"You still sure about this?" Viktor asked to Lisa with a skeptical look on his face.
Lisa nods, focusing on the stage. "We need to find out what he's up to." She says, not even glancing at Viktor.
Viktor rubs the back of his head and speaks, "I don't even want to see the face of the man who altered my ability." He says, looking at his hands. "He created a monster inside of me... I'm not even confident in transforming anymore."
Lisa puts her hand on the mouth of Viktor. "Shut up, the announcement is starting."
The lights dimmed as Ethan finally stepped onto the stage. The crowd fell silent, waiting for him to speak.
Ethan cleared his throat, his voice echoing in the now quiet room. "Ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank you all for being here." He began, his eyes scanning the audience.
"So that's what he looks like, huh?" Viktor whisper to Lisa. She answered him with a nod.
"Today marks the beginning of a new era for the Halls Industries." Ethan continues. "Now, as far as all of you know, the Halls Industries are more far ahead than any industries in the world. But what you don't know is that we've been holding back. Today, I'm here to unveil our latest project! A revolutionary technology that will change the world as you know it."
The crowd starts to murmur about the mention of the new technology. They all glance at each others whispering with a smile.
"Don't get to excited now. Because this weapon I'm about to introduce to you, is unlike anything the world has ever seen," Ethan said, his voice filled pride. "Behold, the Halls Industries Power Disruptor!"
Gasps and whispers filled the room as a large curtain behind Ethan began to rise, revealing a sleek, futuristic device that's shaped like a gun.
The audience was stunned, their eyes fixed on the Power Disruptor as it stood gleaming under the spotlight. Lisa's eyes narrowed as she studied the device intently, a feeling of unease settling in the pit of her stomach.
Ethan stepped at the edge of the stage, scanning the audience again. With a satisfied look on his face, he approach the Power Disruptor.
"Now this weapon is design entirely to neutralize all the other powers, leaving its targets defenseless," Ethan continued proudly. "No more will we live in fear of those with extraordinary abilities. With the Power Disruptor, we will level the playing field and ensure a safer world for all."
The crowd erupted into a mix of gasps, murmurs, and applause. Some looked thrilled by the device, while others seemed uneasy about its implications.
"This weapon is already proven and tested, but I can demonstrate right here if you all don't believe in the power of this weapon." Ethan looked at Nathan with a smile.
Nathan eyes widened in disbelief, "What the hell is this, Ethan?" He asked, two individuals in black suit holds him firm preventing him from escaping.
Suddenly, a commotion broke out as Nathan tried to break free from the grasp of the individuals holding him. The tension in the room escalated as people shifted uneasily in their seats, unsure of what was about to happen next.

Ethan's smile widened as he raised the Power Disruptor in his hand, aiming it directly at Nathan. "Behold the power of the future," He declared confidently.
"Stop this nonsense!" Viktor shouts from the crowd.
Ethan turned his head towards Viktor and smile, "Look who decided to show up. Dr. Viktor Mikhailov. Do you want me to test this weapon on you too?"
Viktor stared at him, "You're a madman." He growls, veins popping out of his face.
Ethan smiled widely, "Now, you might want to calm down, Dr. Mikhailov. Don't go transforming on me now." He grins, a satisfied look playing on his face.
"What are you doing, Viktor? Don't transform here, many people will get caught." Lisa whispered to him with concern.
Suddenly, a burst of lightning strikes the two individuals that is holding Nathan. His eyes glowing with light blue as he runs rapidly towards Ethan.
The crowd plunges into chaos as Nathan closes in on Ethan, hitting him on the way. The Power Disruptor drops on the ground as both Ethan and Nathan crash into the wall of the stage.
The impact caused a loud crash, sending debris flying as Ethan and Nathan struggled on the stage floor. The crowd was in a state of panic, some screaming and trying to flee, while others watched in suspense, unsure of what would unfold next.
"Now might be a good time to transform, Viktor." Lisa suggests, "I'll try to get the people out of the way."
