"Last night at the supposed to be announcement by the famous and CEO of the Halls Industries, Ethan Hall reveals a weapon that can nullify superpowers. Although we don't know if it works, he tried to used it against his brother, Nathan Hall, before the whole venue turns into a battlefield."
"Until now, the authorities are still investigating the whereabouts of Ethan Hall and the others who's involved in the fight."
The television shows a picture of seven people that is involved in the fight. Ethan Hall, Nathan Hall, Viktor Mikhailov, Valor Knight, and both 01-X and 00-X.
Although 00-X has an "X" marked on his picture, meaning that he has been caught already and put in a highly secured prison for questioning.
"Shit," Argus slam his hands on the table. "This is your fault." He says, as he glares at Viktor.
"How is this my fault? I didn't even know what he's planning to do." Viktor respond.
Argus stands up from his chair and approach Viktor, he grabs him by the collar of his shirt. "Why did you agree to her plan? Why didn't you find me first?!" He shouts in frustration.
Viktor grabs the arm of Argus, "We tried to find you. We looked everywhere but we didn't found you." He explains, trying to remove the hands that is gripping his shirt. "I thought it was necessary to go along with her plan. I didn't have all the details, Argus. And for a moment, it seemed like the right move. I'm sorry if it backfired."
Argus release him and walks away, "You didn't even tried to protect her... You just go around and rampaged like a beast."
"What? You weren't even there. You didn't know what happened in that place, I tried my best to control my transformation but I couldn't!" Viktor explained, looking at Argus with anger.
Argus looks back at Viktor, frustration evident in his eyes. "You should have known better. Look at the consequences now." He shakes his head, disappointment creeping in. "Lisa is nowhere to be found and it's all because you didn't try to reason with her."
"Alright then, put all the blame on me. I'm a beast in your eyes right? You should've killed me when you had the chance but you couldn't right? Because you're too soft to do what needs to be done." Viktor's voice quivered with anger.
The room fell into an uncomfortable silence, the tension between Argus and Viktor palpable. Argus clenched his fists, trying to contain his anger.
Viktor, on the other hand, could feel the weight of guilt and frustration bearing down on him. He knew he had made mistakes, but he was not ready to be reduced to just being labeled a beast.
"This is not going to get us anywhere." Argus says, breaking the silence. "I'll go visit someone I know, maybe he can locate where Ethan is hiding."
"Great, you do that and I'll go to NeuraCorp to find out what's happening with my ability." Viktor says, trying to forget what happened earlier.
"Sounds like a plan." Argus grab one of keys hanging on the wall and toss it to Viktor. "You can get there faster in car." He says, before grabbing another key for himself.

He gesture for Viktor to follow him on his basement. As they made their way down to the basement, Argus switched on the dim lights revealing a hidden garage. Two sleek black cars stood side by side and three motorcycles resting on the other.
"Alright this is mine." Argus says, pointing at the Black McLaren Solus Gt. He walks towards the car, admiring its sleek design and powerful engine. He presses a button on his key fob, and the car's lights flicker to life, illuminating the garage with a soft glow.
Argus then turns to Viktor, who is looking at the impressive machines in awe. "You can take the Hellcat," He says, pointing to the car on his side.
Viktor's eyes widen as he looks at the car, impressed by its powerful appearance. He walks over to the car, running his hand along the surface. "This is incredible," He whispers, a sense of excitement building within him.
Argus grins widely at Viktor's reaction, "Just be careful with it. It's my baby, don't push it too hard," He advises as he heads towards the McLaren.
As Viktor steps inside the Hellcat, he feels the leather-clad interior enveloping him, the scent of luxury and power filling his senses. Starting the engine, he hears it roar to life, a deep, powerful sound that sets his heart racing with anticipation. Adjusting the mirrors and gripping the steering wheel, he can't help but smile, feeling a surge of adrenaline at the prospect of driving such a thrilling machine.
