As I leave the forge of Hephaestus, I conclude returning to Crete at this time would be inconvenient, so I instead decide to stay the night at Troy, which is in the immediate vicinity of Mount Ida. As I enter the city, I admire its walls and architecture. I also notice a small chaos among the citizens, evidently because two of their gods have gone missing.
As I wander the city, planning what my next move should be, I decide some sleep will clear my mind and help me think. I rent a room at a nearby inn and make myself comfortable for the night…
----------------------------------------
I am standing… somewhere. Wait, I recognize this place. The Veil is right in front of me. Now is my chance! I motion to cast a spell to open it, but, finding myself nude, I instead begin pulling it apart with my bare hands. After what feels like hours of effort, I pull apart a small crack in it, big enough to look through. I peek my eye through, and what I see absolutely horrifies me.
It mostly appears to be darkness, but off in the distance I see two lights. One is red, and the other is yellow. However, between me and those lights is something I have never seen before. An absolutely gargantuan serpent, its size must be seventeen suns long. The Leviathan. My mind almost cannot comprehend its size. I gasp when I realize it has slowly turned its head towards me and is moving to the crack in the Veil.
----------------------------------------
I awaken. If my body could sweat, it would be sweating. Instead, it is secreting an unusual amount of flux. I get out of bed and don my gear once again. Perhaps sleep is something I should leave behind. I leave my room and walk back out into Troy once again.
Although nightmarish, sleeping did in fact refresh my mind and give me new ideas. Unfortunately, God has given me no time to enact my plans. As I walk, I hear someone shout, "Look! Up above! The gods descend upon us!" My head darts to the sky. Above me, blocking the sun, is a multitude of gods. Wait. That’s not just two or three gods. That must be every single fucking god in the Greek pantheon. There’s no way I can take them all at once…
The large group of deities makes ground zero directly in front of me. I notice everyone else in the street was bowing to them. Misplaced faith truly makes me feel horrible.
As they look around, they notice I am not bowing. "Son, why do you not bow?" Says an old man with a white beard I presume is Zeus. I get one shot at this. If I can get them all close enough I might be able to crush my Impetus Cannon’s code and catch them all in the blast.
"Because the God I serve is the God of Abraham, not any of you." Zeus raises an eyebrow and looks around at his fellow gods. They suddenly all begin laughing. The citizens around us have horrified looks on their faces.

"Boy, I suppose the intelligence I’ve been told is true. You herald from another dimension! Come, we have much to discuss." He gestures me to grab his hand.
"Before I make myself your guest, tell me this. Is it true you run rampant raping young women, and then allow your wife to unleash her wrath upon them as if it was their own faults?" Zeus’s expression hardens. He looks to a middle-aged woman I infer is Hera. She scowls at him.
"How… how dare you. You think you hold the right to insult me like this? To turn down an invitation from the gods? You truly are a foolish mortal!" He begins walking away from me. "Poseidon, kill him." An old man with a trident emerges from the group and throws it directly at me. I catch it midair. The crowd gasps, and Zeus turns around in shock.
"Impossible," he says. I quickly pull out my Impetus Cannon and boot it up. Poseidon begins backing up. I am the cannon at Zeus, but just before I can shoot him, he pulls another robed man, who I assume is Dionysus, in front of him. My blast hits him instead, and his soul is disconnected from his body as it falls limp. Everyone stands absolutely shocked for almost a full minute. I stay still, too, as I don’t know who will make the next move.
My heart pounds. Birds fly overheard. The civilians breathe heavily, their faces to the ground. Someone scratches their boot against the cobbled road. A dog barks. The rays of the sun illuminate the town square like a trillion needles.
Someone sneezes, and the scene jumps into motion once again. All the gods charge at me at once. I notice a few stay back and begin consolidating vis into their arms to cast spells. I also charge at the gods. I draw my primal cutter, and it clashes with the blades of Ares, who of course lead the charge. The other gods using melee weapons, namely Athena and Hercules, rush to my sides and attempt to strike me. My runic shielding deflects both attacks, but the sheer strength Hercules put into his most definitely damaged it. My media isn’t powerful enough to completely take over theirs, but I can at least confuse them for a time to prevent them from attacking. I do the same to Ares, whose sword swings now go in seemingly random directions. I plunge my primal cutter through his chest and begin channeling my soul’s energy directly through it.
The other gods finish casting their spells. Hades launches a ball of green fire, and Hera releases a bright beam of light. Zeus watches, amusing himself with the battle. Both spells fizzle helplessly against my flux. Ares screams in pain and agony still, but manages to grab my head and headbutt me, which throws me off enough to stop channeling soul energy and media. He kicks me off and charges at me again. Before he reaches me, however, I cast a Doombolt at him, and it’s presumably enough to finish him off, as he flops to the ground, dead. Zeus claps his hands before Athena and Hercules resume their assault.
"You know, the whole reason we came here today was to offer you a proposition. When I heard you have been killing gods from that strange old man, I almost couldn’t believe it. But then he showed me this." Zeus pulls out a small purple sphere. It takes me a moment, but I recognize it as my destroyed Nefarium spell focus.
"Where the fuck did you get that?"
"Ah! Hit a nerve, did I? A man willing to destroy an entire dimension just to save himself can’t be much better than us, can he?"
