6- Plotting

In Donghai town, atop the mountain where the Qiang family's castle was situated, Qiang Hu walked towards a room and said, "Uncle, I have come here to report something." A voice came from inside the room, "Come in."

As Qiang Hu entered the room, he saw his great uncle, who was surprisingly young. It wasn't because the great uncle was born late, but because he had a high cultivation realm. A person who just advanced to the enlightenment stage could easily live for 300 years. Qiang Hu didn't feel jealous, he knew that he was only one minor level away from his uncle's cultivation level, he had almost the sam longevity.

"What do you want to report?" the uncle asked. "Qiang Feng awoke his body constitution," Qiang Hu replied, unsure whether he should feel happy or sad.

The uncle was surprised, but he managed to conceal it and asked, "To what extent did he awaken it?"

"I'm not entirely sure," the father admitted. "One day, he simply came to my room and told me he had awakened his body constitution and wanted to leave to explore the world. From what I have seen, he broke through five levels in a single night, so he must have awakened more than half of it."

The uncle was unsure of how to react and replied, "I assume that you didn't stop him, well, he was raised by his grandfather, so I guess he takes after him. I remember when he awoke his high human body, he made use of the rules to throw all responsibility on me and left."

Qiang Feng revealed, "Speaking of my father, he has sent a message indicating that he will have a breakthrough soon, and if possible, he'll try to return before it happens."

"I still have a month or two," the uncle responded thoughtfully, "but he is not only older than me, he also awakened his constitution before I did. The only reason he didn't reach an even higher realm is because he keeps messing around and doesn't take his cultivation seriously."

Qiang Hu nodded, acknowledging that his father was just as talented as himself, but he believed he would soon catch up to him. His father had spent most of his time traveling, especially in the mortal region where Qi was scarce, if not for his talent he believed that his father will stay as a mortal for his whole life.

In a town similar in size to Donghai, there stood a massive mansion that obviously belonged to the ruler of the city. In the courtyard, a group of people gathered around a table. One man, dressed in white, addressed the group, "Gentlemen." Then, he turned to the only lady present and said, "My lady, you should all know the reason why I invited you here. The Qiang family is about to become a level 2 faction very soon. Once that happens, they will not only gain sovereignty over us, but they will also seek revenge for what we did to them before."

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

"What's so special about it?" a man in a blue dress spoke up. "We will do what we did before and kill them before anyone can break through. Even if they succeed, all we have to do is team up against the new Divine Sea experts. We've done it before, and we will do it again."

"No, this time is different," the man in white clothes said firmly. "There are three people who will likely break through at the same time. We need to plan this very carefully."

"But I have never participated in this, and there's no grudge between my faction and theirs," the lady protested.

"Your faction may not have a grudge, but you, my dear, do you think the Qiang family doesn't know what you did?" the man in white clothes retorted.

"You! How did you find out?" the lady screamed at him.

"That's not important. What's important is that if I know, then the Qiang family probably knows too," the man in white clothes replied.

The lady was taken aback and remained silent. The man continued, "We need a plan, or we are doomed." Just as he said that, a figure appeared behind him and whispered in his ear. For some reason, he smiled and said, "I think we have our plan."

......

Returning to Qiang Feng, a whole month had passed since he entered the forest. As he travelled, he fought like a madman with any beast that came searching for him. He would lure them out with his aura and make sure that he was in a suitable place for a fight. Qiang Feng was determined to hone his combat skills and improve his cultivation.

During this time, his cultivation had risen to the seventh level of the foundation building stage. He was now several levels higher than most cultivators his age, and his strength was evident in his fights with the beasts. He had gained more control over his body constitution and had learned to channel his power with more precision, making his attacks more effective.

The forest was vast and endless, and Qiang Feng had only explored a small portion of it. There were still many secrets to uncover, and he had a feeling that there were other cultivators in the forest as well. He had encountered a few while hunting for beasts, but they were all weak compared to him. Qiang Feng was hoping to find someone closer to his level of cultivation, someone he could spar with to further improve his combat skills.

Despite the danger and the constant fights, Qiang Feng was enjoying himself. He felt alive, and the thrill of battle was addictive. He knew he couldn't stay in the forest forever, but he was in no hurry to leave. He wanted to make the most of his time there and become even stronger before facing the challenges that awaited him outside the forest.

Qiang Feng was both surprised and relieved when he stumbled upon the small village that wasn't marked on his map. It was a stroke of luck that he came across it, as the map he had only showed the general regions between the Donghai town and the Seven Stars city. He had been traveling for weeks and was in dire need of rest and supplies, so he decided to enter the village cautiously.

As he walked through the quiet village, he couldn't help but notice the peculiar stares of the locals. They seemed to recognize him as an outsider, and Qiang Feng could sense their wariness towards him. Despite this, he made his way to a small inn at the edge of the village and requested a room for the night. He hoped to rest up and gather some information about the area before continuing his journey.
