Bo smiled as he walked into Veronica's Rest. The dungeon may have simply been the easiest one for him to access, not requiring him to travel away from home or deal with any other barriers to entry, but he still quite enjoyed just how easily he could conquer it. No matter how much time passed and no matter how many new challenges were added, nothing had been enough to stand in his way. Each time he always managed to leave after successfully defeating the Dungeon Master.
It was a bit of a shame that defeating the Dungeon Master didn't give experience the way that killing [Monsters] did. Perhaps things would be different if he destroyed the dungeon core, but he didn't actually have any interest in that. While others might make it difficult if they knew he was upsetting the Dungeon Master, there were only consequences if he directly damaged the dungeon itself. He had even been careful to not overdo things, taking breaks with some regularity to ensure he wouldn't end up corrupting the dungeon core by killing Veronica too often. Even as lacking as others might think he was in the brains department, he was still more than aware of the basics of dungeon protocol.
There still wasn't an altar room, nor a tribute room on the first floor, even despite the second floor being unlocked. So, he just left his tribute with the others piled up in the first [Monster] field room. Hopefully, the Dungeon Master would get her act together soon and sort the problem out so things didn't feel so cluttered. This was a sacred space meant for battle, not for holding such petty trinkets.
Despite having conquered the first floor boss and very easily being able to head directly up to the second floor through the stairs directly at the end of the hall, Bo still preferred to start from the beginning and fight his way up. He went through each and every room meticulously killing each of the gargoyles before making his way into the first challenge room. The tropical parkour room may have given him some difficulty at one point, but he had gotten the hang of it after much practice.
With ease, he jumped from wooden ball to wooden ball. They were round and easy to slip off, painful if you took the fall full force, but he had gotten used to the pain and had even invested in climber's gear to make it easier to retain the traction needed to not slip off. As for the weak wall push [Traps], he was more than strong enough to resist their force and he had even developed a strategy for pushing them back while slowly progressing forward. He just had to shove his body up against the wall, exerting his force as he slowly dragged himself forward. In order to prevent his arms from getting painfully scraped up, he had to invest in some special arm coverings, but it was still cheaper than potions were.
The platforms could also be handled using climber's gear, so it didn't take long before he was finished with that challenge. Receiving the luxury towel set, he stuffed it into his magic bag. Surprisingly, the merchants seemed to think this trash was worth something and were happy enough to pay him for it. He wouldn't complain, though, it just meant he could afford what he did need to continue conquering the dungeon.
The next challenge room was the firewalk, which had taken quite a while to figure out. More than a dozen times he had scorched his feet badly, only thinking of trying fire resistance and heat resistance potions to better endure it before using a healing potion once he was finished. However, he had managed to figure out that walking slower with a more even pace resulted in less severe, or even no, burns. That had made his trips to the dungeon much less expensive.

The fancy silver mirror and comb set were still not really of any interest to Bo, but he once more stuffed them into his magic bag. The merchants also seemed interested in them and he was hardly going to say no to the extra coin. He could use it to buy the nonsense they wanted at the tavern for a proper meal when he was done here. He hadn't really understood what was going on, but had carefully observed as people paid with things like leaves, flowers, and berries for their meals and had tried doing so himself. The maiden who served his meal had shaken her head, insisting he was paying too much, but he didn't really understand the payment system so he just let her collect as much as he owed, continuing to bring too much payment each time.
Perhaps the only challenge that really gave him any trouble was the tavern maze. At first, he had tried to complete it on his own, but he kept getting frustrated and ended up just destroying everything to get to the next room. He even had special tools to cut down the massive magic trees on this floor, which worked just as well on the hedge maze bushes. Nowadays, he didn't even bother with attempting the challenge as he found it easier to just cut a path between the [Monster] field rooms and just continue on without completing it. It was a shame to not complete the challenge, but what merit was there to such a thing anyway? It was just a stupid waste of time to wander around trying to figure out the right path forward!
It wasn't long before he came upon the first floor boss room. Bo smiled wider as he excitedly made his way forward, following the torch-lit stone path until he came upon the steps of the stone altar. The winged monstrosity gargoyle was already waiting for him at the top, ready to attack when he took the last step to the top platform. The boss [Monster] was impressive for only belonging to the first floor, but it was still no match for Bo.
Even as the creature flapped its wings, forcing wind and bits of grit into Bo's face, he smiled. He stalked his prey, excitedly waiting for his opponent to make the first move. When it did, it was fast as it slashed its claws outwards in the direction of his face. Bo grabbed its arms in retaliation, bending it until it broke, stone crumbling and falling to the ground around them. After so many times fighting together, the boss [Monster] still had yet to give up on the thought of defeating him, but it had gotten much more aggressive in its attacks, almost as if it held a grudge against him. Bo laughed, amused by the thought and he continued to decimate his opponent.
Where a normal combat-based adventurer might have to use a hammer or even a mix of fire and ice magic to crack the stone of the boss [Monster], Bo could easily rely on his strength. There wasn't much that could stand in his way and this dungeon was certainly no match for him. In a matter of a few short hours, the first floor was conquered and it was onto the second floor. There, he met little resistance as he could easily travel a straight path to the boss platform. The goblins with their weak weapons couldn't do any significant damage and were far too hesitant in their attacks. He killed each and every one of them as he made his way to the swamp boss room.
The water elementalist class goblin had fear in its eyes as it summoned a large amount of water from a nearby body of water, trying to drown Bo with the sheer volume. However, Bo continued forward, barely hindered as he held his breath. There was almost no joy to it as he strangled the creature to death, ending its life in no time at all. Now only the Dungeon Master was left and he could call it a day.
