Chapter 8 A sea of People

-New tokyo city 2 years later---

The bustling streets of a monday in new tokyo city were a sight to behold, millions of people walking along the street, each having their own individual purpose, not caring about the person next to them. Among the sea of people was Elliot, dressed in a tall black suit, with a white tie and handkerchief to go with it. Elliot was currently standing still in the sea of people as he was looking through the crowd for someone. Elliot was continuously looking until he found the person he was looking for, and began to pursue him.

As Elliot was pursuing his target, the target began to run, so Elliot began to run after him, Elliot’s target began to sprint for his life as he broke from the stream with Elliot following behind on his tail. Elliot’s target began to run into a dark alleyway with a getaway car waiting for him, Elliot began to sprint towards his target as he was making his escape. As the car roared to life, it began to take off from the alleyway, and began to hover off of the ground.

Elliot stopped and stared directly at the fleeting car, and all of time stopped. When time stopped, Elliot took extra caution at how he moved, because when he moved, so did the car. Elliot pulled out his Charge pistol and took aim, he shot three bullets of energy, and then, time resumed, the two shots hit the main stabilizers, and the third directly turned off the generator of the car, making it spin out of control and crash into a building.

Elliot walked towards the wreckage and looked at his target, Male, bald, with a blood red jacket and beige pants with a backpack slung over his shoulder. Elliot stared directly into the man's eyes, before pulling him out of the wreckage along with two other men, one the driver of the vehicle, and the other who was armed with a run of the mill, standard pistol. Elliot then relived the first man of his backpack, and began to auto-call his handler.

"Hello?"

"Yeah, its me, i got the guy along with the other two men, can you send someone to clean up this mess while i get this intell back to you guys?"

"Ok, i'll send someone over to pick you up"

Elliot sighed as he sat down with his back resting on the wall of a building, he was still new to his job, but it was the most exhilarating thing he had ever done in his life. Granted, all he did in his last life, was just sit on his butt all day, never doing anything fun. Elliot sat, as he waited for his handlers car to appear in the distance.
