“Ah I forgot to ask mom, what is the name of my grandfather? I asked this question before but you didn’t answer mother” Theo said curiously.

Eliza sat to the height of Theo and said face to face while smiling.

“Ulrich Sader, he was your mother savior and father figure. Even though that old man is crazy about money and adventure, he was the one that adopted me when I was sleeping in the street and take good care of me like his own daughter when I was child and low in life” Eliza said with deep emotion.

Theo was shocked to the revelation of the past of his mother and curious for the whole story of his mother when she was child.

“Mom, what happened to your parent and my grand-parent?” Theo said and he want to knew his mother past.

Eliza became silent, feeling complicated. her eyes full of sadness and hatred when she remembered the past.

“Your father is going home late and he will come home later evening even though how busy his schedule to manage the clan he will arrive Just to welcome your grandfather” Eliza said while smiling and caressed Theo hair.

This afternoon

In the gate of the Azert house many people was standing including the servants and the guards patrolling but only two people that stand out to everyone because of their expensive clothes. A gorgeous woman and a toddler were waiting to someone.

The carriage stopped in front of the gate. An old man with a black curly hair, blue eyes, and black skin got out with a plain smile Infront of the two.

Theo first impression to Ulrich was he look ordinary old man on outside and a friendly old man that easy to get along.

“How have you been, Eliza? It’s been a long time since i saw you” Ulrich greeted while laughing and hugged Eliza after.

“The same as always doing my duty as a mother of my child and a wife of the lord, father how’s your adventure in the outside?” Eliza hugged Ulrich with a joy like she only saw his father for the first time.

“When you said that, I reminisced about my adventure this many years, it’s was a long story. Therefore, it will take many months before I can finish my story” Ulrich having euphoria when he remembered his past adventure that he eager to tell everyone and he laughed while jokingly said.

“As always you still not changed, you still the same old self of you father” Eliza laughed when he looking the expression of Ulrich.

Ulrich looked embarrassed by the laugh of Eliza. His interest piqued when he saw a child beside Eliza, he changed the embarrassing atmosphere by looking at Theo that standing confidently and changing the topic.

“Oh is this Theo my grandchild, Eliza? I heard about you Theo to the letter of your mother sent to me. You look already a man to me” Ulrich handshake Theo. Theo was shocked when Ulrich treated him like an adult.

Eliza only nodded and smiled when looked to her child.

“Good afternoon grandpa, Thank you for the compliment grandfather but I’m not as a manly as you. I’m only a child that cannot fathom to grandfather experience to the world” Theo respectfully bowed and greeted. He intentionally glazing his grandfather to get along with him.

“Being called grandpa is not bad” Ulrich laughed when he heard Theo said and saw his manner.

“This child is a clever. You really take good care him Eliza. He was different to other toddler that the same age of his, good” Ulrich was surprised to the manner of Theo that cannot be seen to his same age and shocked to the fluent speech of the toddler in front to him.

Eliza looked proud and took it as a compliment.

“I didn’t do it by own, it was thanks to the people taking care of him alongside with me but my child also had a credit for being mature early and was very intelligent child. I was also surprised when our child is maturing fast than we expected” Eliza looked proud when she said it and smiling happily.

Ulrich keep nodding while smiling and looking to this small toddler.

Theo was so embarrassed when he heard the compliment of his grandfather and his mother while they keep talking in front of him.

Ulrich smiled when he saw the reaction of Theo.

“Anyway, where is Heiner I didn’t see him here?” Ulrich changed the topic.

“His father-in-law is here to visit and it’s been a long time since I saw him but he didn’t come to see me or felt his presence to visit his father-in-law” Ulrich acted displeased when he didn’t saw Heiner.

Eliza laughed and giggled when he saw Ulrich childish act.

“Father, he said his regard that he expressed regretful for not welcoming father personally, but he will come later evening. as you know he was always busy to do his duty as a lord so he didn’t have time even though he wanted to come and welcome you personally.” Eliza said.

“I’m just joking, I didn’t take it personally. I know he was very busy and his schedule is tight as a lord. And his role is heavy responsibility so I didn’t blame him for not coming. I’m only little displeased for not giving enough time to his wife and his son” Ulrich feel sympathy and looked worried to mother and son for the absence of the father.

“it’s okay for me father, I didn’t blame him for not giving us enough attention and time but he always taking opportunity if he had a space to the tight schedule of his and I know this will happen and I already prepared myself when I become wife of my husband” Eliza smiled bitterly.

“let’s go inside father, we prepared a banquet for your arrival” Eliza changed the serious topic and awkward atmosphere.

They go inside and come to a long table with many dishes of food.

Ulrich was surprised and shocked by the grand of banquet.

“You should not bother to organize an expensive banquet to this old man. A simple meal its already okay for me. But thank you, for your thoughtful welcome banquet Eliza” Ulrich smile pleased when he saw the banquet.

“Why would I not bother to give my father a banquet when I didn’t saw him for a long time?” Eliza sarcastic jokingly to Ulrich.

Ulrich was felt embarrassed when he heard Eliza said. He left her that day without hesitation to travel every corner of Bared Island.

“Let’s sit father and start the banquet” Eliza smiled while her hand gesture pointing to the table.

The three sat down to the chair and they’re eating the food happily in the table while they talking to each other about how they been.
