On the other side, the leader of this beastman group was running and going back to the place where they separated.

“Tch, what a shit luck that I didn’t encounter that human” he mumbled. he felt annoyed that the human prey is not in this direction and he only wasted his time searching to nothing.

“I need to make it fast or else that dogs will take my prey!” he said. he felt agitated that he had many competitors to this hunt.

The leader of this beastman group run until he almost arrives to the place where they separated.

He saw from afar a two person that was standing to the place where they separated but it was vague and also, he smelled a stench of blood that so unpleasant to his nose.

‘Why I smell the stench of blood?!’ he thought. He was very alerted and stopped his track as he looking deeply who the persons standing from afar.

‘I cannot see very well who is the two standing’ he thought. Even though they have night vision, it was only short-sightedness. The vision of them looking from afar was not very good because it was very vague and blurry.

He cautiously and silently goes, while being alert. He thought that this might be a trap.

When he arrived, he saw the two beastman who still alive that was standing there dazed and looking to their front.

The leader beastman saw the two standing was alive and felt relieve that he just thinking too much and being paranoid but the stench blood is still lingering to his nose.

“What happened?! I just smell the stench blood from af-“ The leader asked but he stopped to his saying when he saw the two beastman was looking somewhere dazedly and he looked also to the place they looking at.

He saw in his own eyes a two beastman that laying dead to a big boulder and in the position of cross. Their hands and legs were sliced to half but still near to their dead bodies to portrait a cross and their belly was impaled by woods, also their heads was put on tip of wood that looking at them and their eyes was opened wide. it looked like that it was only recently done

“What?! What happened!? Who did this!!” the leader said. he was shocked and terrified when he saw the two died bodies of his kin and the way their body played that out of respect to dead but he was also very angry because it was his duty as a leader of this group that to make sure they will not die and coming back alive to their tribe.

“We also don’t know. We only saw this when we arrive” one of the two beastman said. he looked terrified when he looked to the two beastman that died and he was trembling

“I think the one who did this is the human we hunting” the one beastman said, he was the weakest beastman to the five of beastman of this group. He was also very terrified and his whole body was trembling uncontrollably. This the first time they encountered a situation that very gruesome and frightful that they saw their own kin being killed.

“No way, are you saying that human is the one hunting us and not us? Are joking to this situation right now!” one of the beastman said when he heard this weakest beastman to all of them. to him the opinion was based on the strength.

“No, I think he said was valid and make sense because only that human went in to this cave along with us” the leader said.

“But we cannot hurriedly conclude that the human who killed our kin because our tribe elder said that there is many dangerous species or creatures that living here so it doesn’t make sense that a skinny human can kill our two kin that easily!” that one beastman said. he was unconvince that the human who did this.

“Then we will know if we caught that human, did you see that human where did it go?” the leader said. he was very angry and annoyed to this situation he was in.

“We are not sure if he was there but we smell him to that left direction where our died kin went before” the weaker beastman said. he pointed where they smelled the human scent.

“Also, we saw these clothe and pant on the entrance of that left direction that smell human” one of the beastman said. he was drooling uncontrollably when he smells the human scent to this clothe but he still forced himself to gives it to their leader for him to look.

The leader beastman saw it and he smelled the strong smell of human. He began drooling but he stopped himself and he realize something like a flick of finger that give him the idea to the whole story as to why these two kin of their tribe died easily.

“I now knew why they died. These human clothes and pant are the reason why they died” the beastman said angrily.

“What do you mean? I don’t understand” one of the beastman said. he is the one who still doesn’t believe that the huma who killed his two kin and he didn’t think that this clothe and pant was the reason they killed.

“Are you idiot or brain-dead?! Do you see this clothe and pant! This can be use against us. We have a superior good sense of smell than human but it can also be use against because we are really blinded by our own smell that we are only moving by the smell and not our own head” the leader said.

The one beastman realize what their leader was implying and he felt shiver on his spine that he thought that he might be killed by only clothe and pant.

“By using these clothe and pant as a distraction of smell, the two began letting their guard down because of strong smell of human that hard to resist and used as a way to make their mind distracted for them not to think right or their mind was only focused to the smell and not to their surrounding” the leader said. he appeared unsightly when he said it.

“It might be simple but it was lethal and dangerous to us that can go against to our whole tribe!!” the leader of this beastman said.

“We need to kill that human!!” the leader said.

The two nodded at the same time, they understood that human was very dangerous existence to their tribe and understood very well their weakness.

“We will kill that human in the most gruesome way!” the leader said. they go to the left direction where the Cien went.

The three of them run as fast as they can and go to the direction where the human went.

“Still be alert and be careful on our way, maybe that human was waiting to trap us” the leader said. he didn’t underestimate that human capability when he saw the two kin of him died to that human.

