Worshipper Arc: Chapter 30. Justice & Preparations.
Valoran let go of the arm from the student who has been harassing Reelia and Iris.
He moves his slightly to look behind him where Iris and Reelia are.
“Are you both okay?” He asks with concern.
Shocked to see that Valoran, someone from the same academy as the other magic students, who have been looking down and straight up bullied the non-magical students at their academy is defending standing against them.
“We are.”
“U-Uhm thank you.” Iris and Reelia respond still in shock.
The other students from the magic academy are frustrated to see that Valoran is standing against them.
Valoran faces the student who has been harassing Iris and Reelia who is still holding his wrist due to Valoran’s strength when he firmly grabbed it which led him to release Reelia from his own grip.
“What’s your name?” Valoran questions.
“My name is Lars Cian.” He responds in anger.
“Lars Cian, this is my only warning to you and everyone else who tournaments the non magical academy students, leave them be. If not, you will face me.” Valoran warns the other magic students.
“Tch…Do you think you can command us?” Lars says in spite.
“I can and I will. You will leave them alone. Period.” Valoran states.
Lars is angered and embarrassed that he is being talked down to like this in front of magic and non-magical students.
Lars creates a magic circle.
“I will teach you respect.” Lars expresses with hatred.
Lars' magic circle begins to shrink and eventually disappears.
“My magic? What have you done?” Lars asked, confused.
“Nothing special, I merely enhanced your magic beyond your limit and as a safety mechanism your fragment has stopped casting your magic.” Valoran explains.
“You…!” Lars says in anger.
Reelia and Iris are amazed to see how calm Valoran is when facing off someone.
“Lars, it's enough. I have temporarily destroyed your ability to cast magic. Leave now and to all of you magic students. Leave the non-magical students be. They have done nothing to you, show them the respect they deserve.” Valoran instructs.
Valoran addresses the other magic students who have been bullying the non magic students.
“Are you proud of yourselves? Are you proud of the fact that you need to look down upon the non magical gifted to feel superior?” He questions the magic students.
“How would you feel if you were being treated like this?” Valoran further questions.
“Just look at the faces of the ones you mock and bully.” Valoran instructs.
The magic students look at the non magical students and see how upset and afraid they look.
“I’m sorry.”
“Me too.”
“Please forgive us.”
“I am a monster.”
“I am disgusted at myself.” Some of the magic students realise.
Lars and the other magic students who are arrogant and do not apologise and realise their mistakes leave in frustration but know that facing off Valoran is not an option.
Valoran then turns around to face Reelia and Iris.
“Don’t worry, they won’t bother you and your academy again.” Valoran reassures.
“Th-Thankyou.” Iris says still in slight confusion.
“Yeah…Th…Thankyou “ Reelia says in even more confusion.
“No need to thank me, I just did what was right.” Valoran explains.
“Be safe when walking home.” Valoran instructs the both.
Valoran makes his way home when from the corner of his eye he notices a black serpent staring at him.
“Hmm let’s see what she has to say.” Valoran mumbles to himself.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Valoran makes his way over to the serpent who is leading him into an empty alleyway.
“Enough with the serpent form…Aldia.” Valoran tells her.
The serpent immediately becomes a beautiful woman in a black dress and black long hair. It was Aldia, High Goddess of Annihilation.
“Do you prefer me in this form?” She asks with charm.
“It’s certainly more appealing than your serpent form.” Valoran counters with charm.
“My my my…Valoran you sure know how to talk to women.” She chuckles.
“Well I do have my charm.” Valoran responds.
“Now then what do you have for me?” Valoran becomes serious.
“Straight to the point. Well then…first things first the Gods are aware of you. Daimos told everyone who you are and to stay away from you. “ Aldia explains.
“Hmm it seems he really wants to finish me off personally.” Valoran realises.
“Precisely.” Aldia confirms.
“Daimos will make you become the Magic King very very soon. Be prepared for it.” Aldia warns.
“He will fight you. He will attempt to end you. He will attempt to destroy all hope in this world.” Aldia further warns.
“I will be prepared. I will defeat him…whatever it may take.” Valoran states.
“Anything else?” Valoran questions Aldia for further intel.
“I have nothing further useful to share.” Aldia explains.
