“Wake up Sis! Wake Up! Have you forgotten that today’s your birthday!”
“Argh, Agape, let me sleep a little longer. I had a bad dream last night.”
“Noooooo, we have so much to do today! Come on Sis! Wake up!”
Agape tried shaking but it was no use. She repeated the words like a broken recorder to elicit some kind of response.
“Wake up Sis! Wake up!”
“Arghh, alright! 5 mins.”
Agape remained silent before sniffing her nose. Thrice. This was a sign. Agape was about to cry and if she cried, even the Monkey King couldn’t rebel.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
“OKAY, OKAY, I’M UP! Don’t cry okay?”
“Mhmmm!” Agape grinned.
A disaster avoided. One that you wouldn’t expect from a 5-year-old girl, no taller than an acoustic guitar. Her cinnamon-coloured hair and light brown eyes reflected maturity despite her age.
And this makes her even cuter. You’ll know what I mean. But first, back to the story.

Hello, is this working?
Nevermind let’s just give it a go!
Hellooo, I am Syndesi!
And I’m turning 7 today!!
I love to connect with new people and make many many friends.
Primary school has just started and things are so fun and exciting with my new deskmate, Ruth.
For some strange reason, I feel a strong connection to food. I don’t really know how to describe it but it just makes me feel at ease.
Probably explains why I LOVE BAKING.
“Hey Syndesi! Hurry up! Mom’s waiting.”
“I’m almost done recording Agape, don’t rush me!”
That’s my cue. Guess I gotta go and bake some birthday cookies with Mom and Sis. See you!