Argus, already in his McLaren, gives Viktor a nod before revving the engine, the sound reverberating through the garage. With a quick wave, Argus speeds out of the garage, leaving Viktor to follow. Viktor takes a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as he prepares to hit the road.
...
Argus stops in front of a house, parking his car on the side of the road. He opens the door and step outside inhaling the fresh air.
The house in front of him is not big but average and cozy. He remembered his old times in this house, his father playing with him in the yard and his mother scolding him for destroying the lawn.
He chuckled softly at the memories before shaking it off and starts walking towards the house. As he walk, he saw someone looking at him by the window. He smile at the figure and the figure disappear, the door opens revealing a little girl grinning widely at him.
"Look how much you've blossomed, Milla!" Argus says, before lifting the little girl and patting her head. "Where's your daddy?"
"In the kitchen!" Milla says happily.
Argus smile at her before opening the door and putting Milla down on the floor. He puts a hand on Milla's head and smile at her again. "And your mommy?"
"At the grocery!" Milla shouts happily.
"Nuggets! Who's there?" A voice shouts, inside the house.
Milla runs towards the kitchen, leaving Argus in the living room alone. He heard Milla's voice saying excitedly that "Uncle Argus is here!"
As Argus looked around the living room, memories flooded back to him. Photos on the walls captured moments from the past, family gatherings, birthdays, and holidays. He felt a pang of nostalgia mixed with a touch of melancholy.
Soon, a man with a warm smile emerged from the kitchen, wiping his hands on a dish towel. It was Milla's father, Lucas.
"It's been too long, Argus. What brings you here?" Lucas says, still wiping his hands.
Argus smiles warmly at Lucas, "I was in town and thought I'd stop by to say hello. It's great to see you and little Milla again," He says, extending his hand for a handshake.
Lucas clasps Argus' hand firmly, his smile widening. "Well, we're glad you stopped by. Things have been quite busy around here with Milla's school and my work at the office." He close in to Argus ear to whisper something, "I know why you are here... Let's talk about it later."
Argus nodded in understanding as Lucas whispered in his ear. They exchanged a knowing look before Lucas excused himself to attend to something on the stove.
As Lucas stepped back into the kitchen, Argus took a seat on the couch in the living room, the familiar comfort of the surroundings washing over him. He could hear the faint sounds of pots clinking and Milla's giggles coming from the kitchen.
Sighing contently, Argus glanced around the room, his eyes finally resting on an old photo frame displayed on the mantelpiece. It was a picture of him, his sister, Lucas, and another person he hadn't seen in years someone who was once a dear friend.
"Ari..." A voice comes from the door. Argus turn his head and saw his sister standing by the door, looking at him in surprise. "Ariiiii! Why didn't you tell me that you would come?" His sister rushed to him and hugs him tightly.
Argus smiles at his sister, feeling a rush of warmth at her sudden embrace. "I wanted to surprise you, Aria," He says, returning the hug.
"It's good to see you, Ari. It's been too long," Aria said, pulling back from the hug and looking at him with joy.
Argus nodded, "I know, Aria. I've missed you and the family." He gestured around the familiar living room filled with memories of a time long gone.
Aria smiled, her eyes sparkling with emotion. "Well, you're here now, and that's what matters. We can catch up and spend some time together."
Just then, Milla came running back into the living room, holding a drawing in her hand. "Look, Uncle Argus! I drew a picture of all of us together!" She exclaimed, showing him the colorful drawing filled with stick figures and a big yellow sun.
Argus's heart swelled with fondness as he looked at the drawing. "It's beautiful, Milla! You're quite the little artist," He praised her, ruffling her hair affectionately.
Aria smiles at the two, "What brings you here anyway?" She asked, lifting Milla and kissing her on the cheeks.
"He's here... because of the news. I think he wants my help finding his girl." Lucas emerged from the kitchen, "Let's talk about it outside. And honey, I've made a lunch for you and Nuggets in the kitchen." He says, before gesturing for Argus to go outside.
