When they arrive to the entrance, they saw the big impact of that explosion to the entrance. The damage of that explosion was very severe that it will take too long before they can leave.

The three heard it clearly, but for some reason they understood a bit what Cien said like it was sound a threat to them.

“BASTARD HUMAN! I WILL SKIN YOU ALIVE IF I GET OUT OF HERE!” the leader beastman shouted when Cien begin to leave.

After almost hours of walking, Cien looked haggard and tired for this many hours of chasing by different species and now he fought to this five beastman as only one person, this many hours were very exhausted because he used his physical and mental capacity and he was already in his limit.

When Cien stepped outside to the cave, a radiating sun that gave his eyes a surprise because he was staying for too long in the dark cave. He didn’t wait to make his eyes comfortable and run to the high ground to see Divina and Dreg situation.

Cien run to the high ground and saw one beastman guarding the two human who was badly injured.

The beastman was drooling uncontrollably and secretly licking the wound of the two humans to taste their blood.

‘Should I eat this human? I think is not bad eating a slice of this human. Maybe a finger is good enough hehehehe’ the beastman said. his thought was clouded by eating this human in pleasure.

he goes to the near of Divina, Divina was unconscious as she was fainted when they chased Cien into the cave and Dreg was also unconscious.

The beastman went behind of Divina, he was preparing his sharp knife to slice the hand of Divina. He was uncontrollably shaking in pleasure as he put the knife on the finger of Divina. Divina finger begin bleeding because his finger was cut a bit by the sharp knife of that beastman.

Divina frown because she felt a tingling pain on her finger.

“How does it feel a sword penetrated to your throat? Does it feel relief or painful to you? Oh, I forgotten you cannot talk. Then I will pull it out” Cien said casually.

Cien pulled out the short sword as the green blood of that beastman gushed out. It splattered to the body of Cien and Divina.

The beastman laying down while instinctively blocking his throat with his hand to stop the bleeding but it was impossible to survive in that situation where your throat penetrated. He looked to his killer and he saw a human who he remembered last time that this is the human who his kin tribe chased in the cave. That’s when he gives an insight what happened to his tribe kin.

“So… they… died…” he said in low voice while a lot of green blood gushed out to his mouth.

“Oh, you still have an energy to talk in that situation you’re in” Cien said. he looked a bit surprised that this beastman can still talk to his situation.

“This guy was pretty resilient holding his last breath than other beastman I face off” Cien said.

But Cien was very cautious, he penetrated the foot of this dead beastman by short sword he was holding. After he was already assured that the beastman died, he begins untying the rope that shackle Divina and Dreg.

After he done untying them, he laying down them on the ground and taking care their wound by putting bandage to a certain wound. He was waiting for them to wake up themselves.

Time passed by, Divina and Dreg woke up at the same time.

“Huhh…” Divina said, she groaned in pain. Divina opened her eyes and she saw Cien face near him that made him surprised and joyful.

“BROTHER!!” Divina said in joyful reaction. She hugged him tightly while crying. Cien slowly patting his sister on back while she was crying.

“I’m scared brother, I’m scared that I will never see you again…” she hugged Cien tightly while crying.

“You’re safe now, brother was here so don’t worry…” Cien slowly patting her on the back and comforting him. She sobs more when she heard what Cien said.

“I’m sorry that your brother took too long to arrive… it’s okay I already here…”

“Brother I’m scared… I’m scared… I’m scared….” Divina crying out to the shoulder of Cien. Cien still slowly patting her on back.

“It’s okay… it’s okay… brother is already here…” Cien said in a comforting way. Divina slowly closing her eyes tiredly and begin sleeping. She was mentally and physically exhausted that happening to these many hours that unbearable to a normal kid.

While Cien was comforting Divina, he looked to Dreg and said to him “Thank you Dreg for being with us and taking care my younger sister”.

Dreg nodded and smiled to Cien. He hands gestures something to Cien and said something.

“Don’t worry about it, that’s what I should do as a brother. That’s what family are for” he smiled while saying it.

“You’re more reliable than me, Dreg”

“You flatter me too much. I only did is being by her side”

“That’s why you’re more reliable and important than me. I’m more assured when you’re in her side”

Dreg didn’t see that coming, he was shocked when he heard Cien said that to him. he felt delighted and happy that someone was on his side and a family that considering his existence. Like his existence was very important to them. he felt that a stone on his chest was lifted.