"Alright, I'll apologize in advance if I hurt you." Viktor claps his fist but nothing happened.
Lisa glance at him, confused at what he's doing. "Come on, Viktor. We need to stop him."
Viktor claps his fist again but nothing happened, as he furrowed his brows in frustration. "It's not working," He muttered, feeling a surge of panic rise within him.
Lisa's eyes widened in confusion, "What do you mean it's not working?"
Viktor tried again, focusing all his energy on the transformation, but to no avail. "What the hell is happening?!" He shouts in frustration.
Meanwhile, the struggle between Nathan and Ethan on the stage grew more intense, with both men locked in a fierce physical battle. The Power Disruptor lay forgotten on the ground.
As Lisa led the crowd to safety, she turned back to look at Viktor with concern. "We have to figure this out quickly. We can't let Ethan get his hands on that weapon."
As the chaos unfolded on stage, Lisa and Viktor frantically searched for a solution to the unexpected problem with Viktor's ability to transform. Time was running short, and the stakes were higher than ever.
Viktor closed his eyes, trying to center himself amidst the turmoil around them. "There must be a reason why I can't transform. We need to think this through logically," He said, his voice strained but determined.
"The reason is..." A voice speaks from the stage. "Because you're scared of me." Ethan emerge from the smoke, holding Nathan's unconscious body.
As Ethan stepped forward, a menacing grin on his face, Viktor felt a chill run down his spine. He knew that facing Ethan without his full power was a dangerous gamble. Lisa moved closer to Viktor, ready to support him in any way she could.
Viktor clenched his fists, trying to push past his fear and doubt. "I'm not scared of you, Ethan. I just need to figure out what's blocking my transformation," He declared, his voice steady despite the tension in the air.
Ethan chuckled darkly, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Oh, but you are, Viktor. You fear what you can unleash, the power that lies within you. That's why you're struggling now, why your ability have abandoned you when you need it the most."
Lisa stepped in, her voice firm and unwavering. "We don't have time for your mind games."
"Alright, that's a good speech, Lisa. But the only way we can stop him is for me to transform." Viktor whisper to her.
SOMEWHERE IN MANHATTAN...
Inside a run down bar, Reaper is dragging Argus who is tied up in chain. As the two entered the dimly lit bar, the air hung heavy with the stench of stale cigarettes and spilled whiskey. The patrons glanced up briefly, then returned to their drinks, uninterested in the unfolding drama.
He continues to drags Argus until he's in front of a curtain, Reaper yanked the chain, causing the unconscious Argus to stumble on the ground.
The room fell silent as Reaper grabbed the curtains and pulled them aside, revealing a hidden doorway.
He opens the door and reveals a large man is sitting across the room. His expression cold and serious as he stared at Reaper.
"I have a gift for you, boss." Reaper says, tossing the unconscious Argus in front of the man.
The large man examines Argus with a discerning eye, his gaze unwavering. He then looks up at Reaper, his face remaining impassive. "What's this?" He asks in a deep, gravelly voice.
Reaper smirks, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "This one here... is a special gift. He's caused me a lot of trouble. Thought you might want to deal with him yourself."
"I've asked for Argus not Valor Knight." The man says, staring coldly at Reaper.
"He's in front of you right now." The curtains opens and Rose strides inside, kneeling down in front of Argus to remove his mask.
Rose's hands tremble slightly as she removes Argus's mask, revealing his face. His expression is one of pain and resignation, his eyes closed as if trying to shut out the world.
The large man leans forward, his eyes narrowing as he studies Argus's face. Recognition flashes in his eyes for a moment before being replaced by a cold mask of indifference.
"So he's got a new persona, huh?" He mutters, more to himself than to anyone else in the room.
Rose looks up at the large man, her voice steady but tinged with a hint of desperation. "You've already got what you want." She rolled her eyes in frustration. "Now tell me, Baron. Where's my daughter?"
Baron glances at Rose with an unreadable expression and simply responds, "Your daughter is safe, for now."
