boy's talent aside, his wits are something else. To think he'd find such a way to block my field of vision while one upping you at the same time. Heh, if only he wasn't spouting that crap about taking the big boss down, he'd be a perfect accomplice.", said the bowman as the knight closed his eyes and smiled amusingly.
"Is it really crap though?", asked the knight as the bowman chuckled. "Surely, you don't think he can actually make a difference?", asked the bowman as the knight looked up at the sky.
"Who knows? It all depends on his effort and fortune. What's for sure is that he surely has conviction, whether it's misguided or not is not something we can say.", said the knight as the bowman yawned.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever we learned from this, we failed our task spectacularly. Guess I'ma hafta pop some cold ones later to forgot about my misery. You with me?", asked the bowman as the knight chuckled.
"You never change do you? Very well, I'll join you for a bit.", said the knight as the bowman grinned. "Now that's what I'm talking about.", said the bowman as the two left the scene of the fight.
