### M's Mansion

M: **"Motherfucker. I am going to kill you."**

S: **"Okay, bye."** S hangs up the call. M: **"Asshole."**

### That Night

A group of people breaks into M's mansion and confronts him.

M: **"So, are you the motherfuckers who stole from the King of Kings, or just another batch of robbers that's been bothering me?"**

They attack M.

M: **"Looks like I got my answer."**

The robbers use various powers, such as fire, wind, and lightning, but M effortlessly beats them all and ties them up. He begins to interrogate them.

M: **"So, are you going to talk the easy way or the hard way?"**

The robbers: **"You're free to do whatever you want to us, but we'll never talk."**

M: **"Okay, then the hard way it is. Now I am going to torture you."**

M tortures them, cutting their fingers over and over again and performing inhuman acts. Now they are begging to be killed.

The robbers: **"Please kill us already! We beg you!"**

M: **"Then tell me where the project is and who sent you."**

The robbers: **"We don't know where the project is, but the one who sent us is named the Monarch..."**

M: **"What the fuck? Who the hell is the Monarch?"**

A meeting is called by S.

Blue: **"Why did you call us?"**

Light: **"Exactly! I was having a great time partying and having sex, you know."**

A: **"Why are we here?"**

Red: **"I also want to know that."**

S: **"Ladies and gentlemen, we have found the people who stole from us."**

Light: **"What?"**

S: **"Well, at least their dead bodies."**

M enters the meeting room and throws the bodies on the floor.

M: **"Here are your thieves. I tortured them. They didn't know where the project was, but they did tell me about who targeted you: his name is the Monarch, whoever the fuck that is."**

Light: **"The Monarch? Who is that?"**

M: **"Don't know. Bye."**

A: **"How are you sure they were the same thieves who stole from us? Couldn't they be random mercenaries sent to kill you?"**

Blue: **"You do have a lot of enemies, and who wouldn't want to kill the person who beat the King of Kings to take our place?"**

M: **"They were using your powers. They were enhanced by the project."**

S: **"This is getting interesting."**

M: **"Fire is one of Red's two primary powers, right? And Blue Lightning is Blue's. They were using them."**

A: **"Couldn't they break the barrier and attain power like you? No, their wills were too weak for that."**

S: **"They are trying to access the system."**

Light: **"What?"**

Red: **"We need to stop them!"**

M: **"Well, good luck with that. I am leaving. Bye."**

Red: **"Where do you think you're going? You're involved in this too! If they access the system, everyone will be dead—everyone that you ever loved will be gone!"**

M: **"Even if I believe that, why would I ever work with you guys? You don't know anything!"**

S: **"Who do you think we are, morons? We already know the location of the project and possibly someone who can tell us more about it: the Ancients."**

M: **"The what?"**

Light: **"There is a period of time, even before the war, that has been completely wiped out of history. We call it the Dark Era. It's like 100 years were just cut out of the calendar."**

Red: **"The footsteps of the Dark Era were washed away, but the steps taken were not. After the Dark Era, the existence of nanites was found, and the foundation of the project was laid. There were people before us who created the foundation of the project. They are the Ancients."**

S: **"And we have the project."**

M: **"What?"**

S: **"Or at least the heart of the project: the system. Computer?"**
