The Adventuring Guild was a kind of mercenary-like organization that was used to control the monster population in the area as well as a general help organization. Any citizen could post a quest to guild, be it for personal or business reasons.
When I walked into the guild I could hear whispering about me, most were curious about me, they already knew what I looked like. Milly told me there were already posters of me all around the town, praising my heroism or whatever.
I arrived at a counter where a young man, maybe 18-20 years old was standing there, he had black hair with brown eyes and no facial hair.
"Hello, I'd like to register," I said, looking at the man who still had his eyes on me since I entered the building
"....." Complete silence. Why is he even speechless? Sure, I saved the town, but isn't most high ranking adventures hailed as “heroes”, why am I any different from them?
"Well?" I said, starting to get annoyed at this attention. Maybe I shouldn’t have made such a grand entrance during the fight.
"Ahh!" He finally realized I stood there. It's a miracle!
"I-I-I....." He tried to speak but stuttered a lot before a young woman came and took over from him.
"I'm sorry for my colleague's behavior! How can we help you today, miss?" She asked as she bowed slightly in respect. She was quite tall and had short brown hair and green eyes. Overall, a pretty young lady.
"I'd like to register," I said hoping that I could be done with this and get on with my adventure. I figured being an adventurer could help in certain areas when I’m higher rank, so figured I’d register right away to rank up quickly.
"No problem, fill out this form and you'll get your adventurer card shortly after, it also costs 1 silver." She said and handed me a paper. I could read the text, it looked like English from my other world.

I just put it all there, I assumed Role meant the fighting style of sorts. Like Warrior, Wizard or similar and looking at the reaction from the receptionist, I assumed it was correct. I also handed her a silver coin. She took the piece of paper and put it into what looked like a printer from my old world, it shined for a few seconds before she opened it and a small card was there. She took the card and looked through it and gave it back to me.
"One drop of blood to seal it, so no one else can use it." She said. I was confused, so I asked her about it.
“When it’s sealed, only you and adventurer guild staff can see the information on the card.” She answered, and it sounds pretty convenient. She had a needle like knife that could be used to draw some blood, but I figured it might not be cleaned every time, so I took out one of my own daggers from my inventory, using the magic bag as a cover for taking it out.
My skin was pretty tough, so I had to use some force to get through the skin. A drop of blood landed on the card and shined slightly before it went back to normal, the girl then looked it over before handing it back to me.

Rank: F
QP: 0

Rank F and QP? I remember from anime and manga that there is usually ranks F to A and then S as the highest, but what is QP? I should ask to make sure I got the right information.
The rank was like I thought, everyone starts at rank F, going up to A before reaching the final rank of S. There were also party ranks, a 5 person party of top tier A-ranks could get their party to S-rank, without either of them getting S-rank personally. But that also meant that one S-rank usually had the minimum power to fight a party of top tier A-ranks.
QP stood for Quest Points, depending on the rank of the quest and the content of the quest, a certain amount of QP was given. There were minimum amounts of QP one would need before ranking up. The average A-rank had around 20 000 QP, but there could also be C-ranks with that much QP, but just didn’t have the power to officially rank up from C.

