Qiang Feng continued to run through the forest, his mind racing with thoughts of what could be happening in the village. Despite his concerns for Li Mei's safety, he knew that returning to the village would be too risky. Not only could it jeopardize his family( him being harmed or kidnapped it could indirectly harm his family), but he also knew that Li Mei had powerful backing that could protect her.
As he ran deeper into the forest, he activated his constitution to enhance his speed. The trees blurred past him as he focused on reaching a safe distance from the village. With each step, he could feel his heart pounding in his chest, but he pushed himself to go faster.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he arrived at a small clearing deep in the forest.
Qiang Feng quickly swallowed some energy recovery pills and took a few gulps of water, knowing that he needed to replenish his strength. As he reached for his backpack to pack up his belongings, he heard a voice from behind him. "Thought you could run," the voice said, followed by an attack that caught Qiang Feng off guard. He frantically tried to defend himself, but the force of the attack sent him flying backwards.
"Oh, you're still alive," the attacker sneered. Qiang Feng quickly got up, his wounded hand already healed thanks to his regeneration talent. As he looked towards the masked man with a sword, he heard Moria's warning, "Be careful, he's not alone." More masked men appeared, surrounding him from all directions. "The weakest among them is a second level foundation building cultivator, but watch out, the one who attacked you is an enlightenment stage expert," Moria cautioned.
Qiang Feng quickly assessed the situation, realizing that he was outnumbered and outmatched. He asked Moria, "What should I do?" Moria responded calmly, "You have two options, fight or flee, this will be interesting"
As the enemies surrounded him, Qiang Feng knew that he had to fight. He couldn't let them take him down easily, and he definitely couldn't let them harm his family. He dodged and attacked, moving swiftly and killing the man who had attacked him. It was his first time killing someone, and he felt a pang of guilt, but he knew it was necessary to survive. In a few seconds, the enemies were surprised, and Qiang Feng took advantage of their shock to prepare for the next wave of attacks. He managed to calm himself and picked up the sword of the person he had just killed, using it to fend off the attackers.
Moria watched in awe as Qiang Feng fought with skill and determination. He had never seen someone fight like this before, especially someone so young, ' no, there was that person' he thought.

The other masked men attacked together, but Qiang Feng continued to hold his own. The fight was long and bloody, but Qiang Feng refused to back down. He suppressed his emotions and focused on the task at hand, killing his enemies one by one. The leader didn't attack, but instead watched from a distance. Qiang Feng knew that he had to take down the leader if he wanted to win this fight.
As the last masked man fell to the ground, Qiang Feng's eyes darted towards the leader who stood still. He quickly stuffed a few pills into his mouth and painted his sword towards the leader, who was clearly the most powerful among them.
Qiang Feng stood ready for the leader's next move, his sword held tightly in his hand. The leader looked at Qiang Feng with a mix of horror and disbelief, amazed at the young man's skill in battle. "You little monster," the leader said with a nervous smile, "my orders were just to capture you, but now you're as good as dead."
Qiang Feng was ready for the fight, his eyes focused on the leader. The leader, who was wielding a fiery sword, started the attack. Qiang Feng quickly dodged the first strike and retaliated with a fierce attack of his own. The leader blocked it with his sword and sent a wave of fire towards Qiang Feng.
Qiang Feng swiftly transformed into his awakened form, his body glowing with golden light. He charged towards the leader with incredible speed and strength. The leader tried to counterattack with his fire sword, but Qiang Feng dodged it easily and landed a powerful blow on his opponent.
The fight continued for what felt like an eternity, both combatants equally matched in terms of skill and power. The leader was a formidable opponent, using his fire element to create waves of flames and throwing fireballs at Qiang Feng. But Qiang Feng was no ordinary cultivator. He used his awakened form to its full potential, unleashing devastating attacks that left the leader struggling to keep up.
Finally, after a long and grueling fight, Qiang Feng landed the finishing blow. The leader fell to the ground, defeated. Qiang Feng's body returned to its original form as he panted heavily, his body covered in sweat and blood.
At first Qiang Feng wanted to kill him and end it all, he had suppressed his emotions enough. 'Just a little bit more', he lowered his gaze towards the leader on the ground, "Who sent you?" Qiang Feng asked, but there was no response. He took the sword and stabbed the leader's limbs one by one. It didn't take even a minute till the leader started talking. "It was the Yin family who sent us. They wanted to kidnap you" the leader revealed. Qiang Feng's eyes narrowed in anger. "Why?" he demanded. "I don't know the details, but they were promised a large sum of money if they succeeded," the leader explained. Qiang Feng clenched his fists. "Where can I find them?" he asked, pointing the sword towards the leader's neck.
After learning where he could find them, Qiang Feng killed the leader, but as he deactivated his awakening, he felt a sudden wave of nausea. He threw up repeatedly, unable to control his body's reaction to the violent act he had just committed. The sensation was overwhelming, and he finally felt something give way inside him. Qiang Feng split blood for the first time, the shock of what he had done catching up to him in an unexpected way. He knew that he would have to kill again eventually, but the suddenness of it all was too much for him to handle.
