Chapter 110
Acheron turned and walked away only to be met with an angry look from Rose.
“What?” Acheron asked innocently,
“Acheron-sama, those shoes cost 1,300 dollars and you just… *sigh* never mind,” Rose just gave up and quietly followed behind him,
“What about the mess? And the blood on your arm?”
Acheron turned to look at Rose and smiled,
“What mess?”
Rose snapped her head back only to see an empty alley. Nobodies, no blood.
When she turned back to look at Acheron, he had a towel and was in the process of cleaning up his arm. Rose closed her eyes in frustration and slapped the back of Acheron’s head.
“You know I hate it when you do that! And where did your socks go?!” Rose exclaimed,
Acheron chuckled,
“I know, but it’s funny seeing people’s reactions,”
Rose could swear she heard some laughter from behind her, but she didn’t turn around to check.
“We’re almost there, it’s just across the street in the alley,” Acheron stated,
Just as Acheron was about to step on the street, a loud honking sound came from his right.
*HOOOOOOONK*
Acheron turned to look, only to see a delivery truck barreling towards him at high speeds. Acheron just stood there with a smile on his face but was quickly pulled back to the sidewalk by Rose.
*WOOSH*
The truck sped right past them, the driver never even attempting to brake.
Acheron dropped on his knees, his face showing extreme sorrow.
“Acheron-sama?!”

Acheron looked up to see a worried Rose.
“That was my one chance at reincarnation…” Acheron said,
“…”
It took a couple of seconds to process what Acheron just said but once she did, she remembered ‘Truck-Kun’, a famous entity heard about in Japan. Rose raised her fist in anger before knocking Acheron into the ground.
“Even if you were sent flying by 20 trucks, you would be fine by the time you hit the ground!” Rose exclaimed,
“That’s true,” Acheron said as he once again looked up and smiled at Rose,
They both stared at each other before they burst into laughter.
“Come on, let’s go,”
Acheron and Rose walked across the street and disappeared into another dark alley.
Deep in the alley, Acheron and Rose stopped in front of a metal door, above it, a sign reading ‘Underground Club’. Acheron knocked three times and a rectangular peephole slid opened, a gruff voice asking,
“Password?”
“Look at me, do I need a password?” Acheron asked,
The peephole closed, and the sounds of locks being undone rang out. The door opened and were ushered inside by a short man with goat horns on his head.
Rose was surprised as she stared at the short man especially his legs that also looked like goats. The man sneered at her and snapped at her.
“What you looking at, Red?! Never seen a satyr before?!”
“No, actually,” Rose responded,
“Eh?” the satyr wasn’t ready for such a response, so he was left without words.
Rose just followed Acheron after responding to the goat man.
“Stay close, Rose, most aren’t too friendly to humans, even less to insectoids like me, especially if they have been around for more than 50 years,” Acheron whispered,
“Also, stay away from satyrs as a general rule, they can mate with all demi-humans and tend to give off old man rape vibes,”
Rose nodded and quickly grabbed Acheron’s arm, causing a huge blush to appear on her face.
“Hey! I heard that you know!” Called out the satyr behind them,
“Did I say anything false?!” Acheron exclaimed back.
No response returned except for the clacking sound of a hoof fitting the floor.
“Will we be alright without giving him the password?” Rose asked worriedly,
Acheron laughed,
“That was the password,”
“Oh,” Rose quietly exclaimed,
“Not a very good password, I think,”
“The simpler the better,” Acheron responded amused,
From the long hallway, they exited into an underground classy café/bar of sorts. A young-looking bartender was cleaning the glasses and pitchers, 3 waitresses with cat ears and tails moved between tables.
Rose looked around in wonder. There was a man and a woman more snake than human coiled together near the corner of the room, nothing to what the beautiful Lamia were supposed to be.
“Those are Nagas, a cousin of the Lamias, you can tell by the fact that’s a man, as Lamias are strictly female. Another difference is that while Lamias use their beauty to seduce men, Nagas are hunters so they need every advantage they can get, as they rule by strength.”
Acheron then pointed at a group of rowdy teenagers on another side of the café.
“Those are Lycans, wolves that can turn into humans. As I told you before, they mature slower than a regular human, so even if they look young, they are around 54 years old, almost the same age as Alpha. But remember, they mature slower, so they are no different than a hormonal teenager right now.”
As he said that the teens sniffed the air and snapped their heads towards them. Rose held unto Acheron a little tighter as she felt four wild animals lock on to her. Acheron tapped her hand and headed towards the bar, where the bartender eyed him suspiciously.
Acheron and Rose sat down on the barstool, while the rest of the room started to pay attention to them.
“What’s a bug and a human doing here?” the bartender asked,
Acheron chuckled,
“Not very hospitable are we? I haven’t seen you since you were a cub, Jonna,” Acheron said,
The bartender narrowed his eyes at what Acheron said.
“You smell familiar, but I know I’ve never hanged out with a blind bug before,” responded Jonna,
Acheron laughed,
“That’s because I didn’t look like this when we met, besides you were barely four back then. How’s your father?”
“He died. Around 50 years ago.” Said the Jonna,
“Who are you?”
Ignoring the question, Acheron turned to look at Rose, who was looking at everything and everyone in wonder, like she was in a fairy tale.
“Rose, Jonna here is Werebear. Werebeasts live almost 500 years, so don’t let that young face fool you, he is over 100 years old.”
Rose nodded towards Jonna.
“Nice to meet you,” Rose said,
“I won’t ask again! Who are you?!” Jonna snapped,
“Relax Jonna, there’s a picture of me behind you, you should recognize me then,” Acheron said, as he whispered something to Rose,
Jonna turned around to see a framed picture of 2 grizzly bears and a cub. It was a picture of him and his father with one of his father’s friends. When he looked at the huge grizzly with purple eyes next to his father and then recalled the smell, it hit him like a truck.
He turned around as fast as lightning and exclaimed,
“Acheron-dono?!?!”
Acheron smiled and laughed,
“Long time no see, cub,”