QP was used to see the resume of adventurers. It had a history function, where the guild entered the amount of QP after completing a quest and also adding a note on how efficiently the quest was complete, which also could give a little more QP, but also if you did the quest badly, you could get less QP. This usually meant that many of the high ranking adventurers were good and respectable people.
The first promotion was only at 100QP, but most F-rank quests consisted of small things such as finding a runaway pet for 1-5QP, depending on the speed the quest was complete. But the guild could also make exceptions and let some take on quests higher than your rank if they thought you could handle it. That made it easier for me to get some quick QP if I wanted to rank up quickly.
Once I finished up at the adventurer's guild I quickly left. I didn't want that cliche dude that always goes up to the MC in anime and manga, to bully the MC and then get his ass kicked. That would just be troublesome. And of course, as soon as I left, the place was filled with chatter once again.
I went straight back to the Inn to get something to eat before I look for a horse or something so I can travel faster. I could just run, but I would not see the world that way. I do have the skill Steed Charge from the game, which summons a horse for a short time. I didn't get to test that before, I'll try it out when I'm alone.
When I entered the Inn, I got the same treatment as the Adventuring Guild, total silence as they looked at me. I asked Milly if they could send some food to my room. I didn’t want to sit with the others in awkward silence.
I went up to my room and locked the door behind me. I sat down on the bed, looking through my inventory and planning a bit about what to do next. Although I loved the look my armor had, it was way too conspicuous, I transmogrified it to look simpler. I heard some steps before knocking on the door, food is here.
I spent the rest of the day holed up in the room, going through my inventory, planning on when I could use what and so on. I slept early, so I could leave early tomorrow morning.
I woke up and equipped my new simple armor before leaving, I didn’t have anything to pack so it was quick. I got some quick breakfast from Helena, who was already up before I said my goodbyes. She seemed sad to see me leave, but I assume it was because I brought business, just being there.
The stables were near the city gates, so I walked straight there to purchase a horse. They had plenty of horses and so I bought one immediately and left the town. While looking around yesterday I bought a map and used that to navigate to the next town. It was around 1 month of travel from Rivett, the town I just left.
After a few hours, the horse needed some rest, so I set up a camp and went out to hunt. I'm happy that there are not only monsters in the woods, but I also found a deer which I caught and prepared. It was a lot of meat, but I could store most of it in my Inventory. While I was waiting for the meat to cook over the fire I explored my Inventory.
I transmogrified the helm with Invisible Dye, so I would still get the bonus stats and defensive stats from it, but it was invisible. I tried to feel it with my hands and could not even feel it. Weird to think about how it will protect me like this, but I'll trust it.
My shoulder Pads were smaller, they had 3 spikes on each shoulder. My chest piece was a chain mail with a white piece of clothing going down to my knees. The greaves were also chain mail and were connected to pants, to not show skin. The boots were dark and metal with spikes on them.
My gauntlets were metal with what looked like claws at the end of the fingers. My shield was a big metal and wooden shield. The outside parts of it were metal of course and the inner layer was wooden. I didn't transmogrify [The Furnace] though, I liked it as it is.
I continued on the road for about 3 days before I got to a crossroad. I checked the map to make sure I didn't get lost before I continued the way the map showed me. About 2 days I felt eyes on me, so I decided to flush them out.
I set up a camp and during the night I sensed at least 18 people coming closer. 18 People, huh? So they're either not underestimating me or they are all scum who want a 'piece' of me.
I noticed they were all close by and decided to stand up with my shield and weapon in hand, looking towards them to make them show themselves. One of the men came closer and had a villainous grin on his face as he basically licked me all over my body with his eyes. Damn creep.
"Hello there lady, what might you be doing out here all alone at this time?" he said and laughed a bit, I could hear the others also laughing and coming closer. I just stood there and let them all get close so I could finish them all quickly without having to run after stragglers.
I don't like killing humans, but they all made the choice to come here and I bet they all want to play with me. If I didn't have the means to defend myself they would without a doubt play with me till I died. At least that's the impression I get from them.
Once they were all in sight, within 10 meters of me. The leader of the group was closer, almost 4 meters from me.
"How about you drop your weapon there, honey. Don't want you to hurt yourself, hehe!" He said and laughed again and had greed and lust in his eyes as he didn't even have eye contact with me, only looking at my body, licking himself around his lips. Ugh...
The others had all kinds of weapons, Most of them had a sword, a few had axes and more than half had crossbows aimed at me. Time to get them to drop their guard before I assault.
"Hello there boys. I will count to 5 and when the time is up I will kill anyone who is still here." I said and smiled as I looked around all of them. They were all surprised, but shortly after burst into laughter. This was the moment.
I launched myself towards the closest, the leader and smashed my hammer to his head. He wasn't even prepared for it, the head exploded and his body flew several meters. All the men stopped laughing and began to move.
The crossbowmen took aim, but before they even could I was already at my next target, a big man with a 2-handed ax. He was also just waking up from the shock and did not have time to react. I made a wide swing towards his torso and hit his right side. I could feel all his bones there breaking, the bones probably pierced his heart, because he died instantly.
By now, it had been around 2 seconds since they started laughing. The crossbowmen began to fire, but it was too slow, I managed to dodge and block the arrows with the shield before I tried out my Condemn.
It began to charge up, it has a radius of 18 meters with the Shattering Explosion rune, which increases the range of it. It takes around 3 seconds before it explodes, during that time I blocked a few attacks and killed 2 more of the bandits, some jumped away from me. Then it exploded, and let me tell you, it was not a pretty sight.
Everyone within that radius got blasted and there were limbs and blood everywhere. There were 2 people left who freaked out. One of them fell on his butt while the other tried to run away. The runner was closest to me, so I quickly used Blessed Shield, to throw my shield and make it return. I walked up towards the last one who was on the ground. By this time, it has only been 15 seconds since I started the assault.
"Monster!!" He screamed as tears streamed down his face, his face completely white from fear. I lifted my hammer and finished him off by smashing his head.
Calling me a monster? What about all the people you've killed, huh? Probably no less than the ones I killed now, and I'm the monster? I was merely defending myself, scum!
I quickly went to clean myself but noticed that once again, there was no blood or anything on any of my clothes. Not even [The Furnace] was bloody even though it had smashed several people. I need to research that at some point. For now, let's continue to move throughout the night.
7 days later I had just passed one of the villages. I took some rest while I was there, but wanted to move quickly as I wanted to reach the next town. I managed to catch up to a caravan. It was a medium sized caravan, it looked a bit luxurious, it looked like an adventuring party was guarding it, and it only had one person in it.
4 horses were dragging it, two of the adventurers were on horses running side by side of the caravan and 2 adventurers inside the caravan. 3 males and 2 females, one of the females looked like a noble. I decided to greet them and perhaps I'd get some company and someone to speak to and by the looks of it, we were heading the same way.
