Daniel just walks and walks 'till he reached a bend in the river. Originally, it's led toward the south, but it's got separated into two channels, one keeps going south and another one going east.

Across the river in the south east is a desert, in which another person is currently running towards him in haste.

Or, upon a closer inspection, running towards the river.

He is a dark skinned man, with brown hair.

In all his hurry, he failed to noticed Daniel's presence across the river.

So, hesitantly, he called out. "Hello?"

When the person looks up, Daniel noticed that he have a rough face, more like a thugh, really.

Usually, Daniel leery to deals with this kind of person, but he is the first person that he meet on this place. And he got several unanswered question on his mind. So, he tried to steeling himself and asked politely.

"Hello?" Daniel said. "Can you understand me?"

"Yes, sure, what of it?" He replied curtly.

"Are you a native?" Daniel said.

"No, why?"

"It's just that, i have several question."

"Well, so am i."

Awkward.

The person just stood there, staring at him. So, Daniel tried to find another topic of conversation.

"Don't you get tired of shouting at each other?" They have been shouting across the river to be heard by each other.

"Why don't you swim here, then?" He said, annoyed.

"I, uh, don't really wanted to go to the desert."

"Fine, wait for me there." With that statement, he then flung himself to the river and swim across.

When he finally got there, he is dripping wet. Luckily, there is no monster attacking him when he is swimming.

Daniel shift his sword to his left hand, and then extending his freed right hand to shake.

"Daniel Dew." He said.

"Adam Scoutman." He have a very firm grip.

"So, uh, how do you got here?" Daniel ask.

"Don't know, i was just sitting in front of my tv, and then, here." Adam answered. "What about you?"

"The same, one moment i was walking to my house, and then, i was in some sort of forest."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

And then, silence.

"What do you think this place is?" Daniel ask.

"Some sort of VR or something?"

"Nah, man, we don't have that kind of technology, not this kind of realness, anyway."

"But, it's weird."

"Weird, how?"

"I have got this Class, [Barbarian], after i beat some kind of lizard." Adam said. "And... Item, i guess." He said as he showed Daniel his fists.

"The gloves?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah." Adam confirmed. "What about you?"

"I have got a [Warrior] Class, and this sword and this bottle." Daniel showed him.

"Oh." Adam said.

"So, what happens now?"

Adam shrugged both of his shoulders.

"Noticed anything useful in there?" Daniel asked as he pointed his chin toward the desert.

"No, just sands all over."

"Well," Daniel said. "I came from that way." He pointed toward his back. "It's got a forest, far nicer from the desert, in my opinion. Wanna go there?"

"Sure." Adam agreed.

"Let's go, then." He turn his back and started walking. After awhile, he noticed the sound of Adam's footsteps behind him.

Daniel's not sure what just happens, but he just hoped that, whatever it is, it's a good thing.
