CHAPTER 2455 GRAVE RECKONING
RUMBLE
As Emperor Rael tried and failed to convince the mad prime minister of the folly of his grave choices, the forty-two Sages of the East Panamic Treaty Alliance sped towards the Kandrian Empire.
None of them so much as uttered a word to break the suffocating tension that boiled in the air.
None of them needed to be told about the sheer significance of what was to unfold.
The single greatest battle to have ever been waged in the history of the Age of Martial Art. Never before in history had humanity ever witnessed a battle of this scale and power, shattering the previous record from just two weeks ago and then shattering the record of the first battle to commence the war.
It was unprecedented.
RUMBLE!!!
With each passing moment, they drew closer and closer to the enemy force while the world watched with bated breaths. Every single force and power across all of human civilization watched the incoming battle with a severe outlook. Many of them had no direct stake in the battle, but there was no doubt that all of human civilization would be affected by the battle and its outcome, one way or another. Thus, each and every power across human civilization watched the battle carefully. The Martial Sages of the Kandrian Empire alliance were even more grave and severe.
Each of them knew what was in store from them. There was no way that they could hold off a force that was nine Sages stronger than them. The enemies had more peak Sages and more Sages at all levels, too. The only advantages that the Kandrian Empire had were that it had the strongest Martial Bodies thanks to the Divine Doctor, the resources from the Beast Domain, as well as the most refined Martial Art with all the years they had spent training inside the manifold.
However, they each knew that there was a dim hope that they would be able to hold the enemies off for long, even with that. Their eyes and expressions were of reckoning. Each of them knew that even if all of them made it out alive, it would be at the cost of the Kandrian Empire.
They could only hold off the enemy Martial Sages and hope that a miracle would happen in their favor.
RUMBLE!
Their expressions grew ashen as their powerful senses detected the first hint of their enemies.
RUMBLE!!!
And yet, while their expressions darkened, the Devil was the only one who sported a glowing grin on his face. "There they are."
In the distance, the single largest Sage-level force that they had ever seen in their entire lives rampaged forth without any hesitation. They knew that their only destiny was victory. There was absolutely no chance of defeat in any fashion whatsoever.
RUMBLE!!!!!
"ATTACK!!!" Sage Damian roared with a menacing grin as his eyes fell upon his own opponents. Sage Shinken and Sage Vermillion were the only ones who wore grave and severe expressions amongst the enemy forces. They were the ones tasked with dealing with the monster that was known as the Devil while their allies could merrily storm the rest of the Sages with relative ease.
And thus, the battle to determine the future began.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!!!!!
A devastatingly horrifying wave of seismic radiation emerged from the convergence of seventy-five Sages. Martial Artists on both sides fought with a vengeance, exerting the sum totality of their power to vanquish their enemies. Perhaps the one and only avenue of implicit cooperation that the two sides engaged in was ensuring that they did not birth a second singularity.
Aside from that sparse bit of mutual cooperation, they spent every ounce of their power on destroying their enemies.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!
RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
With each passing moment, the seismic radiation emerging from their battlefield grew greater and greater.
It far surpassed that of the previous battle.
RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sheer amount of seismic radiation the battle released was the equivalent of a land tsunami. The devastating waves spread through the bedrock of the very land beneath their feet, traveling across the entire world.
It spread earthquakes everywhere.
The world itself shook.
It trembled as an endless number of earthquakes shook everything everywhere.
All of human civilization ground to a halt as it took shelter.
All of human civilization ground to a halt as seventy five natural calamities in human form ravaged the world with their onslaught. The horrifying output of the Martial Sages was so cataclysmic that every single Master and Sage elsewhere needed to exert themselves to ensure that human civilization didn't succumb to the onslaught of the battle. The Sage-level powerhouses of the world realized, in that moment, that future battles between Sages could not be allowed to proceed unfettered. This was the very first time that a battle of this scale had ever occurred, thus nobody could have predicted exactly what would happen if such a battle were to unfold. Now, however, they knew exactly what they needed to do. They could not allow a large number of Sages to gather in a single location.
That would only result in an apocalypse that would destroy everybody and everything everywhere!
This battle had already impacted all future military and Martial strategy. If humanity could survive this battle, that was.
RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With each passing moment, the horrifyingly destructive battle produced even greater seismic radiation.
It escalated and escalated.
It shook heaven and earth unlike anything ever before. Its tremors spread far beyond East Panama. It spread to North and South Panama, as well as to West Panama on the other side of the planet. It spread through the depths of the Great Nam Ocean, terrifying the biosphere in the unfathomable depths of the ocean while drawing the attention of the terrifying monsters that lurked in its depths.
The horrifying seismic radiation spread everywhere. This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
Including the Beast Domain.
It spread through the outer layers, including the Valley of Prisms, startling the peaceful catoblepas while simultaneously spreading into deeper regions such as the Forest of Fear, the Mellow, and eventually…
Eventually, it reached the core of the Beast Domain.
