I was wearing the full armor that I transmogrified, with my shield on my back and flail on my hip, [The Furnace] was hard to carry around, but it was still my main weapon. After a few minutes it was finally my turn. The receptionist was a middle aged lady with glasses and long brown hair.
"Hello there, how may I help you today?" She asked with a smile.
"Hi, I was wondering if there are any requests for herbs that are native between Rivett and Stonehold. I traveled from there and picked some on my way. I didn't take any request in Rivett." I said. She told me to wait a minute and looked through a stack of paper she had on her desk.
"We are currently in need of [Athelas], a medical plant with long leaves. It's native to that area." She said and kept looking through her papers.
I took off my backpack and looked through it and took out all the [Athelas] I had in it. There were 14 plants, I had more in my inventory but I'll keep those.
"I found a few of them." I said and placed them on the table. She looked up and inspected the plants.
"Good quality, these will help a lot. They are used to make health potions." She said as she noted down something on a note and placed them all in a bag.
I asked if there were any more plants there were requests for at the moment. and there were a couple more which I had found some of. I gave her my ID and enjoyed the look when she saw the rank and QP. But she was very professional and didn't keep the expression for long as she continued her job.

QP: 150

Looks like they had quite the need for those herbs. I ranked up in one go. Still, I need 850 QP for the next rank though. I walked towards the request wall to see if anything caught my eye. While looking through I listened to what everyone was talking about.
I found a few requests that match my rank and could be done until the next town. All of them were gathering quests though, but I have no issue with them. I made it my goal in this world to enjoy it and travel around, so gathering quests are perfect to slowly increase my rank and at the same time travel. I took the requests that interested me and started heading towards the exit, but of course, the cliché had to happen!
"Hey, sexy!" A big muscular, hairy, ugly, man approached me with a smile showing all his 3 teeth.
"Can I help you?" I answered and looked at him.
"You could join me for a round in my room, haha!" He said as he looked back at his companions, who just laughed.
"Sorry, I'm into humanoids, not beasts." I said and turned around to leave. I don't know why I said that now he is gonna be offended and the cliché is gonna happen. It's so easy to predict!

"Wha- you whore! When I say join my bed, you join my bed, you whore!" He keeps calling me that, I don't think he knows what it means. He went to grab my shoulder but I simply turned around and grabbed his hand and put some strength in it, breaking it.
"Ahhh! YOU BITCH!" He screamed as he got on his knees holding his broken hand to his chest.
I was gonna leave when his 4 companions stood up and grabbed their weapons and looked at me angrily and with lust. I don't understand why these kinds of people can become adventurers, they should be in jail! I looked around and no one tried to stop them, they looked away even. What the...?
“And here I thought adventurers were respectable people.” I sighed. Before looking back at the party of scum.
"If you attack me, be prepared to die, here and now." I said as I equipped my shield and flail.
They stopped for a second looking around, and no one seemed to care. The receptionist looked scared and looked at me as she wanted me to run or something. Are these nobles? No way nobles are this ugly and cheap looking.
"Haha! We are gonna have fun breaking you, girl!" One of the men said as they all advanced.
"If they attack me, I will defend myself. Is there anyone here who can verify that they attacked me first?" I said and looked around.
...
...
Silence.
"Very well, I won't kill you then." I said and walked towards them. They all just laughed. Crippling time.
I was around 3 meters away from them when they all charged me. They swung their weapons. 2 swords, 1 big hammer and one with dual daggers. I cast [Judgment, Deliberation] on them, I limited the area to only them and that way I could hold them like that for over an hour.
They froze, stunned, they couldn't even speak as they stood there like fools. I walked towards the first man, which was the one with the big hammer and kicked his knees in, breaking them. He had tears in his eyes and could not even scream. Must have hurt like hell.
I then took one of the daggers from the assassin guy and cut all their arms off and healed them right away to not kill them from the blood loss. I made sure all their arms were incinerated in front of them and then broke the other's legs.
The entire guild was in shock, some smiled at the karma they got, some looked horrified, but mostly all had thankful looks in their eyes. These must have been scum. I canceled Judgment and they all fell to the floor screaming in pain and even defecated themselves before fainting.
"And that's my queue to leave. Bye." I said and simply walked out. I don't think they will live for long after this, but looking at everyone in the guild, I think they deserved this. No arms, broken legs, if the nobles I assume they work for don't kill them, then the adventurers in there will. The hate they had for them was intense.
I made plans to leave now that I most likely had some Noble kids looking for me but first I need a carriage. I asked for directions to anywhere I could buy a carriage and horses for them. I only have the one horse I bought from Rivett in the stables at the moment.
I made my way to buy the carriage and arrived shortly after, it wasn't far at all. I asked the merchant for a two-horse carriage as well as one horse to buy and he showed me some carriages to choose from. I found a good one quickly.
It was sizable for a carriage with only two horses. I could fit a few boxes in the back as well as 3-4 people if the horses were strong enough that is. I bought it and then looked at horses and since I'm nowhere near poor I bought the strongest he had.
I just now figured out that I have no idea how to ride a carriage. So I asked him if there was anyone I could hire that was going to the next town, so I could act as protection as he/she teaches me on the way. He said that it was possible, but if I had the funds a slave would be better.
A slave huh? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at slavery.
I’d rather hire someone or try it myself. What's the worst that can happen if I try it myself? So, that’s exactly what I did. I didn’t want to stay in the town any longer due to the trouble at the guild, so I left.
Riding a carriage was tricky at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. Mostly due to my experience in riding. I managed to get a book from Amy, the mage in the party I met on my way here, with information on plants and herbs. I planned to study it and try my hand in alchemy, it sounds interesting and who wouldn’t want to make their own potions?