A portal is created by Aldia.
“I wish you good luck.” Aldia says and enters the portal.
Valoran arrives home.
“Welcome home.” Aelina greets him.
“Hello Mother.” Valoran responds and heads to his room to think about the recent events.
“Soon it will all end. The Worshippers, the Gods and the cruelty they spread will end. Whatever it takes I will make sure of it.” Valoran thinks to himself.
“I need to make sure that my friends are ready for it. I am sure they would not stay out of the fight if I told them to, especially Demonlise.” Valoran further thinks for himself.
“Defeating the King of Gods will be the hardest battle I have ever fought. But I must destroy him once and for all.” Valoran states to himself.
Valoran has gotten ready for bed and calls it a night.
The next morning at the academy during a practical training session, Valoran trains his friends harder than ever before.
Valoran attacks with izari (advanced fire elemental magic) at Selina, Biatrix and Atticus.
All three managed to evade the first blast however Valoran immediately fires beams of red energy knocking them all hard on the ground.
“Are you trying to kill us?” Biatrix asks, exhausted.
“That was far more intense than previous training sessions.” Merial says exhausted.
“It’s necessary for what's about to come.” Valoran clarifies.
“What's about to come?” Atticus questions.
“What will happen to Valoran?” Selina also questions curiously.
Valoran gathers everyone around him and begins to explain everything.
“I have been informed by a High Goddess that Daimos will very soon begin his attack, that’s because he will use his Worshippers who have high influence in every infrastructure to ensure that I will be seated on the Magic King’s throne.” Valoran explains.
“I need to ensure that all of you are as best prepared for the upcoming battle…I am sure you won’t back away even if I asked you to.” Valoran says.
“There is no chance that we will.” Demonlise responds.
“Demonlise is correct. We will stand with you.” Selina adds on.
“I guess you need to train us harder then.” Biatrix says.
“You saved me from a dark path…now I will repay it.” Merial explains.
“You helped us countless times, now it’s our turn to help you.” Atticus explains.
“I want to see the Gods do good again. For that to happen Daimos must fall.” Artemsia explains.
Valoran is grateful that he has friends that will stand with him no matter what.
“My friends. I am truly grateful to you all.” Valoran expresses with sincerity.
Demonlise,Atticus, Merial, Selina, Biatrix and Artemsia are smiling to see Valoran this sincere.
They further continued training as today was only a practical decision day at the academy.
During the training Valoran does notice that there is something wrong with Demonlise.
After a couple of hours of hard and intensive training Valoran calls it a day.
He gathers everyone around him.
“Well done to you all. It’s getting late, go home and rest, you all deserve it.” Valoran says.
“I’m exhausted.” Merial says out of breath.
“Me too. Valoran was not messing around.” Atticus states out of breath.
“Well…he did say we need to be prepared.” Selina justifies being out of breath.
“I am prepared for anything.” Biatrix says confident but also being out of breath.
“That’s good Biatrix, you all have grown so much.” Artemsia compliments.
“Indeed. All of you have become so much stronger than I first met you all. You should be proud.” Valoran states.
Valoran looks at Demonlise.
“Demonlise.” He calls out.
Demonlise looks at Valoran. “Yes Valoran?”
“I wish to speak to you.” Valoran says.
“Of course.” Demonlise replies.
“Great.” Valoran responds.
Everyone leaves the training ground aside from Valoran and Demonlise.
“What is it you wish to speak with me about?” Demonlise questions.
Valoran casts irum (teleportation magic) and at an instant both are teleported in the middle of nowhere.
“Why did you bring us here?” Demonlise questions in confusement.
“Demonlise…here I can attack you without worrying to much about collateral damage.” Valoran answers.
Valoran raises his arm at Demonlise creating a crimson magic circle at the palm of his hand, Demonlise is backing away from him.
Valoran shoots a crimson beam only slightly missing Demonlise by a hair's width.
Off in the distance the beam hits the ground creating a huge explosion the equivalent of a nuclear explosion.
Demonlise turns around to see the enormous flaming fireball that is still growing larger and larger.
“Valoran? What are you doing?” Demonlise questions with worry.
“Next time I won’t miss.” Valoran responds and prepares for another blast.
