11-Finally a fuc*king city

After walking for some time, Qiang Feng finally found a safe spot to cultivate. He took out the core from the wolf he had killed earlier and began absorbing its energy.

"Next time, don't tell me to shut up. How could I have warned you?" Moria said, mockingly.

Qiang Feng was about to respond, but Moria continued speaking. "But seriously, if you use the core, you will be able to comprehend the lightning element, but..."

"But what?" Qiang Feng asked, annoyed.

"I may or may not have the ability to control the energy inside you, so you will never have to deal with a bottleneck," Moria said, teasingly.

Qiang Feng stared at Moria, and Moria stared back at him. They stayed like that for 15 seconds, until Qiang Feng finally gave up. "Ok fine, I apologize for cursing you and telling you to shut up."

"That wasn't hard, was it?" Moria said. "Okay, go start absorbing the energy and enter the comprehension state. I would have suggested you drink some alcohol to smooth the process, but you're still fifteen."

Qiang Feng followed Moria's instructions and began absorbing the energy. Moria did his thing, and Qiang Feng felt his body being flooded with lightning energy. He closed his eyes and entered a state of meditation, allowing the energy to flow freely through him.

As he meditated, Qiang Feng felt his body changing. The lightning energy was fusing with his own energy, strengthening his body and improving his cultivation base. He could feel the power coursing through his veins, and it was unlike anything he had ever experienced before.

For hours, Qiang Feng remained in the same position, absorbing the energy and allowing it to transform him. When he finally opened his eyes, he felt a surge of power flow through him. He had broken through to the enlightenment stage!

Qiang Feng stood up, feeling the power coursing through his body. He looked over at Moria, who was grinning from ear to ear. "Well, it seems you were right. That core was really something," Qiang Feng said, impressed.

Qiang Feng chuckled, feeling a sense of satisfaction. He had overcome his previous obstacles and had made a significant breakthrough in his cultivation. But he knew that this was only the beginning. There was still much more he needed to accomplish.

"Come on, let's get moving. We still have a long way to go," Qiang Feng said, shouldering his bag and setting off towards the horizon.

As they walked, Qiang Feng felt a renewed sense of purpose. He was no longer the naive boy who had set out on this journey. Even with his family's standards he will be counted as a powerful cultivator.

After a few months in the forest, Qiang Feng lost track of time. If not for Moria's reminders, he wouldn't even know how long it had been since he first entered the dense wilderness. His daily routine consisted of walking, fighting beasts and sometimes humans, all in the pursuit of strength and power. Despite the dangers, he had managed to amass a huge collection of beast cores, more than he could ever use. However, there were a few things that were worth noting in his journey so far.

Stolen story; please report.

Firstly, he had acquired a spatial ring, which was quite valuable and made it much easier to carry his spoils. Secondly, he had comprehended multiple elements using the beast cores, but he kept lightning as his main element since he enjoyed it the most. Thirdly, his cultivation had improved greatly, and he had reached the second level of the enlightenment stage. He could feel the energy within him grow stronger with each passing day.

As he continued his journey, Qiang Feng eventually reached the end of the continent. What he saw next shocked him even more than the realization that the second continent started with a desert.

The sky above him was dark, and the air was filled with a sense of foreboding. In the distance, he could see a massive storm cloud brewing, crackling with lightning that illuminated the horizon. He had never seen anything like it before, and it made him feel uneasy.

Qiang Feng knew that he had to tread carefully if he wanted to survive in this new and unfamiliar environment. The dangers he had faced in the forest were nothing compared to what may lay ahead of him. He had to be ready for anything, and he had to be stronger than ever before.

Qiang Feng gritted his teeth as he took his first step into the vast expanse of the desert. He could feel the heat radiating off the sand, scorching his skin even through his clothes. He knew he had to be careful, as the desert was notorious for its deadly sandstorms. But even as he hesitated, he saw the dark clouds on the horizon and heard the rumble of thunder. "Fuck it," he muttered under his breath before taking a deep breath and striding forward. He knew he had to move quickly if he wanted to find shelter before the storm hit. As he walked, he could feel the sand shifting under his feet, making every step a challenge. But he refused to be deterred, his determination to press forward unwavering even in the face of danger.

The storm clouds in the distance only added to his unease, but he gritted his teeth and began to make his way forward, slowly ascending the first sand dune.

As he reached the top of the dune, he was surprised to see the outline of a city in the distance. It had been so long since he had seen civilization that tears came to his eyes. "Finally," he murmured, feeling a sense of relief and hope wash over him. Without a second thought, he began to run towards the city, eager to leave the harsh desert behind.

But as he neared the city's walls, a guard appeared and barked at him to halt. Qiang Feng skidded to a stop, startled by the sudden confrontation. The guard demanded to see his identification badge or asked him to pay a fee of two gold coins and answer some questions. Qiang Feng opted for the latter, handing over the coins and answering the guard's inquiries with growing impatience.

When the guard asked him his name, Qiang Feng responded without hesitation. "Han Qiang." The guard's eyes narrowed as he asked for Qiang Feng's origin. "Donghai town," Qiang Feng replied, feeling a sense of unease creeping up on him. The guard then asked him why he was visiting the city. "Coincidence," Qiang Feng said, knowing that it was a flimsy excuse. The guard then asked where he was headed, and Qiang Feng replied truthfully, "The Seven Stars City."

The guard gave him a suspicious look and asked why he hadn't taken the teleportation array. Confused, Qiang Feng asked what teleportation array the guard was referring to. "The Donghai town is the source of many of the manpower that the Seven Stars City uses," the guard explained. "So they established a teleportation array there. Wait, don't tell me you crossed the whole Great Forest and the Savage Continent alone. What's your level?"

Qiang Feng hesitated for a moment before reluctantly answering. "Second level Enlightenment Stage."