After almost one hours of running, they expected that they might encounter any trap that might harm them but they didn’t encounter any trap which make them very cautious because it was pretty weird and baffle what is that human planning.

“This is pretty weird. We didn’t encounter anything” the one weaker beastman said.

“Maybe that human was waiting in the end of this cave to be killed by our own hand and didn’t think to retaliate. I cannot wait to kill that human!” the one beastman said. his mind was still clouded by hunting and eating that human.

The two beastman looked to this beastman when they heard what he said that he still not wakes up to reality. They looked to this beastman like he was very idiot that cannot understand the situation very well.

“As your leader, don’t underestimate that human just by look!” the leader said. he needed to lecture this idiot to understand how dangerous underestimating that human and he not become like the two beastman that died.

“Remember our elder teaching that we should not underestimate our prey by the look or appearance but the action and strength it can do. When we understand our prey very well, that’s when we will attack as quickly as we can. Be patience and don’t underestimate that human” the leader said. he let this idiot recall the teaching what their elder taught them.

But the beastman didn’t listen but only let his words fly off, it hurts his pride when he was disciplining by the same age as him and he felt more annoyed when he heard his leader recalling him what they taught them and to him it sounds mocking him that felt humiliating.

“Okay” he said. he still answered out of respect as their leader but he spoke casually.

The leader of this beastman appeared annoyed that this idiot is not learning a lesson and only controlled by his pride.

‘I should not waste my time to this idiot, who is not willing to learn. Well, I understood him because I was also a pride person’ the leader thought. He still tried to understand this idiot kin of his.

“Let’s go” the leader said. the two follow behind as they run.

After 10 minutes of running, they arrive to a complicated way of direction that they need to think about what they needed to do.

They saw two tunnels to their front and weirdly enough they smelled human scent to these two tunnels which make them baffle to what they should to do.

“Should we separate?” the idiot beastman said. he was also very baffle to what choice they need to choose between the two.

The leader of this beastman appeared having deep thought to what they needed to do.

“This might be the trap of that human to separate us” the weaker beastman said.

“Even if it was the trap of that human, we have no choice but to bite. The only things we should do is to make a plan what our next move” the leader said.

“Separating each other is a good idea to corner that human but it was very risky when we don’t know what waiting for us to that tunnel” the leader said.

“Also, we are only three right now. Separating means that one of us will be walking alone to this tunnel and being alone was riskier and I think that’s what the human wanted us to do” the leader said. he analyzing their situation very well as he was thinking the right choice they need to choose.

“Then what we should do?” weaker beastman said.

“We are going together hunting that human and choose between to these two tunnels” leader beastman said.

“Wait I oppose to your idea! This is idea was ridiculous, are you scared or something?! what if that human leave because we choose the wrong tunnel and he was on other side. This is not plausible idea. I think we should separate to make it efficient and caught that human in the fastest way!” the idiot beastman said.

The leader beastman looked to this idiot that cannot understand the whole situation. He felt sorry that this beastman is lacking of intelligence.

“Think about it, why that human didn’t leave in the very beginning when he had a chance?! Its mean, he not gonna leave until he killed us and if we separate each other its like we giving up our advantage of number to fight that human and giving that human a chance to attack us one by one” the leader said.

“And that human cannot rescue his two kin when our two beastman kin is guarding them” the leader said.

“So, are you saying that we need to work together catching that human? Then how about our bet before?!” the idiot said.

“Forget that bet!! The two of our kin died by the hand of that human! Do you think we have time to play hunt in our situation?! I cannot wait to shrewd that human body every piece!” the leader vented angrily. He cannot endure his emotion how angry and frustrated he was as a leader and his pride as a leader of this group was only spitted on by that human. He felt humiliated as a part of beastman but he forcefully endured it as he can.

The two beastman was shocked and surprised when their leader showed the emotion side of him because they knew that their leader can control his emotion very well than them.

“Are you now on same agreement that we are going together and not separating?!” the leader said angrily. He was already very pissed off to this idiot that didn’t use it brain.

The idiot quieted and didn’t say anything. he only nodded to the question of his leader.

“Then, I will take that silence and nodding of yours as a yes!” the leader said.

“Let’s go!” the leader said. they went to the right side of tunnel together.

After many minutes of walking, they heard a loud noise behind them like a sound of explosion.

“WHAT IS THAT?!” the weakest beastman said. he was startled by the loud noise of explosion behind them.

The two was also startled to the loud noise as they looked to their behind. They saw from afar that the rock has fallen because of the explosion that made the entrance blocked to go through.

“WHAT!!” the leader said. he was shocked and felt shiver on his spine when he saw the entrance was blocked by many rocks. He realized that they will be stuck here if the entrance was blocked.

The leader run hurriedly to the entrance and the two also followed him behind, they felt terrified when they thought that they cannot leave to this cave because the entrance was blocked.
