Why do I have to get into a magic battle with a wizard? Especially this one, he is annoying, aggravating, arrogant who really makes me want to just use a super spell and blow up the whole entire place.

He has black hair that reach his necks while wearing a black robe that covers up most of his body. Also, having black eyes and a cute face but that didn't matter as his personality just absolutely make his face turn into a monster.

I almost made an order for my Body guards to stand to protect me as I prepare a super spell to blow up the place but resist since it will ruin the plan. Okay you might be asking why I'm so upset at the Grand Wizard of the Royal court Wizards. 

Well, me and Arnold go way back when I made my organization for magic and of the such. He being the Grand Wizard and us having a 2 year age difference gave him the ideal that he was able to beat me in a fight.

Arnold lost horribly with his face planted into the ground before getting right back up to challenge me yet again in battle. It happened so many times that it forced me to put Marielle on guard duty to defend against him.

Arnold only helped with the king's research on magic, so even if a rebellion happened in front of him he would just look the other way. Also, he only helps in fights when there is a country annihilating ours.

So, I thought that he would do the same thing but forgot that he would always pick a fight with me. Also, since Marielle is busy still getting rid of the general that I'm stick fighting this twat. 

I sighed to myself before jumping ahead of my guards and standing in front of Arnold with my arms on the hips. Arnold looked at me with his black eyes staring into my own as a imagery lighting came from his forehead towards mine.

"Hmph! You think I will lose to you again Cordelia!?!"-Arnold

I sigh yet again before I look at him with my red eyes lay upon Arnold for a few seconds.

"Fine, since this will probably be my last match in a long time, I will give you one chance to beat me and if you do I will do whatever you ask."-Cordelia 

He seemed to blush so hard that I thought he turned into a tomato for a few seconds before he shook his head and looked at me 

"Under the condition that you have to follow my orders if I win."-Cordelia 

"Well, I will accept so I can finally show you that I'm the superior one in magic!"-Arnold

Like all the seriousness disappeared from the room as Arnold accepted the challenged from me. I smiled to myself but was still worried that I might lose but I already did something that can get me killed. 

Erwin looked at Arnold with jealous eyes but quickly refocused his attention on Kanis. Sensing more enemies pouring in. I had my Guards fend them off while I take on the Grand Wizard with my magic.

Just like that I activated my ultimate magic [Incantation Disruption] making anyone who only relies on incantation useless or cutting a person's ability in half if they use some incarnation. I already knew that this ability doesn't completely defeat Arnold but it is capable of cutting half of his abilities.

Realizing that I stopped most of his abilities from working he prepares to use chant less spells to fight me. I am a specialist of chant less magic which are weaker than normal magic but is quicker depending on your brain's imaginary ability on how fire is formed.

For me, I thought about what are the necessary requirements for fire such as making the particles in the air excited or speed it up. This helped create strong spells that normally can't be done without the power science!

A fire about the size of this room is shot towards Arnold with the intent to hurt him without holding back. He steps back and uses something that I didn't expect at all; it was the [storage] spell, the flames is sucked into Arnold hand.

For a second I didn't believe my eyes but quickly focused just in time as he throws back the flame from his hand at me. I used a water barrier to stop the incoming spell but I suddenly felt a presence right behind me.

Arnold disappeared from his earlier position and appeared right behind and to stop his movement I used a spell called [Ground Shackles]. Multiple chain like things came from the ground and underneath Arnold's feet. 

Completely caught off guard by the chains, he panicked and shot out a spear made out of darkness at it. Using that brief moment of an opening I used an ice spell called [Ice Prison] and froze his body which could now be called nothing but a chunk of ice.

He isn't able to beat me as I am basically a master at chant less magic compared to his mediocre skills at it. But with his incantation he could of probably made it even against me that Is if I didn't use [Incantation Disruption] than we would of been even.

The only that I can consider good about him in chant less magic combat is that he used some of skills wisely. Like his [Storage] skill to suck up my flame and throw it right back but other than that he is absolutely slow when it came to getting a magic prepared.

Looking across the room, I saw my bodyguards fighting against some of the surviving royal knights. Marielle looked like she was playing around with Lancaster while giving small jabs here and there.

Erwin slashed his light sword downward towards the old black knight Kanis. Good, good everything seemed to be going well for the time being. 

I sense something from coming right behind and reacted in a instinct by making an ice shield against a sword slash. I sighed to myself before I looked at the one that did it, it was Rin my childhood friend who's good at both magic and swordsmanship.

"Okay Rin, I see that you made your choice on what you are going to do."-Cordelia 

I looked at him as he shoots off a spell called [Flamethrower] that melted my ice barrier. He stared back at me with his rapier pointed at me, I looked back with my own serious face before he started talking.

"You already know that I want information on what you are doing."-Rin

I looked at him and sighed before I used my thought process to create a rapier made out of ice. The rapier had an ice hilt as half circle facing down was above it, 

"First things first, until you beat me in a duel than I will start talking but as of right now nothing is coming out of my mouth."-Cordelia 

I made a excited smiled as my I took a position to confront the more experienced Rin in a fencing duel. Each of his move was precise and agile as he closes on my position. 

I watched all of his movement analyzing it carefully until he stepped in front of my eye sight. In that moment I clashed my ice sword with his adamantine magic enchanted rapier. 

The weapon was capable of slicing any weapon of lower quality in half as the material used was adamantine the strongest metal known to us. That just means I enchanted this ice rapier to the absolute limit and by the fact that I'm the strongest magician in this whole entire country makes it much more of a factor.

Well, if I were to add my own enchants on Rin's sword I'm pretty sure it will reach legendary status. I used the ice category for my magic skills for the reason that I don't want to keep changing elements or else it will hurt my head. 

I only did it for Arnold to confuse him with using different magic spells but for Rin it will not work because of his insanely adaptable fighting style he has. If I try anything against him, it will be shut down or counteracted. 

So, my only way of beating him now is sticking to my one ice magic set that is basically the bane of his fire skills other than water. We looked at each other for a second before he quickly followed up his attack and ducked a horizontal slash that I used.

"This reminds me of the times when we were younger and I challenged you to a duel with a rapier."-Rin

"Oh yes, I remember the times when you challenged me to a duel and lost horribly because I cheated with magic augmentation skills."-Cordelia 

He looked devastated after he heard those very words "cheat" as his eyes stared at me.

"What!? So, all that hard training to beat you for nothing!?"-Rin

I snickered to myself before continuing to clash swords with him but he seemed to make his attacks stronger and more complicated patterns. He did a slashing motion against me and I went to block it but realized at the last moment that the attack was a feint as I fall in.

Rin pointed his rapier at me with a smug he smile as he realized that he 'might' of won but did he forget that I always have a barrier to protecting me? I used a ice magic spell [Ice Prison] and tried to freeze his body but realizing that, he jumped away.

He didn't get out of my magic unscathed as his hands were frozen solid from the attack, basically making him unable to attack using his rapier that is on the floor. I thought he would run away at this point but what he did next completely caught me off guard.

"[Explosion]!"-Rin

That goddamn crazy stupid ass sucking bitch had just poured most of his mana into that spell just now! It shot him towards me with his ice blocked hands coming right at me, I wasn't able to react to the sudden insane act and was unable to stop it as everything right behind was a fireball. 

I thought he just blew up the whole entire palace but realized it was condensed into a small fireball explosion so no one else got involve with it. He used his ice blocks to smash my mana shield, but was unable to stop his momentum as he came speeding towards me.

He crashed into me, as I felt my whole entire body feels shaky and I opened my eyes to see him kissing me? I looked at him and blinked a few times before he opened his eyes as well.
