I sip my afternoon tea while gazing upon the sun as it flows between the horizon and the sky. It became a daily routine for me with the rubbish that goes on in my life, as it sometimes angers me and is my only way to release some stress. 'If only life was as easy as drinking tea' I contemplated to myself while my feet is on top of a white stone like substance that is capable of withstanding level 6 grade magic spells. Our magic system or should I say magic ranking system is based upon numbers that go from level 1 to all the way up to level 12 magic spells.

I finished up sipping the tea and my vision goes downward as I look over the edge of the balcony to see a city that is about to pack up, as the night's darkness replaces the bright light that comes with the sun. 'It's about time I go inside as well' I thought to myself and went through the glass doors that are too expensive for normal civilians to purchase.

My body move towards the glass doors until I go through it entirely and what lays upon me is an enormous room that is capable of storing about 4 rooms in 1. It was extremely gorgeous as it has everything that an average commoner would dream to have. Such as the beautiful personal mirror or all the white wood cabinets that holds a large proportion of platinum that could easily make an entire country go crazy for it.

I move towards the mirror to look at myself, and what appears in the mirror is a stunning girl with red ruby lips, and her black hair that flows to the back of her head. My pale skin and my red eyes that matches with my lips and give out the feeling of innocence to people around me.

All of these features can be called beautiful but at the same time it can also be deceiving to the point that experience people who have been around tricky individuals won't be able to tell what I am thinking.

The dress I am wearing is red with a spot of white near the chest area which is kinda of large but I don't mind that. Also, frills surround my dress as it can be said to flow in the wind and make my appearance more majestic as some say, when they are looking at me.

Well, it's not like I always wanted to become a bishoujo anyway, since it causes a lot of attention to fall on me. Oh yea, I forgot to introduce myself to the people who might not know me.

My name is Cordelia Lorain who some might call a monster while others call me beautiful, but I would like to refer to myself as an innovator who comes up with magic spells and magic tools alike. In other words I am the head of the intuition for magic development and magic tools or for short IMDMT. The world I am residing in is called Moris and the country that holds me is referred by the name the Lunark Kingdom. Usually when a country or nation in this world is made the name can be traced back in the past where you almost always find the name of the nation given by the ruler of its time.

For this specific Kingdom the name originated when the God of Darkness, Lunark who had contacted the first ever humans had told them to follow him as he would brings gifts and whatnot. As they listen to his request and followed it, he gave a weapon to the ruler of the group which was forged personally by the God of Darkness and used to fight off their foes. They soon were able to build a settlement and began the process of civilization making. Well, that is some history lessons for you guys who don't go to the church of Lunark.

If it were me in the past I would find it fishy that some omnipotent being would want something like that. Now, I know these so called 'omnipotent' being are nothing more than a powerful being that are competing for power from one and another. Well, it's not like I have any say in the matter and I don't care at this point about the gods little hierarchy between each anyway.

There is also one last important task that I almost forgot to do in my room before I go off to sleep. Yes that's it! I need to finish preparing my belonging as something big is going to happen tomorrow and I'm going be in the front of it all. So, I grabbed my dimensional ring that is capable of holding large quantities of items which is basically 10 houses of objects.

With my scheduling for tomorrow almost finish. I take off all my clothes because it feels uncomfortable sleeping with them on, and I put my clothes in the wardrobe, as my dimensional ring is safe kept in a magical chest that is as large as the palm of your hand and placed it behind a hidden safe in the wall.

Morning hits and a knocking sounds comes from the door as I wake up from my wonderful sleep which I haven't had in a long time. As I get up from the bed and walk towards the door to open it, to see who visited me this early in the morning. Who came into view was a handsome butler with golden hair and beautiful azure eyes, as he wears the usual black and white butler clothing. The butler has his eyes closed while bowing with one arm on the heart. As a sign of respect to me his superiors and gives off the feeling of elegance to him from the bow.

"Mistress, it's about time for your me-"-???

The butler pauses in the middle of his sentence as he goes to look up at me.

"W-why are you not wearing any clothes mistress?!?!"-???

I look at myself, and saw I was not wearing any clothes at all as 2 large pale mountain come into my view and I thought to myself 'no wonder it felt so windy today'. Since, the butler standing in front of me was a childhood friend I didn't get embarrassed at all, but I felt like teasing him a bit.

"E-Erwin I never knew were you like this."-Cordelia

I said nervously as my body swirled around a little bit with Erwin's face blushing red with denial.

"It's not what you think MISTRESS!"-Erwin

Erwin closes the door with enough force to cause cracks on the nearby walls and a shockwave comes from the impact of the door closing. Well, the door is pretty durable I gotta say at least and it seems like I got a good reaction from my cute little butler that seems to stick to me like glue.

He was one of my extremely few childhood friends that really like staying with me for some reason as I almost invariably get him killed, as we traveled in adventures that would given any other children death. Erwin wasn't the only child that gone on life or death adventures as well like the 2 other boys also traveled along with me.

Erwin was strange because of the fact he was insanely strong to the point of calling it unfair to even the most elite soldiers in the kingdom. Well, if you somehow survive a journey with me I wouldn't call it an over exaggeration of being too powerful like the 2 others that somehow survive as well.

I smiled to myself as my mind seems to drift about the happy past times between me and my friends but that doesn't happen anymore. It saddens me as I look at my life and compare it to back then in the days when I had more freedom. My parents always supported me even though I was the heiress of the Lorain family and as they have given me way too much freedom but it honestly made me a better person overall.

At least my parents never knew of my secret activities of experimenting on humans who I deem worthless to the world. That is how I was called a wolf in sheep clothing but I don't really mind that as it is only a small step I had to take to improve my magic.

Well, enough about my past since, I really need to put on some clothes and prepare for the day to come. So, I begin to search the wardrobe for my formal clothing which includes parties, meetings, and other events. Which was basically the clothes from yesterday, as I got them out them out of the wardrobe and wear it in my personal bathroom.

I got everything prepared and waited for my butler to come back to me after I made him sound like a pervert. Well, today is going to be a interesting day I smiled to myself as I waited for the embarrass Erwin to come back.
