Chapter 6: Siegword's Legacy

Chapter 6: Siegword's Legacy

Dawn saw the knife swing down towards him. He watched as it slowly changed in its size getting smaller and smaller. The knife then curved itself into a circle. Siegword smiled as he slipped the knife ring onto his finger.

Dawn sat up and looked at him in awe. Siegword smiled a prideful smile as he looked at Dawn.

"I thought you were going to kill me!" Dawn exclaim as he got up. Siegword let out a laugh.

"Why would I kill someone I just gave a gift to? Does that make sense to you?" Siegword said as he pointed at Dawn. Dawn's face was priceless as he had his mouth open and his green eyes were wide open. Siegword couldn't help but laugh at how horrified he looked, and then how in awe he looked afterwards.

Siegword gave Dawn a pat on the back, and then he decided I'm going to make him my student. Siegword liked Dawn although they haven't met for long. He usually went with his gut feeling, and Siegword's gut feeling right now was to make Dawn his apprentice.

Dawn gave Siegword a glare in which he just laughed again. The villagers nearby were already asleep so Siegword was trying his hardest not to laugh so loud. Then curiosity hit Dawn a bit late as Dawn pointed at the knife ring.

"How did you do that?!" He asked half whispering and half yelling. Siegword gave Dawn a smug look, and then leaned into his ear. Dawn -being an actual girl- blushed from the sudden closeness at Siegword. Lett never had a man come that close to her before, an extremely attractive man at that.

"Do you really want to know?" Siegword whispered into Dawn's ear. Dawn's body froze in spot, but he slightly nodded his head. Siegword smiled. "I guess luck is on your side then Dawn. I will give you a chain quest and if you complete it, I will share with you my knowledge, but first you have to become my student." Siegword stepped away from Dawn.

Siegword's Legacy

The last Blood Elf, Siegword, had been looking for someone to take along the same path he took. Become his student and complete his quests to learn a hidden class.

Difficulty Level: Unknown

Warning: Quest ends if Siegword dies

Reward: Intimacy with Siegword, and gaining a hidden class

Dawn stood there and bit his lip. He learned from the informational book that a person can only take on four quests at a time. Dawn also didn't know if he wanted to continue playing the game. His only goal at he moment was to send the villagers home. Siegword seeing that Dawn was unsure of what to do, spoke about his quest.

"Did you like the ring you receive earlier?" Siegword ask Dawn. Dawn looked up to him with interest now. He honestly did like the ring a lot. Other than the fact that he was an actual girl, and that girls liked jewelry, he loved the colors that the opal gave off.

"Yes..." Dawn replied.

"Let me tell you a secret then. If you accept this chain quest, then you will see things that are so much more beautiful. If you think that tiny stone was beautiful, then imagine seeing hundreds of them at the same time. Imagine the most beautiful gem you have ever seen, and imagine something more beautiful that that." Seigword grabbed Dawn's right hand which had the opal ring on it. He pointed at the tiny stone, and stared into Dawn's green eyes.

"Imagine this surrounding you." He said in a low voice. Dawn had a grin on his face now.

"Hehe.... hehehehe.... to be surrounded by so many colors.... hehe...." Dawn could only imagine how wonderful that would be. He cleared his throat, and with a serious face he looked Siegword in the eyes. "I accept," he said in a serious tone. Siegword let go of his hand, and he smiled.

  You have accepted the quest.

Dawn felt extremely excited from just thinking about what Siegword said. Siegword smiled as he felt he got someone strong for an apprentice.

"Now I want you to show me your stats my new student," Siegword said to Dawn. Dawn looked at him, and nodded.

"Stats," Dawn said.

Dawn went through his options until he found what he was looking for.

Allow Siegword to see stats? YesNo

"Yes."  Dawn said.

You have granted Siegword permission to see your stats.

Siegword smiled as he was expecting Dawn to be at least level 35 from earlier. He saw that Dawn lowered the BodyEater's health by 15 HP, and all he did was throw a rock!

As Siegword's eyes glance at Dawn's stats, his mouth slowly dropped when he saw Dawn's level. Siegword began to regret what he had just done. Why did I trust my gut feeling this time?! Siegword thought as he felt took in deep breaths.

"Dawn?" He said through his teeth.

"Yes?"

"You are at Level  0?"

"Yes." Dawn said calmly. Siegword looked at Dawn with a face that looked like he was tricked by a con artist.

"YOU ARE JUST LEVEL 0?!" Siegword yelled. Dawn looked nervously at the villagers, but they seemed to still be sleeping.

"Keep your voice down." Dawn said. Siegword looked at the villagers. He then pulled Dawn and led Dawn to a place a couple feet away from the villagers. Siegword looked at Dawn with accusing eyes.

"Did you trick me?" Siegword said as he pointed his finger at Dawn.

"What?!"

"Did you lie to me?"

"Lie to you about what?"

"How could you damage that BodyEater and you are at Level 0. At that level you shouldn't even be able to lower his heath by 1 HP! When he threw you back you would've died from the impact!"

"Huh?"

"Don't try to act innocent you probably know who I am so you tried to trick me!" Siegword unsheathe his sword and pointed it at Dawn. Dawn raised up his arms  in fear.

"What are you saying? I never lied to you!" Dawn said as he moved back trembling. Siegword stared into his eyes. He didn't trust Dawn as much anymore as he did before, but he didn't want to kill him after making Dawn his student. He thought for a while and then decided he will find out the truth.

"Prove to me then," Siegword said as he pointed the sword up to Dawn's neck. "Prove to me that you didn't lie to me." Dawn looked at him confused.

"How?"

"Tell me how you got here. Tell me how a level 0 human was able to travel this far. Unless you have some kind of skill you would've died already. No one can make it this far out of the cities or kingdom unless they were at least level 25 and they would still be struggling to survive!" Siegword lifted his sword, tilting Dawn's head up. Siegword was cautious as he was tricked many times in the past. He was skilled in what he did, and people wanted to take his knowledge even if it meant that they had to take it by force.

Dawn really didn't want to die again. He didn't understand why Siegword was pointing a sword at him. He thought that that Siegword was his teacher now. Oh no! I really don't want to die by getting sliced  Dawn thought. He learned from the informational book that the game is designed so that the player will feel every physical touch as they are. Dawn opened his mouth to talk.

"I just fell from the sky and landed here!" Dawn said with his eyes shut tightly. "I swear I haven't even heard of you. I don't even know who you except for the things you have told me. " Dawn figured  that if he closed his eyes that the pain would not hurt as much if Siegword does decide cut him down.

Siegword looked at Dawn up and down. He analyzed him, and he felt that something was missing. Keeping his knife still up at Dawn's neck, he then this time, meticulously analyze Dawn's stats. His sword slowly inch away from Dawn's neck and then fell to the ground.

CLANG!

Dawn slowly open one eye before opening the other. There in front of him he saw Siegword with a grin on his face. Dawn raised his eyebrows. What's wrong with his guy? First he asks if I want to become his student, then the next he is accusing me of lying to him, now he's standing there with a big smile across his face!  Dawn looked at Siegword with a nervous expression.

Siegword turned back to Dawn, and then slowly started laughing. He wrapped his muscular arm around Dawn's shoulder and Dawn froze in place.

"This is going to be fun," He said as he smirked. Oh no... maybe I shouldn't have accepted this after all! was all Dawn thought as he looked at Siegword's face.
